Zephram Taranis |

Ok, so I *did* switch to Moonlight Stalker.
In terms of reward, would Zephram be able to get a little time with the Cyphermages and showing him a few spells (that he can convert into alchemical forumlae)?
Beyond that, Zephram would be delighted to get a Noqual Chain Shirt made -- assuming that the thing can be enchanted later -- and assuming that the rest of the group doesn't mind using 12.5 pounds of the metal -- he'd certainly throw in the small amount he's been hiding away. (Not being a spellcaster, it's a pretty snazzy thing for him).
So, we get 1 item from the Cyphermages of up to 2,000 -- and then need to worry about the splitting/sale of the remainder, is that correct?

Rezol Born-in-Steel |

I am thinking that grabbing a Handy Haversack would be a good deal.
As far as anything else goes, Rezol's pretty comfortable with just taking his portion of the gold we earned.

Me'mori |

That's fine..Nakoda wants little to do with Riddleport now. Every Shoanti that has joined her quest has disappeared. Including a prospective husband. I've been trying to convey it, but it's been a bit vague because of... Well. This last part has been a bit... rushed.

Rezol Born-in-Steel |

Rezol honestly doesn't care as long as there's a good fight to be had. I don't think there is terribly much he'd need to do in Riddleport (maybe spend some of the money we earn to improve his gear if it's possible?) but after that he's fine with heading to Splitsville.

Zephram Taranis |

Ideally, I'll spend some coin from the split (or from the underboss) to copy spells into formulae so I can do more than fly with my level 3 slots -- and then, as I said, if people don't mind, look into a Skymetal Chain Shirt. Since I have time, I'll figure out what I'll be grabbing over the weekend -- though it'd be good to know what total spending looks like.

Zane Argentus |

This'd be my scroll list. will calculate the prices soon.
Expeditious Retreat - Protection from Evil - Comprehend Languages - Shield - Gust of Wind - See Invisibility - Mirror Image - Command Undead - Ant Haul - Daylight - Stone Call - Fly - Touch of the Sea - Water Breathing - Endure Elements - Teleport - Silent Image - Blur - Glitterdust - False Life

Zephram Taranis |

So I'm hoping to have a nice wizard give me access to spellbooks containing some or all of these spells so I can copy 'em into my formulae book:
1: Comprehend Languages, Detect Secret Doors.
2: Blur, Invisibility, Levitate, Protection from Arrows,
3: Animal Aspect (Greater), Arcane Sight, Aura Sight, Displacement, Draconic Reservoir, Elemental Aura.

Me'mori |

Nakoda is going to pick up a Skymetal Heavy Pick, and a Light Pick-- might as well get both of them masterwork with something befitting a hawk clan member.
How much of the things in the caves were we able to scavenge? Mostly, I just would like to have secured enough to make some non-magical upgrading to the things Nakoda owns. Given that we have most of the avenues covered, I'll look into getting her some all-around utility.
I thiiiiink she's carrying enough to get something enchanted, after paying a funeral tithe to Kharn's family.

Behind the main support pillar, there is a small lagoon, the sandy shore is piled high with crates and goods.
When investigated, you see they are primarily tools and supplies they used to move the meteorite from the crater to this area, to repair the platforms here, and other sundry supplies needed.
The supplies include:
two block and tackles,
10 square yards of canvas,
50 feet of chain,
five crowbars,
three fishing nets,
six grappling hooks,
four hammers,
six hooded lanterns,
a set of masterwork shipwright’s tools,
a set of masterwork carpenter’s tools,
a set of masterwork tailor’s tools,
a merchant’s scale,
seven miner’s picks,
14 pitons,
two 10-foot poles,
a portable ram,
200 feet of silk rope,
17 empty sacks,
and two sledges.
Mixed in with all this mundane gear is a crate containing four bottles of 4663-vintage wine
from the Terverius Wineries of southern Cheliax. Each bottle is worth 300 gp.
A small, unlocked box on the main platform:
contains two potions of lesser restoration, three potions of remove
paralysis, five potions of cure moderate wounds, and a potion of
neutralize poison. All are labeled in Undercommon.
Shindiira’s darkwood trunk contains more than just the 53 pounds of noqual harvested from the meteorite.
This ore creates a rough layer along the bottom of the
chest;
atop it Shindiira has laid several changes of clothes (including two sets of noble outfits sized for an elven woman and worth 60 gp each) and a set of ostentatious costume jewelry worth 5 gp.
Also in the chest is a silver scrolltube worth 150 gp that contains several maps—
Devil’s Elbow (before and after the meteorite strike),
Riddleport, Celwynvian, western Varisia, and all of Varisia.
Perhaps the greatest treasure in the chests, though, are the three books wrapped in silk and leather and set along the left side of the chest.
The first of these books is Tsalkaean’s Bestiary, a book written in Undercommon that grants a +2 circumstance bonus on Knowledge (dungeoneering) checks to identify aberrations and oozes and is worth 200 gp. Zane
The second is a well-read book called Thoughts on Varisian Customs, written in Common and worth 10 gp. Zane
The final book is a slender journal, written in a script unfamiliar to any of you. Zane

• Scroll case.
Total Liquidated Gold value: 8325g*
*Minus Potions and Masterwork equipment in bold
_________________________________________________
Nakoda will take the (expensive)scrolltube and the maps.
Nakoda will take the CLW wand
Nakoda will also claim the two scrolls of Charm Monster
Nakoda will claim the cloak of Resistance +1
As well as Liz's suggestion that everyone get a CMW & CLW potion.
•If no one wants that +1 Mithral Chainmail(40lbs), Nakoda would melt it down and get some of it made into the light pick(6lbs) that she wants.
All of the skymetal was put into Liz's pack.
If we account for improving equipment at the camp, we can nix all of the chain shirts, half of the bucklers, and half of the rapiers? That +1 flail might also be well-employed(not accounted for in gold total).
Not sure about the armor and shield, though.

Zephram Taranis |

I thought that I'd posted that Zephram wil grab a masterwork hand crossbow and some bolts, since he's proficient -- but I'm thinking it got eaten.
I would think it's well worth keeping the other potions as group (contingency) loot.
So the question is how is the split handled (of 8300 or more) given various people taking various items (the cloak for instance)? [Do people buy out the items they've taken, for instance? -- not that that's the best way, just as one of the "new" folks, I wasn't here for past splits]
In terms of the item from the Cyphermages -- are they willing to allow Zephram to pay the difference if he's looking for an item work a bit more than 2,000gp? [Also, wasn't sure which of the spells he'd be able to copy for...]
And, in terms of Noqual, in an ideal world, he'd have a chain shirt made (for the properties of Noqual, he's already got +1 leather lamellar) -- which would take 12.5 pounds, but he's got almost half of that hidden away himself.

Rezol Born-in-Steel |
1 person marked this as a favorite. |

Rezol will take the Slippers of Spider Climbing if nobody wants them. Giant angry half-orc attacking from the ceiling would be hilarious to see.

Me'mori |

I'm fine with however you guys decide to sort the treasure. This is the first time that Nakoda's ever really taken some of the available things, and that was only because no one else claimed anything. Between the favors and payments that everyone has available, the question would more accurately be, "Who wants something that they can't afford at present?", would it not?

LizArdoc |

Perhaps something to consider, after a certain amount of time after the list has been posted, all unclaimed items are automatically sold. We can PM everyone when treasure is found for claims, this can help speed up things and avoid 'Hold on! I wanted that!'

Me'mori |

Alright. With the slippers removed from the pool:
