This turn
the kids move away as the druid is distrated with waving his arms. They use their brushes as reach weapons, attempting to trip the half-orc on the already slippery slurry floor. He fails as one of the brushes (With bristles that are dirty beyong belief) sticks in his face and he slips, falling to the floor.
Prone and ready for all of you to attack.

DM Aron Marczylo |

Is the dwarf child his nephew?
Back away, child. Let us handle this.
Krenn climbs the ladder this round.
Yes and you were prepared to climb so you can climb it as a move action and then do something else. It's not a very high lader.

Aventi D´Gaudon |

well, as I have understood-> Surprise round, Round 1 etc (and so on continueing). About the stunning fist, I though it hit him or something like that, giving 1 round more time but then... yah. Going with game :) I will at least roll for the AoO since got it and otherwise I will be lying in ground
Attack1d20 + 2 ⇒ (14) + 2 = 16

Althon Skyven |

Damage(2-handed w/Bastard sword) 1d10 + 4 ⇒ (8) + 4 = 12

Lasts for 1 round and the one round you did flurry of blows and he comes to before your turn I believe. That's what it says on the rule about the feat.

DM Aron Marczylo |

Not sure what round it is or anything, but for the moment Tapestry will just follow everyone else up the ladder and get ready to cast Stabilise on anyone who looks like they need it - friend or foe.
Well Aventi seemed to consider the surprise round as round 1, but I don't. Surprise round is different since everyone else was busy and Aventi was the one sneaking about and running straight at the half-orc. So we're on round 2. Did you climb the ladder the first round?

Krenn Weststone |
Krenn Weststone wrote:Yes and you were prepared to climb so you can climb it as a move action and then do something else. It's not a very high lader. Is the dwarf child his nephew?

Krenn climbs the ladder this round.
That's great! Krenn will use a second move action to ready his axe. He's not going to bother with his shield; he'll need both hands for the vengeance his axe needs to dispense!

Tapestry |

So we're on round 2. Did you climb the ladder the first round?
No - she moved to Althon and cast Guidance on him in the first round (that is, assuming only Aventi got to do anything in the surprise round, 'cos the rest of us were still out of combat). So, just to confirm...

Aventi D´Gaudon |

Aah, I put it exactly as you though it DM :) You can even see it when you look-> 1:surprise round, 2:round 1 and etc etc. They are not the same I know. Just was kinda of lost there, but now I see where we are.
Anyway, since I got 11 dmg, I went from 8 to -3hp, and this round I guess at -4 when Tapestry casts stabilize.

DM Aron Marczylo |

Round 3
Order:
Half-Orc A.K.A. Giggles
Tapesty
Althon Skyven
Avanti D'Gaudon
Curnach Daveck
Krenn Whetstone
Giggles gets up, provoking another attack of Oppitunity from Althon this time.
"Giggles is angry!" he growls out and after taking such a heavy hit from Althon's sword he takes the heavy blow, but laughs again. He also sees at the top of the stairs the dog is now racing down to the floor where everyone is. "Here comes Bloo." he grins.
As Giggles swings the flail he almost hits Althon, though his dexterity allowed him to simply duck out of the way, avoiding a horrible blow. He's bleeding quite heavily and even though the kids appear to be scared of the dog, taking out Lamm first boosted their confidence and they go back to hitting the half-orc's legs and tripping him on once again. The dog has a man beside it who looks pale and confused with a wand in his hand. He appears to not know what to do and there are many small kids behind him looking trying to look at what's happening. They're in A7, top of the stairs. Man with the wand isn't sure of his next move.
Curnach's summon appears.Mind if it acts the same inititive as you or shall I roll seperately for you?

Curnach Daveck |

Curnach's summon appears.Mind if it acts the same inititive as you or shall I roll seperately for you?
No, it doesn't appear yet. It appears on the start of my initiative, and acts at the same time as me. When my turn comes around i'll post where it appears, what it is and what its actions are.

Tapestry |

Wait - so there's stairs now? A8 is a level lower than the rest of the place... and the basement is below that? Doesn't that make the ship closer in one map than the other? You know what, it's probably best I stop trying to figure out the layout and just hit stuff...
1d20 + 5 ⇒ (3) + 5 = 8

DM Aron Marczylo |

update before Krenn's and Curnach's actions.
The whip fails to hit the wand out of the man's hand and he appears to be pissed off that you would try that against him.
Althon's sword blows brought the half-orc down, making him laugh as he went, however due to his Orc blood he is still standing, but barely. A mortal would be on the floor bleeding by now but clearly he's not going to go down just yet.

