Hmmm... okay, I know it's unlike me, but I think I'll be waiting to see what everyone in the Initiative count before Tapestry does before deciding on an action this time... assuming she's still up and capable by that point...

BTW: would I be correct in thinking we were all prepared enough for combat that we're not counted as flat-footed or anything? After all, there was the readying of axes and whips and who knows what a while back. (I want to AoO any tiny critters that leap at me! Well, one of 'em anyway...).

Yeah that's fair. You guys found him a bit odd, not to mention something strange happening to you as you slept and only you two met him. You would definantly be on your toes.

Male Human Monk 2

The action bursting out and the dolls moving around, Aventi looks at this scene... Again... I wonder how many times I get to trouble with these people, but most of all! Why its so weird and now a doll-magic-maker? oh, please, my sanity is surely running out and turns to look at his own doll Well, I knew I don´t have the charm, but being all wood? Surely I got some steel on my arms and slashes out blows against dolls, while giving a shout to Jerin Mr. Jerin! One of those purchased armors spells would be nice to have

Fob 11d20 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7
Fob 21d20 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 = 6

Cursing and looking at the dolls Damn small sized clones

Master of Gaming and Grognardia Current map

Since Krenn is still currently holding the doll I'll consider it that they are both grappling, like earlier with Curnach and Raktavarna

3 Dolls

The dolls spread out to attack. One of them attacks Krenn as another heads towards Curnach and a final one to Jerin.

Doll 1: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6

Doll 2: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6

Doll 3: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (10) + 3 = 13 Jerin takes 1 point of damage from a small nasty looking dagger.

Curnach and Jerin get a AoO if they had their weapons out.

Tapestry Doll

The doll of Tapestry struggles in Krenn's as she then roars with rage and attempts to break out of the grapple, however Krenn has the size and is unable to wiggle out.

1d20 + 5 ⇒ (10) + 5 = 15

Onto Tapestry and then Aventi's doll and so on.

Female Tiefling Cleric of Calistria 2

Round 1:

Raising her holy symbol of Calistria with her free hand, Tapestry calls on the goddess to Bless her allies (standard action, casts Bless, +1 morale bonus on attack rolls and saves VS fear for her allies for the next 2 minutes),

'Goddess, aid us in our revenge against those who would steal our souls!'

(No idea if that's what they actually do, but Jerin did call them 'soulbound' so it sounded right).

She'll not unsling her shield yet - wanting to keep a hand free for spellcasting for the moment. But just in case, she'll create a Copycat of herself as a Move action (mostly 'cos I've not used it yet and I hate to see things go to waste!) - a single Mirror Image which lasts for two rounds, or until dispelled or destroyed if that comes sooner (Trickery Domain power).

As the feeling of confidence from Calistria's blessing washes over the group (hopefully), Tapestry seems to divide in two - pulling apart until she's standing next to her twin!

HP 133/133, AC 26/14/23 CMD 22, F +13, R +10, W +17, P +22, In +11

As we're not flat-footed I hope no one objects to speaking a small sentence out of initiative as a free action.

Aventi! Keep this one off me, my spell must not be interrupted!

Round 1 Action-

Curnach takes a step away from the melee while readying his shield (note- its a spiked shield so I can make an AOO with it if necessary) and begins spellcasting in a slow and deliberate manner.

Spellcraft DC16:

Summon Nature's Ally 1

Aventi's Doll

Take a AoO as it attacks

Aventi, you recognise this move as your own flurry of blows.
1d20 + 3 ⇒ (13) + 3 = 16
1d3 ⇒ 3
1d20 + 3 ⇒ (17) + 3 = 20
1d3 ⇒ 1

Though this thing is small it appears to pack a punch.

Mrs. Pestico

The large doll attempts to charge at Jerin, screaming in anger.
"Leave this shop at once! My husband is a innocent man!" as she runs in Jerin's direction she slips on the greased floor and falls down helpless.

