Hi Elan,
Pharrel here. "Wildborn" is just an ethnicity for half-elves. They're the Ekujae half-elves.
It's more fluff than mechanic at this point ;)
Thanks

Ghiv Masdara |

This is GM Niles' character
Background: Ghiv is a native Kintargan and proud of it. He recalls tales of the Silver Ravens and their defense of the city during the Thrune takeover. His folks always talked politics and he was very receptive of their talk of "freedom" and "self determination". His family has been in Kintargo for 3 generations after his great grandfather arrived in the city from Osirion. It's where his color comes from, as his father often says. Ghiv's father runs a salt export company Masdara's Coster and his family home is located above the business in the Salt Market, Old Kintargo. Ghiv learned much from his father, and his way with words and natural charm makes him an especially good salesman. However, Masdara's is also a front, Ghiv's father Remni Masdara is an agent of the Bellflower Network, and frequently smuggles fugitive halflings out of Kintargo bound for Varisia. Ghiv spends most of his time on this aspect of the family business, that and the secret shrine to Milani hidden under the Masdara company warehouse. Ghiv has more than enough reasons to despise the Thrune presence in his fair city. When talk around town turns to the Protest at Aria Park, Ghiv doesn't need any prodding to attend he's just there to
Party role: Ghiv is a face character with lots of skill points and most of them in social skills. He isn't going to be a combat monster, and he prefers to settle things with words rather than with violence anyways. However, he understands sometimes that the blood of tyrants must sometimes be spilled. His faith in Milani is what sustains him and keeps him focused on the task at hand. He knows that as long as Thrune runs the city then tyranny will be allowed to run rampant in Cheliax.
Future Goals: Ghiv will almost certainly become an Evangelist of Milani. Probably single class Rogue (Kintargo Rebel) until then. He plans on taking the Leadership feat if possible and being very active in the leadership role of the upcoming rebellion.

Hey there,
I have a few concepts in mind that should fit well into the adventure. Gonna need a bit time to acutally choose one and work everything out.
Will propably wind up as something occult - but not sure yet.
Would love to play in this AP, as it should be quite the amusing caontrast to my home game of "Way of the Wicked" where my players are aspiring to Thrune-like greatness :)

Gnomezrule |

I am debating a prankster bard obviously a gnome. The fun of being a prankster satirist. The idea of using the Swap ability to switch out the ubiquitous pentagram broach for a Milani rose or a hell knight's weapon on his belt with a fish just screams awesome in this sort of rebellious subversive fun.
The other option is a human Card Caster Magus with the catch off guard and throw anything feat. Slightly less of a prankster as the gnome he would be a blast fighting with a candlestick then throwing it or a playing card to deliver a spell.

Talin came to the city at a very young age. His parents were travelers, like most of his people. But something made them stay. He was not sure, but he grew up in this city. In turn, the sky brought him new wonders. The Sable Company. Their riders in the air, the way they moved. How people respected them. To a young boy, that was like a dream. Being a great hero of the city. Saving lives, making sure people are safe. Yes. That is what he wants to be when he grows up.
Talin joined the Sable Company at an early age, training with them. His hopes to be one of the ones soaring above the city, protecting them. That is his focus. He started out at the bottom. He expected this. Start at the bottom and work your way up. Hard work. Determination. With time, and long hours, he trained, part of his training lead him to the smith. An old dwarf, Warric. The two grew close around the anvil. Around the sounds of hammers falling. They never talked much, it was a very strange but also a very relaxing relationship between the two of them. When he wasn’t training or doing his duties, he would spend time with Warric. Learning the trade, finding his way around the armors of the Sable Company. He grew a certain fondness in making and inspecting armor, especially the ones the riders had. Theirs and their mounts. Finally the time came, he now was finally one of the marines, and his training has started, training to become one of the revered riders. Now, after all the basic training, doing errands, now the REAL work has started.
The Silver City of Kintargo. There it is. A small regiment, himself included was dispatched to the city. There was going to a protest. They wanted in, even if it was just to make sure things don't get out of hand. So yes. There it was. They would soon dock and enter the city. They should be in and out before they knew it and on their way back home...
Personality
A very kind but determined person. Usually easy to get along with. His loyalties does lay with his Company and what they stand for. Can be funny if the situation presents itself. But he can be serious for the same reasons, there is a time and place for everything