Curnach Daveck |

Pretty sure that Krenn's attack misses, so i'll declare my actions now. We can't afford for another party member to go down to a hit from that flail; and Giggles is up right after me.
His summoning finishing, Curnach smiles in triumph as an eagle appears in the air above and just behind Giggles, flanking with Althon, and tearing into the half-orc with a flurry of talons and a bite.
Note- The eagle disappears at the start of my action next round, so if any AOO's are provoked it can take them.
Talons-
1d20 + 7 ⇒ (18) + 7 = 25
1d4 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5
1d20 + 7 ⇒ (12) + 7 = 19
1d4 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6
Bite-
1d20 + 7 ⇒ (11) + 7 = 18
1d4 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3
Edit: 14 damage if AC18.
Seeing that his eagle has things well in hand, Curnach quickly moves beside Tapestry towards the man and his dog, and casts Guidance upon himself.

Curnach Daveck |

story of this fight? just need to pump more AC on myself before engaging fight :D.... joke ahah. Need to go now as a group. Just thinking way of solving things
Avanti is still lying on floor, unconscious. [Automatic pass of round] HP is currently at -4
Eh, dunno what the rest of the party were faffing about with, taking two rounds to climb a ladder lol. The time it took to climb the ladder made a lot of the difference, and in your defence DM got the 'stunned' condition wrong.
If I had Cure Light Wounds prepped i'd get you back up on your feet, but i'll get you up to -1 or so with Goodberries., will have to hope Tapestry spontaneously cures lol.

Aventi D´Gaudon |

Well, my character is kinda of avarage man in our party, kind of like "jack-of-all-trades"... monk trying to be bard... lols, but when looking at skills etc, I am 2nd in almost every skill etc position. Then, seems like my character is having a quite clear line to be our party scout, finder or something, so considering something like ranger / rogue but... going out from my char concept so will see. Otherwise, after this "1st death" experience, Avanti will be careful or at least will approach little bit more carefully things.
About cure is not a problem, I can wait for Tapestry to cure, since at least not getting worse for now. Most likely I just need to find some way to overcome my weakness at this moment (AC and HP) and thinking a way for this.

DM Aron Marczylo |

Krenn's swing misses Giggles and as he laughs a creature appears from nowhere. Giggles turns to face this Hawk and the last thing he sees is the talons of the hawk lunging straight into his remaining eye, tearing it out, making him scream as he fell to the floor only twitches showing that he was certainly dead.
A young child walks over to the man with a knife in hand, whispering something to him, but he shrugs the boy off who dissappears into the crowd of children as the man aims his wand at Tapestry.
"I remember you, you harlot!" he began to smurk with a nasty grin on his face. "I, Yargin Balco, will bring you to Lamm." His clothing appears to be very tacky. His clothing is upperclass, however it's very out of fashion and appears that only someone who can't afford the newest fashion or just has a tacky sense of style would have.
You recognise Yargin as Gaedren's right-hand man and longest living companion. He deals with the finances and putting on the legal front of places like this fishery. You remember him due to his facination with acids and when you began to break out of the power grasp he punished you by throwing a vial of acid at you. He did the same to other kids who spoke out of line.
The child that spoke to him is not a child, but a Gnome dressed in rags to appear to be a Orphan and he didn't quite dissappear into the crowd, he's still nearby brandishing his Kukri.
1d20 + 2 ⇒ (9) + 2 = 11
1d20 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 1 = 9
Order:
Giggles (Deceased)
Tapesty
Althon Skyven
Child???
Yargin Balco
Avanti D'Gaudon
Curnach Daveck
Krenn Whetstone
Bloo (dog)

Tapestry |

Avanti is still lying on floor, unconscious.
I did not know that! The last DM description was of the flail hitting Aventi in the chest, but there was no indication that he'd fallen from it... Okay then...
Pointing at Balco, Tapestry calls out,
'Someone gut this acid-throwing, pen-pushing, loser please - I have more important things to do.'
1d8 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3
Ah well, he's probably safer when he's unconcious anyway... ;)
So - is Giggle's dead or will I heal him too if I start channeling positive energy next round?

nope he's dead Jim. Torn out his eye and slashed his throat, finishing him off. -16 hitpoints I have here. Half-orc feroicity was keeping him up only for 1 more round but the hawk sorted him out.
Not to mention, he said a few posts back he was on -3 then stabalised at -4 by Curnach.

Curnach Daveck |

Half-orc feroicity was keeping him up only for 1 more round but the EAGLE sorted him out.
Fixed that for you ;)
Perception Roll-
1d20 + 9 ⇒ (14) + 9 = 23
Free Action to Speak.
That's no child... Thats a Gnome. Don't hold back.

DM Aron Marczylo |

Yargin doesn't expect it as the man runs up and strikes him hard with the sword, spoiling his clothing and he cried out, taking a full withdrawl and running away hoping to escape.
"Hookshanks! Warn Lamm, quickly!" he calls out, panic stricken and heading out the door and entering A4.
1d20 + 0 ⇒ (20) + 0 = 20
1d3 ⇒ 2
1d20 + 0 ⇒ (5) + 0 = 5
1d3 ⇒ 1
The Gnome attacks Althon, stabbing towards him with the blade and for a moment it looked like it was going to be a mortal wound, but the armour was too thick for the blade to get in deep enough.
Krenn's turn first, then Bloo and then it'll be the end of the round.