1d20 + 2 ⇒ (7) + 2 = 9

Sorry I've been been replying sooner. Real life stuff been distracting me

Male Human Monk 2

AoO = Attack 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (20) + 5 = 25, Confirm Crit: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (8) + 5 = 13, & Damage 1st die 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 9 & 2nd die (from Crit) 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6

Hitting back with strong punch, Aventi looks around and decides it would be better to keep the old wizard out of the fight and move towards the old man [19 AC vs AoOs]

Male Human Wizard (FC) 13 - Enchanter

Jerin's AOO with his staff on the one that attacked him:
staff atk 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (11) + 1 = 12 dam 1d6 ⇒ 3

Round 1

It looks like it would be a full round action for Krenn to maintain the grapple on the Tapestry doll. If that is the case, he will do so, taking a step to H12. If it is less than a standard action, he'll ready to attack Mr. Pestico if he takes a threatening action.

Jerin! If we destroy the dolls, will it hurt the ones they are bound to? What about their maker? If you don't know, what's your best guess?

Next up, Curnach, then Mr. Pestico.

HP 133/133, AC 26/14/23 CMD 22, F +13, R +10, W +17, P +22, In +11

Curnach's action is already posted, but sadly if he is hit hes likely to have wasted his turn, was counting on Aventi helping me out :(.

Male Human Monk 2

Well, I can´t see none of the dolls reaching you Curnach. You should be pretty safe there, plus as I see: Aventi´s perspective the old man is more dangerous, if he is doing something like this. Better to keep casters safe and him locked down, than casting something upon us, while we are fighting with the dolls

HP 133/133, AC 26/14/23 CMD 22, F +13, R +10, W +17, P +22, In +11

I have one 5 foot from me, attacking me lol. Never mind.

Master of Gaming and Grognardia Current map

Before I post Mr. Pestico

Jerin:

Harming the dolls will not harm the creator nor the people it was created from. The only way to release the soul would be to destroy the "Soul Focus" which is used to hold a small part of that person's personality. This focus can be anything from a masterworked dress to a weapon of somekind. Most common use is a gem on the chest.

Aventi, your punch lands hard on the doll, however you felt some of the damage was resisted, though only a very little and this thing appears to be almost as Dexterous as you.

Master of Gaming and Grognardia Current map

Mr. Pestico

"Leave my family alone!" the old man panics, seeing you all too close to his dolls to do anything so he casts a spell and then slowly rising up 20ft into the air.

Spellcraft DC 17:

The spell is Levitation

Round 2 Action
Jerin will utter some word of power and attempt to touch the doll, Daze power, no save if 2 HD or less. Touch atk 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (20) + 1 = 21 and then move to hex I-7
[ooc] spellcraft 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (5) + 9 = 14

Armor spell coming right up, just keep the little monsters off of me!Krenn, they will have a soul focus, usually a gem on the chest!

Male Human Monk 2

Aventi bursts to motion with fingers striking the gem. Strike moving to hit the doll, it flows to upper strike. With a solid movement Aventi turrns and as his leg stomps with power against floor, he is using the whole momentum to bring his elbow with force against the dolls chest & gem

FoB 1 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (4) + 5 = 9
Damage 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3

Fob 2 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (20) + 5 = 25 & Fob 2 Confirm 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (19) + 5 = 24
Damage 2d6 + 4 ⇒ (5, 4) + 4 = 13

Looking around and taking 5´ft step toward Curnach, Aventi notices Mr. Pestico and how he rises Wow! I never would have knew that the Old man can fly? I would LOVE to learn that trick... there are snakes, who are also flying... although they first have to drop and chuckles to himself

HP 133/133, AC 26/14/23 CMD 22, F +13, R +10, W +17, P +22, In +11

Round 2 Action-

This assumes I am not hit, or that if I am hit I make my concentration roll... If things don't go that way please allow me to amend my action.

Finishing his spell with a final gesture, a golden eagle appears in the air next to Mr. Pestico and attacks him in a furious flurry of talons and teeth.

1d20 + 5 ⇒ (5) + 5 = 10 Talon 1
1d4 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4

1d20 + 5 ⇒ (2) + 5 = 7 Talon 2
1d4 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4

1d20 + 5 ⇒ (16) + 5 = 21 Bite
1d4 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4

If Pestico moves in any direction including levitation the eagle will take its AOO.

1d20 + 5 ⇒ (12) + 5 = 17
1d4 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4

His eagle summoned, Curnach turns his attention to his attacker- stepping away and casting once more in a careful manner and enveloping the doll in flames.