Ok, I had a nice idea - need to doublecheck with you.
I'd like to play a LN cleric of Asmodeus with the Separatist archetype, even though this is strongly discouraged in the Player's Guide.
He is basically not opposed to Cheliax as such - being a Chelish noble himself, but does not find amusing what is going on in the city right now.
Have to still work out in which way his outlook exactly is different from the dogma. Propably taking either the Aristocracy Subdomain (Nobility) or Honor Subdomain (Glory) and seeing order and peace as the ultimate goal.
Depending on what happens during the campaign, he could well convert to another lawful deity (most propably Iomedae or Abadar) if he should realize that the hard way is not the best way to reach true order and stability. This would be more likely if there is another highly religious type of such deities in the party, but heavy interaction with Iomedae-terrorists could also do the trick ;)
Well if Asmodeans commit some extreme attrocities during this AP, he might well just turn away from sheer horror.
Also - playing an ex-cleric for a while sounds interesting.
Mr/Ms Separatists sounds like a very nice roleplaying challange!
EDIT: Especially the fact that many religions were outlawed in Kintargo makes my character furious. Sarenrae for example, he sees as a very important figure and in a way something of an ally to Asmodeus. After all she was needed to chain Rovagug and this alone demands respect.
What is happening right now tastes too much like chaos and a descent into savagery.

Divinitus |

I actually had a different idea for a character than most that I have seen, which is to say, good characters.
I was considering making a Slayer of some sort, who is essentially a gritty vigilante who arose when his fiance burned to death in the fire that destroyed the noble house she belonged to.
Since then, the former carpenter has been on the warpath, spending his long nights awake waging a shadow war on Thrune. His tactics are brutal and devious, singling out the weak thralls of Thrune and making them pay for his agony. He usually leaves one alive, but severely maimed, to spread word of the vigilante known as 'Strix', his persona that he adopts in the long nights, a play on the 'Night Devils of Cheliax' who are almost the personification vengeance and fear to the average citizens.
Depending on how his compatriots reason with him, he may turn to cleaner tactics and regain part of the man that he was or he might just end up with hands stained a total scarlet hue, covered in the blood of those he views as responsible for his loss.
His general demeanor during the day is almost like how he used to be, although with a noticeable air of melancholy about him. At night, however, he is like a grim specter of bloody justice, moving swiftly and with purpose, going about his grim work with his heart full of vengeance.
I do, if selected, fully plan on making my character, whose name I have not yet determined, have problems sleeping, taking the penalties so that I can roleplay him as he was intended. If the other PCs make some effort to help sooth his troubled mind, or if he can somehow sate his growing desire for justice by making dents, however large, in Thrune's power, he would probably sleep much more soundly.
Regarding his appearance, he appears much like a nondescript, if somewhat handsome, Chelish youth. During the day, he dresses in the black clothes of a mourner and wears his fiance's engagement ring on a necklace, usually tucked under his shirt. At night, however, he dons his leather armor, a hooded cloak lined on the outside with large raven feathers, and an intimidating mask made out of dark wood that has been lacquered black.
Regarding his role in the party, he would be simply focused on piling the damage as high as possibly, preferably slaying targets in a single blow from the shadows before they even become aware of his presence. He would also be the go-to man for the rather... unsavory aspects of the revolution. He would be the one who tortures Thrune's officers to extract information from them, assassinate key allies of Barzillai and do it in such a way that it sends a clear message, poison a loyalist noble's drink with nightshade, or some other thing of a similar nature.
Despite his role as the underhanded part of the party, the one willing to push the envelope in regards to how far they are willing to go in order to free Kintargo, he DOES have his limits. He does not believe in collateral damage at all and will not risk innocents to see his vengeance completed. He also still maintains vestiges of his former kind nature and helps out the average citizens when he can, so long as it does not overly detract from his mission (He would not, for example, take part in building an orphanage over a period of two weeks, but would hand away a relatively sizable sum of money to an urchin starving in a back alley, help take a wounded stranger to a local chirurgeon or temple to receive aid, or take a moment to knife a pimp who is beating a prostitute for refusing to pay up what the pimp views as 'his due'.
All in all, I can imagine playing him as a very morally complex character. He would definitely be an antihero, at least at first. As I said, he could really go either way regarding whether he returns back to his former Neutral Good alignment or whether he somewhat solidifies into his new Lawful Evil alignment. And no, the irony is not lost on me that he would be opposing Lawful Evil individuals while being Lawful Evil himself. He's evil more as an incident of his tactics and the almost overwhelming hatred he has rather than any true willingness to be an evil @$$hole, unlike those he faces, which are obviously the type that revel in being evil @$$holes.
I believe that he is best compared to Rorschach on the movie 'The Watchmen'. If you do not know what I mean, watch the video that I'm linking in this paragraph. I will warn you, however, that it could be quite graphic and disturbing to some people, so consider yourself warned! Rorschach's "Dogs Get Put Down" Scene.
I am not quite sure on what sort of weapons that I want him to use, but I am not optimizing with 'rapier is best' style reasoning. I will probably give him something flavorful and awesome, which can still be deadly enough so that he can do his job of taking down the bad guys as fast as possible.
So tell me, GM, is this a character that you could see in your campaign at all? I know some GMs are have a relatively low threshold for dealing with evil PCs, but, as I said, he only starts the campaign as evil and he's not the kind of evil that is destructive to PC and campaign goals. He doesn't eat children, engage in sexual depravity, or plot behind the party's back for his own gain. He doesn't go around killing villagers for EXP or the lulz, nor does he burn down orphanages, or use innocent people as human shields. He is just like a vicious weapon aimed at those who harm the innocent, a jagged, poisoned blade of a man who will work to bring about Barzillai's demise and, make no mistake, he doesn't intend to capture Thrune and put him through some farce of a trial... he intends to make him suffer a painful, ignoble death.

