Sounds like we're going to push on for a bit. We probably can clear the yeth hounds and find the researcher if we don't find any surprises along the way
That said, Enlarge person is fun. Barek gets some use out of it, but Tunder might get even more. His axe would go to 2d8 base damage. Protection from Evil in here might be sound. Magic Weapon is useful if we find anything with DR/Magic. Grease is always a winner. Bull's Strength is solid. Create Pit and Summon Swarm can be very creative.
Seldon can probably cover us for protection from evil. Create Pit and Summon Swarm will both be awesome and a big plus one for enlarge person.
I'd stay clear of grease in such cramped hallways, I feel like it'd be more hindrance than help. I'd suggest ray of enfeeblement, one or two enlarge persons and leaving a slot open to fill with a utility spell later depending on what we come across downstairs?

Ok so I will keep ray of enfeeblement, mage armor, create pit, bull's strength for sure. Acid splash, detect magic and light are a must for cantrips. Also thinking of cat's grace for Miri for AC and to hit. I have scrolls of enlarge person and magic weapon so I shouldn't need to prepare those. Thinking featherfall just because we are on top of a island and shocking grasp for a damage dealing spell in melee if I ever am stuck in that position. That will leave a 1st and 2nd level slot free. Of course that can change depending on what happens in the meantime.

Welcome back Doc! I understand, I am still in pain and doing almost nothing. The drugs keep me groggy and hard to concentrate. My S1 vertebrae is herniated and pinching the Siatic nerve. Surgery on the 1st.
Tunder, I see six buffed adventurers near full health. (Orik, I think you should be on 33/44 after my cure spell?) We're low on spells, but not spent. Either way we can deal with Lyrie first if you like if Doc's willing to hold off on my buff spells. :/

Selena can take a trip up front as well if need be. With Mage armor and the option for shield she could have decent AC and hp. Just throwing that out there if it ever comes to that.

I just had back surgery to relieve my Siatic nerve from being pinched. I will be on and off but don't expect much from me until next week. Thanks for understanding!
Thorn/GM Wolf/ Orik
If it comes to my character just bot him. No telling when I will get on.

I'll be traveling unexpectedly for the rest of the week. I may or may not have internet, I'm not sure. Please run Barek as appropriate if you don't hear from me.
Just took me a while to get the scanned image in. With buying a new house (closing on Monday), packing, cleaning, moving, unpacking, it may be a little spotty for a while.

No worries Seldon, I the player know that you are low and spells and Orik knows that too now.
Still he can grumble to himself. He has been staying right next to you hoping for healing, but it was not bad enough to ask for help, hopefully he wont be downed like Thorn, decapated in the first round.
He bull rushed the yeth hound thinking it would be best to give Tunder room to shoot it.
Ah the move was yesterday, and things are in a bit of a state of disarray. I wont officially have internet at home until Thursday thanks to a mix up with my cable company so posting will be spotty until then.
Apologies for the continued slow play. Hopefully once things are settled you can roll Nualia and win this thing.
You, of course, are correct. I just got excited about evening the odds somewhat and sent you off on your way. In reality, Orik should be still i the main chamber until his count, which goes after Seldon's.
Hrm, if Orik closes that far door behind him it would mean another round of chasing, and I don't expect Seldon could bring you back into the fight any faster. I'll use my scrolls preemptively next time, and just rejoin the fray and take two shots at the flying Yeth Hound. Sorry guys! :/

Hopefully Orik is ok with not being healed still as you removed his fear. So many spells needed and so little resources at this time. Besides unless the yeti hound can do 33 pts of damage with his AOO tht is going to be a seriously hurt puppy.

Please get that damn dog down Seldon! We really need Orik to tag in on Nualia; Barek is in rough shape (literally, he's scaly... eww!) and Mirela will last about two seconds against Nualia XD

I will be on vacation from the 2nd to the 10th of August, and don't know what kind of internet I will have available. Just letting you know now and if needed DMPC me please!
So technically, we're done with what we can to do. There's still portions of level 1 and most of level 2 unexplored. Normally, I'd be all about clearing it out, but we know there's some major bad stuff down here too. Our spellcasters are low, and we still have Thorn to raise. Barek is all for killing more monsters, but how far should we go?
My thoughts:
I'd still like to try our luck with the rest of the dungeon. The amount of ass you two have been kicking lately, and with a fresh days worth of spells, I don't think we have anything to fear.
There are some nice feather beds on the first floor. If we set a watch there's enough for one each. That's adventuring in comfort!
I'd rather a clean break at the end of the adventure rather than downtime now. We're nearly there! Why not stick around for more loot/plot hooks?
Female Human init +7 Transmuter 6 HP 38/38, AC 13*,13, 10* (* +4 for mage armor) saves +3, +5, +6
Lets get him raised and then come back. If we are worried about someone coming here to loot while we are gone we could leave 2 people to guard the place.
Sounds like 3 (Barek, Tunder, and Selena) are in favor of leaving and possibly coming back. Seldon wants to stay and explore. Mirela hasn't rung in, and Orik is abstaining.
Can we agree that the party will head back for Sandpoint then?
PS: PFS credit is available for the Thistletop portion of this adventure for Tier 3-5 characters. If we have at least 3 PFS players, I will assign Chronicle Sheets for you to apply to the PFS-legal character of your choice. The AP's are worth 3 xp (or a whole level) if you complete the whole session. Let me know who is interested.
I have a character that fits the bill. If I'd known we could get PFS credit, I would have registered Tunder.
How about Barek takes the magic armor as he is more likely to be up in the middle of things and Tunder getting Barek's old armor, which will bring my AC up considerably?
Tunder doesn't trust the amulet that looks like a goblin design.