DM Aron Marczylo |

The mangy dog known as "Bloo" attempts to take a chunk out of Althon, jumping up to take a bite, however he completely misses as and bites onto the armour, yet fails to sing his teeth in deep enough to actually do anything.
1d20 + 2 ⇒ (9) + 2 = 11
1d4 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5
Round 5
Order:
Tapesty
Althon Skyven
Gnome
Yargin Balco
Avanti D'Gaudon
Curnach Daveck
Krenn Whetstone
Bloo (dog)
The kids also seem too afraid to act with the Dog nearby. The dog has nasty yellow-looking fangs and putrid breath coming out of it's mouth. It even has molted fur and appears to be in a disgusting state. Animals on the street look in better condition.

Tapestry |

"Why certainly..me lady"
Tapestry grins and winks at one of the young girls nearby,
'That Althon,' she says with a wistful sigh, 'he's such a handsome hero!'
1d6 ⇒ 2

Curnach Daveck |

DM started the round before I took my action, so...
Round 4 Action
Curnach hurls a blast of fire at the dog. If it drops the dog, he'll begin to give chase and follow Yargin.
1d20 + 2 ⇒ (14) + 2 = 16
1d6 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4
Please don't start Round 6 until I get my Round 5 post in.

The dog was badly singed, letting off the smell of burnt fur, but remains standing and growling viciously, however it looks in a worse position if that were possible.
Quote:"Why certainly..me lady"Tapestry grins and winks at one of the young girls nearby,
'That Althon,' she says with a wistful sigh, 'he's such a handsome hero!'
** spoiler omitted **
From what you can tell Yargin has totally dissappeared. After getting a hit like that you feel that the coward wouldn't be anywhere near Althon. There are only about four girls and the majority appear to be boys.

Aventi D´Gaudon |

Aventi´s eyes begin to blink and his eyes open wide while he start to gasping. hhhhhaaa....hhhhaaa..hhhaa....... surely I knew I would die someday and during a fight but like that... ugh, I though I saw someone smmiling to me
Avanti will get up from prone position, still confused from moment ago and takes defensive stance & ready action against incoming attacks

Curnach Daveck |

Round 5 Action
If the dog or the Gnome are still standing, Curnach will 5 foot step away if he is in melee, and blast at one of them with another ball of fire.
1d20 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6
1d6 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7
If neither are still standing, Curnach moves over to Aventi and hands him three berries. He will do this if combat ends as well.
Eat. he will simply say.
Curnach passes three of the berries. Each restores 1HP.

DM Aron Marczylo |

Althon's strike took off the dog's head, leaving it dead on the floor and the kids once again rejoice at this, Ready to join in the combat. the Gnome grits his teeth as he takes another stab at Althon, however he completely misses and begins to look a little scared after being unable to hit him and having the dog's head removed.
1d20 + 0 ⇒ (5) + 0 = 5
You're blocking the way standing ther Althon so I assume you move after the attack?

Round 6
Order:
Tapesty
Althon Skyven
Gnome
Yargin Balco
Avanti D'Gaudon
Curnach Daveck
Krenn Whetstone
Gnome has the shurkin imbedded into it's shoulder and groans in pain. He looks where Yagin ran to nervously.

Tapestry |

Hmmm... a healing burst would help the gnome too, so...
'Get him, boys!'

DM Aron Marczylo |

** spoiler omitted **
And with that, you stab give him a horrible slash across the chest, revealing the armour beneith and having cut into it.
The Gnome takes another swing at you with his weapon but he misses completely.
The shukin from Avanti was the final hit that took him down and he begins to bleed out. You hear some yelling in the distance
"Stupid kids! Leave me alone!"

DM Aron Marczylo |

Round 6
Curnach will take a run action towards the voices, unless a single move is sufficient to get line of sight.
Full round action will get you to A6, where the voice is coming from.
You see Yargin struggling with the door that leads onto the walkway, fighting against the kids who have knocked him down to the floor, punching him with Yargin crying out for help.

DM Aron Marczylo |

Since we've been waiting here a few days I'm going to take Krenn's action for him.
Krenn charges on forward after Curnach as he doesn't want any of the bastards in this place to escape and ends up a few feet away from the door where Curnach is due to his own slow dwarf speed.
Round 7
Tapesty
Althon Skyven
Gnome
Yargin Balco
Avanti D'Gaudon
Curnach Daveck
Krenn Whetstone
Everyone but Yargin is indisposed of and the majority of the kids are looking for a way out of this place in hopes of escaping this terrible place.

Tapestry |

Standing on tip-toes, Tapestry leans over to plant a kiss on Althon's cheek,
'Hail the mighty gnome-slayer!' she teases, then heads after young Curnach...
