It's half rounded up, so 5.5 rounds up to 6.
I'll take another level of inquisitor.

Gaius Tindareus |

Im going to try to keep my response PG-13, but I still don't want to type it on my work computer :-). I'll level up and type the response tonight.

Gaius Tindareus |

I was missing 3 HP from when Verik stabbed me. This is the next day, right? Can we possibly retcon that Pyron or Tolenn healed me before we went to sleep? It slipped my mind...

DM Crispy |

I think it's reasonable to assume that they would use any remaining renewable resources to heal you, yes. Go ahead and get them back.
As for Halvara, the diplomacy checks might be great once you get her into a private setting, but she's all business right now. Feel free to haggle using the diplomacy checks, though. Nothing makes a lady feel special quite like that. LOL

Wednesday Daud |

Ish true, my half-orc barbarian with a 10 cha about got the samurai in the group hooked up once due to appearantly being a diplomancer and not knowing it.

Wednesday Daud |

Also decided his level will be Bloodrager (Kyton Bloodline, he doesn't have Kyton blood in him but the "influences" mentioned in the bloodline will be there, being a power from pain and suffering rather than kyton blood)

DM Crispy |

Food for thought, guys. I have a potential fifth player (arcane, which is something you guys will be hurting for later) who is interested in joining. He is a frequent poster, so if anything he should help keep us on task. You up for allowing another player? We would fit him in after the scene at Eel's End plays out, of course.

Wednesday Daud |

Did you do a background check yo make sure It wasn't an alias of Rakdon?
Jokes aside I personally don't have a problem with a fifth player.

Pyron Firehide |

Yes, that would be good for him and the online PbP gamers. I am fine with a fifth, especially if this players is playing an arcane caster.

Tolenn |

I'm OK with a fifth as well

Pyron Firehide |

Rootin' tootin'! We've got a fifth! Now, may I please plead the fifth, or do I have to call for V on November the fifth?

Wednesday Daud |

::returns Bloody Fist Bump::

Pyron Firehide |

I plead for the fifth! Now, fifth, who are you, unless you want to be nicknamed V, for no one really knew who was behind the mask. Perhaps you?

Zart the Lost |

Hey all! Damien here playing "Zart the Lost"! I'll try not to let my zoo-keeping get in the way too much - PbP is definitely the way to play a summoner.
I'll dot onto the main thread soon, and join in when DM Crispy introduces me!
Great to "meet" you all and I'm looking forward to it.
Please keep in mind that I am only interested in treasure and XP. If you want to roleplay, you'd best join an RP server. PvP all the way!

Raamanti |

I must apologize for my master, he's been reading some posts written by one Mr Doublegold. While amusing reading, I'm sure my master did not mean to mimic his behavior.

Pyron Firehide |

Hello Damien ("V"]. It is a pleasure, perhaps we will have a good game together. I did enjoy your entrance to the *roleplaying* thread. I wonder, are your characters speaking in the language of the shadows or telepathically?

Wednesday Daud |

A fetchling, neh? Oh This will be interesting for Daud... Moreso if your from Nidal.
Happy to have ya :3

Zart the Lost |

Thanks all! Zart and Raamanti are just talking in common. Their voices aren't human, so just trying to play up on that a bit.
Fetchling is going to be "interesting"? Heh. You should have seen my first concept: necromancer with an undead army. Going off the LE alignment of Cheliax (even though Korvosa is LN), I thought it would be a good chance to finally get that concept out and running.
My backup was a demon summoner.
Both would have been LN with a "greater good" and "tools are tools" kind of mentality.
Then Crispy told me about the Aasimars and the paladin...
Anyway, I loved the shadow caller archetype when I read it (soooooo sick of applying the celestial template when my regular wizards & clerics summon monsters), so fetchling it is! He's from Cheliax originally, and has grown up mostly in a Korvosan orphanage (later in life, under the tutelage of a neglectful arcanist).
Can't wait to roleplay the friction! I'll be sure to make sure it smooths over before anything bad happens. Promise. :-)

Wednesday Daud |

Pretty sure Pyron wouldn't have minded the necromancer as long as all the death certificates and exhumation records were up to date and legitimate :3

Wednesday Daud |

But yeah with the Paladin of Sarenrae would make that a definite no-go.

Pyron Firehide |

Pyron is born of an emberkin aasimar father and a half-tiefling half-human mother. If it weren't for him becoming a Purifier, he would probably have been okay with the necromancer. The fetchling is no problem.
By the way, how much have you read in our campaign so far?

Zart the Lost |

Just read the last 50 or so posts of Fenwick's gameplay and discussion. I must say that Crispy was far, far, far more diplomatic about that than I could possibly ever manage. Wow.
I'll catch up on the rest tonight. :-)

Zart the Lost |

Huh. Just reading Fenwick's game. I have no idea why I thought Gaius was the same person as DM Crispy, but I just did. Anyway, Gaius, very nice diplomacy "roll" vs Rakdon. Very nice indeed. Again, I would have been far less kind.

Raamanti |

A fellow forum-poster here (whom I do not know) PMed me and said he has been monitoring our game here for a while. While he has little PbP experience before recently, he has a lot of GMing experience and would be willing to run this game for me, Pyron, Tolenn, and Wednesday. He wants to run it more as we've expressed our own thoughts of characters driving a story, hence the reason for Rakdon not getting the invite.
Master, you really must learn to read properly. It was right there, and I know for sure that you read that post before. Sigh. Your attention to detail is most lacking.

Pyron Firehide |

I like this multiple personality method. It looks like this game will become even more enjoyable with your skills and talents.

Zart the Lost |

Glad you enjoy it! I'm all about trying to make things fun for everyone - as a player and especially as a GM. Been loving the reading, but haven't managed to finish all of the posts so far (about halfway through this game's gameplay thread). Really looking forward to jumping in on the action with all of you!
If the excessive posting ever gets tiresome, please do let me know. Did Crispy mention that I was a frequent poster?

Raamanti |

He is a frequent poster, so if anything he should help keep us on task. You up for allowing another player?
Yes he did, master. Use the scroll wheel before posting next time.

Pyron Firehide |

None of you know this, but I am also running a PbP game for 4th edition players: http://www.myth-weavers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=31255
I don't need any players, but I thought I would just let you know and give you a chance to see what you think of my game.

Zart the Lost |

D&D 4th Ed really isn't my cup of tea - some really interesting concepts and flavor in the descriptions, but I think mechanics-wise it still ends up too plain for my liking. Felt a little like playing with a straightjacket on, but I haven't given it enough of a go to make a proper judgement.
The forums are also interesting - not sure if I could get used to it after playing on Paizo. Those massive images get in the way quite a bit (especially that minotaur!), but I can see how they'd be useful for adding color to the descriptions. The rolling mechanics stuff on the other hand is pretty cool all around as is the text formatting, and I think Paizo could do more like that to encourage PbP on their forums. The lack of a "tagline" is glaring, though.
I have to say that I love the mapping tool that you're using. Depending on how easy it is to edit and if it's visible from a smartphone, I may even adopt it over Google Drawings for my next game.
Aside from the frankly unimportant mechanical stuff above, the game looks like fun (having fun is the most important aspect of roleplaying - so often forgotten by some players and GMs). You seem to be doing a very good job of keeping everything nice and rounded up with your posts. Great work all around!
