Yuki Okano |

The GM said it's a surprise round, so I'm afraid you can't take both a move and standard action.
Yuki shoots an arrow at the easternmost pirate, but is unable to hit her target.
Longbow+PBS+DF: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (5) + 6 = 11

DM Davy Jones |

Ayre, did you want to act?
Nymph's charge slams into westernmost sailor and he dies under her sword. The gust of wind knocks the easternmost sailor off the main deck - and into the ship's boat instead of the water.

Ayre |

Ayre moves forward 5 feet and sends his last color spray to hit the three sailors at the edge of the boat
DC 14

Nymph |

There's only 1 sailor left flyboy :3

Ayre |

oh was just looking at the map
In that case 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (19) + 4 = 23 for 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5 Ayre sends a spear at the sailor and bleed 1

Nymph |

You should take Improved Critical for Ranged Touch Attacks, ouchies!

Nymph |

Ah! ... you could also get Opening Volley. Open with the bamboo and then Shocking Grasp the f!++ers when they run up on ya :3

DM Davy Jones |

The spear strikes the sailor and he's clearly hurting.
Initiative (Ayre): 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (6) + 4 = 10
Initiative (Yuki): 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (16) + 3 = 19
Initiative (Galean): 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3
Initiative (Nymph): 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (20) + 2 = 22
Sailor 1: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (20) + 2 = 22
Sailor 1: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (17) + 2 = 19
Initiative result - bad guys go first.
Profession (Sailor): 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (15) + 4 = 19
Profession (Sailor): 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (15) + 4 = 19
The sailor on the deck and then the one in the boat seem to be trying to work various lines - they appear to be dangerously close to freeing the ship's boat.
Go!

Ayre |

Ayre sends another per 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 8 for 1d6 ⇒ 2 plus another bleed

Galean "Rafter" Santiago |

Galean, deciding that he's played around with wind enough for one day, decides to move closer to one of the pirates and swing his cutlass at him.
Attack: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (15) + 3 = 18
Damage: 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3

Ayre |

the same one I wounded before, the bleeding one. not that it matters with that roll

Yuki Okano |

Yuki fires another arrow at the pirate not adjacent to Nymph, hoping to finally hit something.
Longbow + P-BS + DF: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (11) + 6 = 17
Damage: 1d8 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 + 1 = 4

DM Davy Jones |

Ayre's spear kills the pirate he'd been attacking, and Yuki's arrow strikes the pirate in the boat who shrieks at the pain caused by the strike.
Galean, did you want to attack the pirate in the boat? You'd have to jump down into it which would mean a climb check to get out of the boat.

Nymph |

Can Nymph get to him if Gal doesn't? Can't see the map atm, at work.

Nymph |

Okies, will wait for Gal atm.

Galean "Rafter" Santiago |

Not looking forward to checks with medium armor and heavy shield.
After realizing the fact that he can't reach any of the sailors, Galean stands by the side of the boat, ready to cut the Rahadoumi if they attempt disembarking the boat. "Ha! Flee, cowards! For Besmara and booty!", he shouts excitedly, almost giggling. This is actually fun!

Nymph |

"What?!?! Don't tell them to flee!" she growls as she hops down with the sailor.
Attack: 1d20 + 4 + 2 + 1 - 1 ⇒ (8) + 4 + 2 + 1 - 1 = 14
Damage: 1d10 + 3 + 2 + 3 ⇒ (5) + 3 + 2 + 3 = 13

DM Davy Jones |

Profession (Sailor): 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (12) + 4 = 16
The last sailor manages to free the last bit of rigging and the ship's boat drops into the ocean. He's able to push off and seems to be trying to get away from the ship.
You've got two rounds to stop him.

Yuki Okano |

Yuki rushes to the other edge of the ship and fires an arrow at the retreating pirate. "Don't leave without saying goodbye!"
Longbow+PFS+DF: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (13) + 6 = 19
Damage: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (7) + 2 = 9

DM Davy Jones |

Yuki's arrow kills the sailor as he slumps over in the boat.
You have the uncomfortable feeling you'll be sent to fetch it once the battle's over.
Just as you're settling the ship rocks - hard - and you can see a gout of flame erupt from the side of the ship.
Through the fog you can see various Rahadoumi sailors surrendering, and you're pretty sure you see Captain Harrigan emerge on deck with a human heart in his hands.
You have another two rounds to take action.

Nymph |

At 7HP atm.
"If it gives you an excuse to grope me..." the words trail off into a laugh at Yuki's offer.

Yuki Okano |

"You never give up, do you?" Yuki says with a laugh as she casts a healing spell on the ranger.
CLW on Nymph: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 1 = 8

Nymph |

"Nope!" Nymph responds with a grin at Yuki's laugh. "And thanks."

Ayre |

Ayre moves away from the railing and waits to see what happens, he readies a spear if a foe appears but that is it

DM Davy Jones |

Three more pirates burst onto the deck and look around - dismayed to see one of the ship's boats already missing.
Initiative (Ayre): 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (6) + 4 = 10
Initiative (Yuki): 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (11) + 3 = 14

Initiative (Nymph): 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (7) + 2 = 9
Initiative (Pirate): 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (9) + 6 = 15
Initiative (Pirate): 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (9) + 2 = 11
Initiative (Pirate): 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (8) + 2 = 10
Map updated, you've won initiative.

Nymph |

"They're like cockroaches!" Nymph snarls, the carefree back and forth between her and Yuki forgotten as she charges the fresh sailors.
Charge: 1d20 + 4 + 2 + 2 - 1 ⇒ (7) + 4 + 2 + 2 - 1 = 14
Damage: 1d10 + 3 + 2 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 + 2 + 3 = 12

Galean "Rafter" Santiago |

Galean sees the rest of the Rahadoumi appear, and sighs, looking at the skies. Raising his cutlass in the air, he brings it down in the direction of the pirates, as an albatross swoops down from inbetween dimentions.
Full Round Action, would appear in J16 in the end of the turn. Galean would take a 5 foot step to I23.

Ayre |

Ayres ready goes off
1d20 + 4 ⇒ (14) + 4 = 18 for 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4 plus 1 bleed this is at whoever is the first one to appear on the deck
then on his action he fires at the same one he shot at before
1d20 + 4 ⇒ (9) + 4 = 13 for 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3 plus 1 bleed

Nymph |

Oh, sorry, Nymph charged the the corner one, the one she had a line of sight/charge option at :3

Yuki Okano |

Yuki moves to get the mast out of her way and fires an arrow at the pirate directly south of her.
Longbow+PBS+DF: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (10) + 6 = 16
Damage: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 2 = 7
Moved to D17

DM Davy Jones |

Can't update the map right now, sorry.
The officer was the first person on deck and grunts at Ayre's attacks.
Nymph's battleaxe whistles through the air and kills the pirate she's attacking with a terrible, meaty thunk usually associated with a butcher shop.
Yuki's arrow lands in the third pirate's gut and he falls over with a cry screaming his surrender.
The officer, despairing, attacks Nymph with her boarding pike, unable to penetrate the ranger's defenses.
Attack (Boarding Pike): 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (7) + 6 = 13
Damage (Boarding Pike): 1d8 + 4 ⇒ (7) + 4 = 11

Nymph |

It's a Nodachi actually :3
Nymph just grins as the officer strikes at her. "Hmm, you're pretty cute. Tell ya what, you renounce your unearned arrogance against those above and below who allow us to exist and I'll let you live." she says coyly while drenched in the other sailors' gore.

DM Davy Jones |

I haven't. Was that talk your action for the turn Nymph?
You deserve the Deceivers, worthless pirate! May you and all the worthless proles like you be dragged into the Abyss!

Ayre |

Why do the ones losing always talk the most trash? Also I forgot to mention that Ayre moves in a little 10 foot circle to activate his blurred movement

Yuki Okano |

Not so willing to negotiate with the officer, Yuki 5' steps as necessary to avoid cover and fires two arrows at the woman.
Longbow 1+PBS+DF-RS: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5
Damage: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 = 8
Longbow 2: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (18) + 4 = 22
Damage: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 2 = 7

Nymph |

Oh, I didn't know it was our turns again.
Attack: 1d20 + 4 + 2 - 1 ⇒ (20) + 4 + 2 - 1 = 25
Damage: 1d10 + 3 + 2 + 3 ⇒ (10) + 3 + 2 + 3 = 18
Confirm: 1d20 + 4 + 2 - 1 ⇒ (14) + 4 + 2 - 1 = 19
Damage: 1d10 + 3 + 2 + 3 ⇒ (5) + 3 + 2 + 3 = 13
31 if confirmed.
All the geniality fades from Nymph's face as the officer insults the gods, making her all but roar as she hacks into the other woman.

DM Davy Jones |

Well you're rolling high so the enemy round turns over fast.
Yuki, please roll Dexterity for me for the Critical Miss on the first attack - DC 10 to maintain a grip on the bow.
Nymph's attack cuts deep, killing the poor officer. The boarding pike rolls away from bloody fingers.
Combat is over. You've got a brief - very brief! - chance to loot your fallen foes. Some of the stuff is very much worth looting so let me know.

Ayre |

Ayre zips over to the officer and grabs the boarding pike
he scans looking for other easy to grab loot
1d20 + 11 ⇒ (13) + 11 = 24 percep and a quick appraise for value 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (12) + 3 = 15 appraise