Tricord |

Ursion, Human Oracle
Blessed by a pantheon of freedom made up of Cayden Cailean, Desna, and Milani, Ursion travels Cheliax spreading a hidden message of insurrection. His seemingly disjointed analogies and parables have earned him the nickname "Ursion the Mad". Crowds still gather to listen because of his ability and willingness to heal the masses.
Ursion is of Chelaxian decent, as can be seen by his jet black hair and the hard angles of his facial features.
His left leg is maimed, the knee and ankle twisting at odd angles. He refers to his ailment as "Desna's blessing" for he believes this physical burden has freed him mentally and spiritually.
The small crowd had already gathered around, many of them familiar faces. They would put up with the sermon for the divine blessings they would receive afterward.
Esperia gave Ursion a peck on the cheek. "Careful. Thrune agents are in the throng today."
"I'm always careful," Ursion said, smiling. "But just in case, I'll make my message even more muddled than usual."
Esperia grinned. "Sounds like you'll be earning your nickname today."
"Who's to say that it isn't true?" Ursion the Mad replied.
It took Ursion a few tries to climb atop the short cement wall. His leg bothered him more than usual and his knee felt as if he couldn't bend it at all. Desna's Gift is especially strong today. Today's message will soar into their hearts and minds.
As he looked out into the crowd, he felt a small pang of guilt in his chest. The sickest sat closest to the front and he wished he could heal them before his parables, but if he did so then they wouldn't listen.
Ursion raised his arms into the air and a hush fell on the small group that gathered. Some still whispered in the back. "A flock of sheep once ate in the greenest fields and the most beautiful of pastures. But one day, the shepherd struck a deal with wolves and herded them into a confined pasture, the fence covered in barbed brambles. The flock devoured the shepherd despite their hatred for meat. The wolves fled and the sheep ate the finest of grasses once again."
Ursion spoke other parables of kindness and other virtues and then began to heal those that came to listen. After he was done, a man dressed in a cloak came and spoke to him in whispers. "So, the story with the sheep. Couldn't help but think maybe you were talking about an insurrection against House Thrune."
"Sometimes a story is just a story, friend," Ursion said. "I pray the citizens of Kintargo will pay their taxes and give House Thrune everything it deserves."
Ursion could sense that the man wasn't convinced. The hooded man grunted and walked away.
Espera walked up to Ursion. "Who was that?"
"Either a leader of sheep or one of the wolves. I can't risk finding out. Let's go."

@ Sertaki: If you "feel" the concept go for it, a separatist cleric of Asmodeus could indeed be an interesting roleplaying challange.
@ Ejrik the Norseman: I think I get your character idea, it's very interesting actually. But, as I told other people too, while pitching evil characters is allowed it seems we'll end up with most players being good. In my experience allowing mixed allignment parties is not always a good idea and requires a lot of effort and maturity to properly work.
Anyway we'll see how this goes, coming monday I'll certainly have some tough decisions to make and I already regret not having the time to set up a second table.