Doll does not get an AOO as it doesn't have the reach to attack me without moving into my square.

2d4 ⇒ (1, 4) = 5 Reflex save DC16 for half damage.

I'm not good with measurment. He basically just levitated. Had to look up the spell levitate and it only said 20ft up. Eitherway, he's meant to be just up in the air by 5ft, attempting to stay out of your reach.

Master of Gaming and Grognardia Current map

Aventi utterly clobber's his doppleganger doll, however it still stands, yet cracks are surfacing across it's china body. You can assume it won't stand for long. You notice there are cracks on a bight green gem that appears to dim after that hit.

DM only:

1d20 + 1 ⇒ (16) + 1 = 17

The doll appears to resist you attempt to daze the creature.

3 Dolls

Doll 11d20 + 3 ⇒ (5) + 3 = 8

Doll 21d20 + 3 ⇒ (5) + 3 = 8

Doll 31d20 + 3 ⇒ (17) + 3 = 20

Krenn takes a point of damage from one of the little dolls lunging at him with a tiny dagger. Also Curnach and Aventi get AoOs against the dolls for trying to attack you.

Tapestry's Doll
Tapestry's Doll attempts to break the grapple again and she breaks out of it, smirking up at Krenn as she gets out a leather whip, ready to face you off.

1d20 + 8 ⇒ (13) + 8 = 21

Male Human Monk 2

AoO Attack 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (15) + 5 = 20 & Damage 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4

Watching his doll as giving a hit back at it, Aventi is thinking of this... odd situation These dolls are more resilient than I could have ever though... huoh, bad thing I don´t have really... humorous personality. The doll would be boring and steps closer as he hits the doll with couple well aimed blows

Fob 1 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (14) + 4 = 18
Damage 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6
Fob 2 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (18) + 4 = 22

HP 133/133, AC 26/14/23 CMD 22, F +13, R +10, W +17, P +22, In +11

1d20 - 5 ⇒ (9) - 5 = 4 Miss on AOO.

As I wasn't hit, I get both the Summon off and step back and burning hands. I assume you'll resolve that once we get to my initiative :).

Female Tiefling Cleric of Calistria 2

Round 2

Laughing out loud at both the old dollmaker dangling from the ceiling (well within range of even Krenn's punches, let alone his axe) and her doll-doppleganger pulling out a whip (which is hardly going to be effective at damaging armoured targets, and the doll's size will make Tapestry's own tactics seem... amusing... at best), Tapestry rolls her eyes as Jerin fails to complete his 'promised' spell-casting (instead opting to try saving his own hide),

'Typical wizard,' she mutters, as she moves around the doll's house to Aventi's side, pulling a small piece of paper from a pouch on her belt and reading sacred scriptures of Calistria from it as she goes. The piece if parchment appears to combust as Tapestry reaches out and touches Aventi - causing a shimmering field of mystic power to surround the man...

Tapestry moves to 30ft to I/8 (since I doubt the dolls get AoO at their size) as a move action, and casts Shield of Faith on Aventi as a standard action.

'There you go, my friend,' she says to Aventi with a smile, adding (with a quick 'daggers' glance towards Jerin), 'no charge...'

The devil-woman can be petty... who knew?;)

Aventi gets a +2 Deflection bonus to AC for 2 minutes.

(BTW DM - I wasn't laughing at you with the whole levitation thing, I just pictured the scene whilst reading it and either way (tardis-like shop interior or the old dollmaker smashing through the roof) it struck me as really funny! I was thinking the guy would be hovering above a hole in the roof, glowing with arcane power, calling upon his 'minions' to finish us in classic supervillain style... but that's just me, my mind goes to weird places... :) )

Master of Gaming and Grognardia Current map

It's okey, I assumed as that was in character.

Aventi's Doll

Provokes AoO which I believe you already rolled for earlier.

Flurry of Blows:
FoB1: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7
Damage: 1d3 ⇒ 2
FoB2: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (14) + 3 = 17
Damage: 1d3 ⇒ 2

Mrs Pestico

The large doll attempts to stand once again and then slips, falling onto her back once again.

1d20 + 2 ⇒ (8) + 2 = 10

Curnach's fire bursts out and due to it's size manages to dodge most of the flame, however those that hit the doll is not reduced. The hair and cloths of the doll are scorched, but it manages to pad out the fire before catching alight.

