Silvanus go !

Borrum Orcbane |

One more question before you update the map tonight, DM Greg. Was Borrum able to resolve his move action after the Minotaur dropped?
Borrum still has a move action, depending if the Minotaur is still up or not. If it is still standing, Borrum steels his nerves for the impending strike that will come. If it is down, he steps forward 5' and closes the door, keeping hold of any handle/rope it may have
With a bunch of us hurt atm, anything to reduce another source of incoming damage is big right now.

Silvanius |

Ok, I gotta go for the Bear's Endurance on Borrum - I could be more useful perhaps with a more offensive spell, but Borrum needs to be standing! ;)
Stepping closer to the massively enlarged dwarf, Silvanius calls on Mother Nature's blessing to be shared with his companion, offering him the increased endurance and resilience of the Bear.
So... Moving to I:11, and casting Bear's Endurance on Borrum -> +4 enhancement bonus to Constitution, which adds the usual benefits to hit points (8 I believe :/), Fortitude saves, Constitution checks, and so forth.
------
Jivs moves out from the cloud, and attacks the goblin next to him.
5' step to L:16/L:17|M:16/M:17 if it means he is still in the cloud, if not he moves one step further (K:17/K:18|L:17/L:18), and attacking with reach.

Reflex: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (10) + 9 = 19 Concentration: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5 He is unable to maintain his concentration and with a Curse word at the young wizard he slams the door shut.
-----
All heroes but Silvanus go !

Borrum Orcbane |

I would like to do the follow, but if I can not please let me know and I'll post a different action.
If there is a handle or rope on the door, I would like to hold the door closed. If there is not a means to hold it shut, I would like to wedge my waraxe in the wooden door, and use my waraxe as the means to keep it closed. I figure either way I would not threaten any squares, but it gives the group a round to do something before the hobgoblin comes back into the picture.

Borrum Orcbane |

Bottom Round 7
Seeing the hobgoblin slam the door in fear, but knowing he could open it again at any time, Borrum rushes forward and drives his waraxe into the wooden door. With a slight twist of the handle to help ensure the bite, he holds the door shut.

DM Greg |

There is one arrow slit 1 floor above you. The base of this part of the structure is a big square on stone but emerging from it is a round tower (as per the picture of the castle i posted) With your stone dwarven lore and your merc years you deduce that there is at least 2 floors inside the tower (a possible 3rd but no more) the first floor of the tower has Arrow slits and on the second floor you think there either are or not any window looking in the courtyard. A completely defensive tower would have more arrow slits to shoot the invaders inside the courtyard or those assaulting the outer walls. Some less exposed military structures would have some windows looking inside the courtyard for the light to get in the lord's private rooms and for fim to be able to check on those arriving in his castle

The Interior of this stone building is open ans spacious. Wooden Timbers support the roof above, and here and there the remains of what were probably once interior dividing walls are evident. Rubble has been piled in a circle to form a crude fire pit. Against the west wall of the room are arranged four double-bunk beds, each strewn with filthy covers. An other bed, this one larger sits near the south wall, partially obscured by a badly damaged wooden screen. A poorly stuffed Owlbear looms in the center of the room.

Silvanius |

DM Greg, Silvanius should be finishing his spell - as the Manticore has broken free from the webbing, he should be able to place the summoned creature next to it without being entangled, correct? (Like above the manticore for example)
Silvanius finishes his conjuring, summoning an ally to attack the Manticore, and hopefully give them much needed breathing room. The druid retreats inside the room and after Borrum, and beckons Jives to do the same.
Jives moving inside behind Borrum, as far as possible, and Silvanius following - lets leave the hippogriff to handle the Manticore for now :D
Hippogrif modified stats from Augment Summoning: STR+4 -> +2 to hit/damage || CON+4 -> Total HP: 31 - it attacks the Manticore immediately.
Hippogriff Claw attack on Manticore: 1d20 + 8 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 8 + 1 = 16Damage: 1d4 + 6 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 6 + 1 = 11

Hippogriff Bite attack on Manticore: 1d20 + 3 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 3 + 1 = 7Damage: 1d8 + 4 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 4 + 1 = 12

DM Greg |

Correct, it takes you 1 full round of incantation, the spell finishes just before you are to act again. (you also have you regular round 9 action) The summoned creature appears anywhere you want it inside the range of the spell. So here you can place it outside of the web and up close of the manticore who was 35ft up.
only one claw manages to piece the creature's hide.
(still rest of party)

DM Greg |

Round 9 Top:
Silvanus Finish his conjuring and the hippogriff managed to hit one claw attack on the manticore
Borrum is welcomed by a nice warming Lightning Bolt as he goes inside the structure

Borrum Orcbane |

I believe Rufa, Reil, and Galdamor all did actions before Borrum. That is my take on it. So maybe some of us will live before his next lightning bolt. As far as Borrum is concerned until the hobgob is dead, expect a bolt each round. :)
