Silvanius is brutally hit by the onslaught of the Manticore, almost completely trespassed by the spikes thrown at him.
If I remember correctly, to be able to cast a spell now Silvanius would have to roll a concentration + damage taken check - is this correct?
The druid tries to find cover as best as he can, while recovering from the painful strikes - "Grook'O, we need your assistance" - he urges his companion.
Turning around, the ape immediately dashes towards the manticore, trying to climb any half standing structural part of the tower to reach, and attack it.

Silvanus, the damage you took isn't continuous damage so you don't need concentration to cast a spell. The ape won't be able to reach the flying manticore as its flying 30ft above the tower so he would need to make a standingjump of 20FT to reach her. I'll give you some time to change your action

If we are planning on taking some kind of cover, I think going into the area where the goblins came from, double doors to the north, would probaly be the simplest.

@DM Greg: Dude you are killing me. I have indicated where I move and you do not move me to those locations. I should be at I15, that position would have not let the hobgoblins 5' step in to flanking positions, would have giving me a hard corner to withdraw against and would have giving me a possible AoO if one of the hobgoblins had moved to try and flank, not 5' step and flank.

Relief, sweat, and blood washes over Borrum's face when he sees the manticore fly off, but he still has to deal with the current threat of the hobgoblins before they take him out.
Glad that the Ape finally got into battle with an opponent it could reach, Borrum takes advantage of the tactical position he is in.
