@Papa: the snakeskin shirt is magical as well I think? I know it had some sort of effect from when I started this game at book 4. Game died but some of the loot from the earlier books was in play. It has a dex boost and something else?

I am sure that is the one. Its a great item partly due to the slot it takes and does not take. So many good belts.

I am tempted to take the spear but the ability would only be usable when Cadas is not around her allies as its a 30' burst. Wish it was a cone. Not that good really though nauseated is a great effect. In order to get the target nauseated she has to blast everyone within 30' with that sickened ability though. Thoughts? She can carry it for now regardless. Oh, question: What size is it?

That mask is pretty good but the DC is what, 15? Still its a save or sucks per day. I was thinking Robin might want it. OK with selling it too if no on claims it. Cadas has the Reaper's mask. She could be talked into giving up the disgusting thing and wearing the other mask of the party was insistent. :) Confusion twice a day is nice and since it says "allows the wearer to cast" I would say it would use my DC for the spell. That's only a 17 now but at 8th level will be an 18. The item also gives +2 to perception and +1 damage with slashing weapons. And she currently has no slashing weapons.

Other loot thoughts: Robin can claim the 2 Small dagger if he wants it. Otherwise its a pile of gold. Best keep that golembane scarab in the party. Ring of Jumping? Meh. Not sure we have someone dependent on jumping. I say sell it.

Sihedron Medallion: Do we have more of these? Do we know that we might be tracked with them. False life is pretty awesome. And Gentle Repose can be critical if one of us goes does by an undead.

You can sell the dagger - Robin doesn't stab things often enough to justify it.

Agree about selling the ring of jumping.

Robin has the Stalker's Mask for stealthiness, and is happier with that one. I like being a stealthy duo with Adolina, and one of these days Robin is going to find a small-sized creature to imitate! So I also pass on the Medusa's Mask. It's good, though, and someone should consider taking it.

Cadas is not going to want to keep the spear. It's just not that much better than a +1 and it's not the weapon of her deity.

Good plan Robin but for two things... I'm not keen on anything that caps Adolina's dex - even with mithril a chain shirt is limited to +6, she's already at +5 and I will be getting a belt of dex so that cap would be hit. Also she's slightly squeamish about these masks - and things to do with Aldern generally, so thank you - but I'm going to be both IC and difficult and say "No thanks." :)

@Cadas - selling the spear will make things easier. We just need to decide on the Medusa mask then.

Okay, after further consideration, Robin can take the Medusa's Mask, with the Stalker's Mask either being available for party use or else sold. The Medusa's Mask gives Robin something to target Fort saves, which is good since most of his stuff is mind-affecting Will saves. Also, it's probably less evil-looking than his Stalker's Mask.

Armor does not usually resize so if it fits Robin its likely not gonna fit Adelina any time soon.

Let's let Marcel toss his two cents in first - if he takes Medusa then you dont have to give up the Stalker Mask Robin. As to the armour I assume we can get the mithril shirt made smaller but making something bigger would be a lot harder!

For my replacement choices I'm going for:

1. Bobo the Beastman
2. Franco Maglowd
3. Atrius the Black

I picked mostly based on their backstories, and considered crunch slightly behind that. I think these three have the most realistic stories and the personalities which would fit best with our group.

The builds are all good and useful so I'd be happy with any of these really. Bobo was top because he's different to Kizzy, whereas Franco seemed quite similar to her. Atrius came third just because the whole 'has to issue orders' in combat bit wouldn't necessarily gel with the group ethos IMO - we're way too democratic/independent for that! :D

As for the mask, I'm torn...the save bonus is nice (particularly for illusions), but I just don't see Marcellano with a giant iron mask on...leaning toward selling it.

I suspect it will be after we finish with this tower, unless we find you inside as a prisoner or something.

My barbarian just smashed down a door in another game where a room full of enemies are waiting to pounce on him. He could have used that. Pretty situational for a feat but darn useful when it comes up.

Pardon my interruption, but was just surfing the boards, when I saw that your game was still on going. I am happy to see you still working on the AP several years after we all started together.

Kudos to GM Papa.DRB for taking you over! I may be lurking in the background some to see how you fare through the rest of this adventure.

My work situation has straightened itself back out and I am hoping for the time to run another game (or two) as i have missed it greatly. Glad to see you all again, and perhaps we will run into each other on the boards again someday.

I took the CMW wand, only 10 charges after our battle with Xanesha. Assume we sold the Medusa mask which is fine with me. Slow posting over the holidays, apologies.
