I believe where I moved Kynes is legal. 3 squares movement for each diagonal through difficult terrain. From current position, can Kynes reach Glorio?
@Talfryn: I ran a quick and dirty calculation before I posted. Now, I realize that the wall blocks line of effect, which means you're right, and magic missile wouldn't work here. Thankfully Kynes takes no damage regardless!
@Kynes: there's no longer difficult terrain. Despite the foliage, the only source of difficult terrain was the web, which Garvid sundered.

@Li, on sniping:
I forgot about your Stealthy Sniper talent. We decided they should stack, so the penalty is actually 0. Pretty cool!
If you’ve already successfully used Stealth at least 10 feet from your target, you can make one ranged attack and then immediately use Stealth again. You take a –20 penalty on your Stealth check to maintain your obscured location.
Action
Usually none. Normally, you make a Stealth check as part of movement, so it doesn’t take a separate action. However, using Stealth immediately after a ranged attack (see Sniping, above) is a move action.
So when sniping you can initially stealth as a non-action, make one ranged attack, then immediately use stealth as a move action. This means one attack per round when using this tactic.
I think that's how it's supposed to work...
@Wicked: Thanks very much for that summary! I've favorited it so I have it for future reference :) However, I totally messed up Li's turn so I apologize because she took two attacks when she shouldn't have. Not that it made any difference since neither hit but still...sorry.
That's perfectly okay. I just considered the first roll for the attack. Unfortunately his AC is really high.

Kynes should have held back a bit from the last fight for this one.
BTW I forgot about Glorio's SR. No big deal, but future spells against him will need a caster level check to overcome it.

We have a definite numbers advantage here.
If we all aid another Garvid (who has +25 with the flank) to Grapple, and afterwards pin him, Mouse can use her Pummeling Style to knock him out with a single blow. Or two single blows, as he'll lose his Dex to AC. Garvid might get shanked a couple of times, but he's used to it.
With Neolandus, Yazi, Talfryn, Mouse, Li, Vencarlo and Kynes, that's +12 just about assured on the aid another check, for the enviable total of +37.
Just hoping he doesn't have freedom of movement. Let's dogpile the cat.

Kynes is a fairly good tripper. Would the -4 while prone help a grapple?
Also, I forgot to add flank bonus to my combat rolls. Probably won't matter though.
Which door is Meliya at? The one leading to D1? Do we assume that north is up?
She ran out the northeast door. Yes north is up.
Pugwampi's grace is a solid spell. Combined with Yazi's evil eye and Kynes's sickening strike, Glorio has been taken down a notch or two...

Should destroy a masterwork light blade and break a +1 one, but not a +2.
Talfrn's Haste Spell: Kynes is under Channel Vigor with the Limb effect...which is essentially haste. But I would guess it does not stack with an actual haste spell.
So Kynes would like to spend a move action to change the effect to the spirit option: i.e. Gain a +6 competence bonus on Will saving throws and Bluff and Intimidate checks.
Perhaps she turned invisible? If so, the masks of the Mantis might help with its ability to cast see invisibility

Kynes, Zenobia Zenderholm did indeed disappear, but the press reported on her reappearance and return to work during the height of the plague .

No need to rationalize - this is the home of the enemy, we are Korvoso's current best hope, and anything we can take to boost our abilities serves the greater good. We can even agree to hand everything over to the city once the threat is passed.
Kynes already mentioned that his order expects him to investigate evidence for additional crimes, crime networks, and to secure resources relevant to his work.
Its just that Vencarlo was in a hurry :)

I was doing the work-from-home thing last week too while I had some mild flu-like symptoms. It was kind of nice for a short time, but I didn't like being cooped up in my apartment that long.

They've just announced (literally, 20 minutes ago), that all the classes I teach are moving online this week. If last week was busy, I expect the coming week to be worse as I learn the software and adapt the lectures. I hope to still be around, but want to give a heads up.

This is happening to all my professor pals as well. Also, all my research studies have been halted for participant safety. And my kids are not home with me for at least a month. And I ran out of chili garlic sauce and am not sure if I should go buy a case from the grocery store.
Make sure that when you go buy that case of chili garlic sauce that you also buy 6 cases of toilet paper and push some little old ladies out of the way to get to the hand sanitizer because that's the world we're living in now :P