1d20 + 3 ⇒ (18) + 3 = 21

DM:

To catch fire 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (16) + 3 = 19

Master of Gaming and Grognardia Current map

Also, the bite of Curnach's eagle hit Mr. Pestico. This creature bit as it clawed at his face, fast enough to dodge the claws but not to dodge the bite.

Male Human Wizard (FC) 13 - Enchanter

Round 3 Action

Cast Mage armor on Aventi through the bonded item. +4 armor bonus.
Move action to G6.
This should protect you nicely, between our two protections nothing should hit you! He a says with surety

Round 2.
Krenn will grip his axe in both hands and swing on the doll that stabbed him.

Power attack with axe
To hit 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (1) + 6 = 7
Damage 1d10 + 7 ⇒ (3) + 7 = 10

Master of Gaming and Grognardia Current map

Mr Pestecio, seeing how his beloved dolls are being harmed casts a spell and ends up at D7, lining himself up with Jerin, Aventi and Tapestry, lowering himself in a move action and drawing a wand at the same time.

Yeah, corrected as you said

Male Human Monk 2

Uff... what the heck is with those dolls. Hard and persistent, which seems to go with the age of old people as he lashes at his doll

1d20 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7
1d6 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4
1d20 + 4 ⇒ (6) + 4 = 10

3 dolls

Each of the Dolls atttack their current targets.

Curnach 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (10) + 3 = 13

Aventi 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (12) + 3 = 15

Krenn 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (17) + 3 = 20

All three dolls provoke AoOs and at the same time their weapons clang against the armour or in Aventi and Curnach's case, they avoid with ease, like like Aventi's Doll.

Tapestry's Doll

using her ability the doll steps over to Krenn to touch him provoking a AoO but misses completely.

1d20 + 5 ⇒ (1) + 5 = 6

Damn, Dolls are s+%# today.

AOO on doll (the first that attacked him, not the Tapestry doll.)
To hit 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (10) + 7 = 17
Damage 1d10 + 4 ⇒ (6) + 4 = 10

Female Tiefling Cleric of Calistria 2

Stepping a little way towards the old dollmaker, Tapestry snaps her whip at the wand in his hand...

Move action to F/8, standard action to disarm

Weapon Finesse whip attack to Disarm 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (11) + 7 = 18

If the disarm is successful she'll yell...

'Someone grab that before he can use it!'

Meaning either Krenn or Curnach, of course, since only they go between Tapestry and Pestico in the Initiative order...

Male Human Monk 2

AoO Attack 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (4) + 5 = 9 & Damage 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4

Master of Gaming and Grognardia Current map

You disarm him successfully and he appears shocked at such the use of your weapon.

Aventi's Doll

He attempts a flurry of Blows of Aventi provoking an AoO from Jerin if he has a mellee weapon out. Again Aventi appears to out-manouvre his doll doppleganger.

FoB1:1d20 + 3 ⇒ (12) + 3 = 15

Damage: 1d3 ⇒ 1

FoB2: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (7) + 3 = 10

Round 3 Action (Eagle)-

1d20 + 7 ⇒ (15) + 7 = 22 Eagle Attack
1d4 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3

The eagle hurtles across the room, flying at Mr. Pestico and tearing into him with a Talon before disappearing.

Round 3 Action (Curnach)-

Curnach takes a step backwards and hurls a fire bolt at the doll at point blank range.

1d20 + 3 ⇒ (14) + 3 = 17 VS Touch AC
1d6 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3 Fire Damage

Don't really have the ranks in handle animal to try and get the eagle to snatch the wand, though it was tempting.

That's the one problem with power attack. Gives you much better damage, but if you don't get good enough rolls it just looks like a overshowy swing

With no one threatening Mr. Pestico he picks up his wand, aiming it in the same direction before and out the end of the wand fires a bolt of lightning towards Jerin, Aventi and his own doll which it hits full blast, nearly destroying it.

The firebolt closing in and for a moment, seems like it will succumb Aventi to fire... an eerie moment passes and time slows for Aventi. Bending his knees and back bending further and further backwards as he makes flip in mere second, bolt harmlessly passing above him.