Mock At 1st level, the prankster can use his performance to cause one or more creatures to become furious with him. Each creature to be mocked must be within 90 feet, able to see, hear, and understand the prankster, and capable of paying attention to him. The prankster must also be able to see the creatures affected. For every three levels the prankster has attained beyond 1st, he can target one additional creature with this ability. Each creature within range receives a Will save (DC 10 + 1/2 the prankster's level + the prankster's Charisma modifier) to negate the effect. If a creature's saving throw succeeds, the prankster cannot successfully mock that creature for 24 hours. If its saving throw fails, the creature is angered by the performance and seeks to harm the prankster. While the prankster maintains the mocking, the target takes a –2 penalty on all attack rolls and skill checks until it has successfully attacked the prankster with a melee or ranged attack, or has harmed the creature with a spell that deals damage. Mock is an enchantment (compulsion) mind-affecting ability. Mock relies on audible and visual components in order to function. This ability replaces fascinate.
Swap A prankster can steal an object from a creature and replace it with another object of the same size or smaller that the prankster has in his hand. This functions as the steal combat maneuver, but the prankster does not provoke an attack of opportunity, and may use his Sleight of Hand check in place of his combat maneuver check. If the prankster's check exceeds the target's CMD by 10 or more, the target is unaware the swap has been made until it tries to use the swapped object or the end of its next turn (whichever happens first). This ability replaces lore master.

As he grew older he started to learn that he had learned stage combat. He shifted his "defense" to his dexterity, humor and charm. No need to fight friends. A quick wit and good timing can humiliate a rival. When Martial Law was declared some of the actors from the theatre company where his mother worked were arrested as dissidents and have not been seen. Fearing additional reprisals Juvenal's parents fled the city with some of the other performers. Juvenal had recently come of age and felt that he could not leave the city of his birth.
Like many singers Juvenal takes what works he can singing for his supper or performing in the street singing or minor tricks. Seeing the rise in the oppression of the people of Kintargo Juvenal has been employing humor and subtle satire in his performances.
Eager to attend the upcoming protest Juvenal hopes to see the cronies of the cities tyrant humiliated. (Reason to go to the Protest: Looking for Trouble)

I'll throw Vasel's bonnet into the ring.
Somewhat naive and foolish, Vasel Rusalkov cuts a strange figure. His long blond hair hangs free, sometimes dancing in a seemingly non-existent wind, betraying his Ulfen heritage. More oddly, though, the simple cotton Taldan peasant frock he wears is clearly intended for a woman. He at times pairs it with white lip coloring, showing absolutely no concern that he doesn't quite fit in with others in his new home of Kintargo.
Vasel grew up in Whitethrone in cruel, icy Irrisen, the son of a jadwiga witch and his wife, a diva at the famed Frosthall Theater. The young Vasel's innate talent to manipulate cold won his father's favor, and the older man gifted the boy with a life of privilege. In time, though, Pavel's inability to attract a familiar or learn his father's magic proved too frustrating for his father, who gave up on his son and moved on to other "projects."
With nothing but time on his hand, Vasel found himself mingling with stilyagi, youths who reject the culture of Irrisen in favor of the more “modern” cultures of southern Avistan, and decided he'd found himself a new life. Throwing himself wholeheartedly into the movement, he lived a life of aimless luxury, spending his days relaxing at tea shops before attending his mother's performances at night.
And when his mother was allowed to take a role at the Kintargo Opera House, Vasel gained permission to go ahead of her to set up a household for the diva. Thrilled to finally get to experience life beyond the borders of Baba Yaga's realm, he has made himself at home in his few weeks in Kintargo, quickly becoming enamored of the city and the strange life there. He could easily be paired with one or more characters he's befriended should anyone want a somewhat puppy-esque sidekick.
Vasel is a human kineticist (water focus) who could serve a couple roles depending on the mix of the party. He's obviously a bit of a ranged combatant, but could end up serving as a support character in various ways (could go toward healer, or some battlefield control with kinetic cover and slick powers). I prefer to see how he develops as the adventure goes, though I imagine I'll stick with kineticist and eventually take aether (or possibly air) as his second element. He considers himself a winter witch, though obviously that's not his build. Also, I haven't bought equipment yet or picked his bonus feat; that'll just take an hour or so if you choose him though I can do it immediately if you really want.
Personality wise, he's hopefully going to add a light note. He's got a joy for life, and is open to any experience he can get, thinking everything about Cheliax is absolutely fascinating. He's a somewhat naive character, and not particularly wise, though there's something about him that make people trust him.
As for why he's at the protest, I'm not sure any of the reasons in the Player's Guide work perfectly for him. If someone else takes him up on his offer of friendship, he could tag along, but truthfully he's there simply because it's happening, and they don't have protests like this in Irrisen, and obviously this is what you do if you're being a true Kintargan. It's likely the event of the year -- or at least the week! -- and how could he possibly miss it? I'm thinking he could have a +2 for Perception and Sense Motive during the protests (which is the same bonus as Looking For Your Idol), though am certainly open to other ideas.
About me: I've been doing PBPs for several years now. I run five of my own and play in four. I can post daily; I'm in the Eastern time zone, though work second shift so typically post late morning through midnight.
