Since I lump initiative together, that'll be fun :P

Lurkin!

So just outa curiosity, how close is everyone to being done and ready?

Female Human 4 Oracle (Seer)

I should be done tonight.

|Init:+3|Dark-vision:60ft|Perception:+4|AC :17,touch:13,flat-footed:14|Fort:+3,Ref:+5,Will:+5|Resist:acid 5,cold:5,electricity:5|

Pretty sure Sunset is ready to rumble. :)

I can be ready in a couple days. I think I'd like to start RPing meeting in Torch (or wherever it is we meet). Is that the plan?

Was gonna start you guys off at Aldronard's Grave, but Torch works too. When everyone is done I'll get that set up, so let me know when each of you is finished.

THP: 1/6; HP 43/43; NL 4; AC 18, t 12, ff 16; Fort +9/Ref +7/Will +3; CMD 18; Perception +7

I just started a long vacation for Chinese New Year, so I'm off until the 17th. I'll finish up Gaius either today or tomorrow. Still debating exactly what to do with his build.

THP: 1/6; HP 43/43; NL 4; AC 18, t 12, ff 16; Fort +9/Ref +7/Will +3; CMD 18; Perception +7

Lurking until I get bored if anyone is around...

|Init:+3|Dark-vision:60ft|Perception:+4|AC :17,touch:13,flat-footed:14|Fort:+3,Ref:+5,Will:+5|Resist:acid 5,cold:5,electricity:5|

Popping in.

THP: 1/6; HP 43/43; NL 4; AC 18, t 12, ff 16; Fort +9/Ref +7/Will +3; CMD 18; Perception +7

Okay, I should be ready to go.

I just have one question. Crusty, for my ABP weapon attunement, can I choose my kinetic blast? That's the only weapon I plan on using.

Female Human 4 Oracle (Seer)

All right, Scholar is done, I think! Looking forward to playing with everyone, but it is time for me to head to bed.

And yeah, the -6 initiative will be...interesting. This is the only character I've ever made likely to lose an initiative contest with an ooze. It improves some at levels 5 and 10, though, so hopefully I won't drag the party down too much forever.

Lurkin', just got home from work.

Sore as hell though

Putting my girl to bed. Will try to get on with you in a bit though. I have some Qs / ideas to run past you

Trying to lurk, but my internet is being crap.

Yeah...my internet is failing too much to lurk right now. Talk to you all later.

|Init:+3|Dark-vision:60ft|Perception:+4|AC :17,touch:13,flat-footed:14|Fort:+3,Ref:+5,Will:+5|Resist:acid 5,cold:5,electricity:5|

Just a larakin a lurkin'. :)

...and of course I feel asleep with my daughter so never showed up. Later today then. Probably a bit after 4pm Pacific.

@Sunset:
Where is the Hackbut located? I see no such item anywhere in the firearms section. Is it that you simply halved the double hackbut in capacity/cost?

If so, let me know next time before you do that, as thats a non-standard weapon that requires a DM's permission. In addition, do note that a single-hackbut would still require the carriage; although I'll allow you being prone to offset the -4 penalty to attack (kneeling does not however)

Secondly, you do not get to add the Rich parent's starting gold to your starting gold; thats for 1st level only and is included in your 6,000 gp since you are an experienced adventurer.

Thirdly, pistols have a range increment of 20 ft, not 10; and you never mentioned what spell your magical lineage trait. I'm assuming its Shocking Grasp, yes?

Lastly, what is the Wayang Spell Hunter from? I can't find it anywhere.

Lurkin'

Lurking while I post and update games.

|Init:+3|Dark-vision:60ft|Perception:+4|AC :17,touch:13,flat-footed:14|Fort:+3,Ref:+5,Will:+5|Resist:acid 5,cold:5,electricity:5|

For DM:

Sorry a bout things.

So, yes... a 'standard' Hackbut is a double barreled weapon. Since there are both single barrel and double barrel pistols, rifles and shot guns I did not think 'paring down' a double barrel weapon would be odious/beyond the pail.

As for the 'style' of shooting? Yes, that's an extrapolation above my clearance and I apologize.

"Wayang Spell Hunter' appears in "Dragon Empires Primer". I've.. honestly been using "HeroLab" and trusting its 'acceptance' messages. (>_>)

Ah, okay... poor Sunset is slightly poorer. Adjusted *Bows*

Still being a bit of a larrakin, it would seem. (>_>)

Hey Crusty. I'm considering taking a level of Cavalier (beastrider, order of the beast(acg)). Wondering if you're doing standard or fractional base bonuses?

Scholar, I'm wondering if (a) you'd be open to having met on the road to Torch, and getting to know one another...and (b) if you'd be open to discounted pre-game crafting of non-magic, skymetal weapon/armor/barding? Story-wise, I think Scholar's ability to make sense of this strange land would be a big comfort to Small Tarl (who has spent little time outside of his tribal home in the dino-jungles hidden in the realm of the mammoth lords)...and perhaps Tarl and his spino would be welcome muscle on the road into town. You could even have told him that he can trade his gems for skymetal that can be worked into armor and weapons to help him defeat the metal monsters that disturb his dreams.

Heck, happy to RP those parts at the beginning of the game as well...just thinking of suiting up before going out...and I don't think we'll get the chance to craft with skymetals again for some time.

Female Human 4 Oracle (Seer)

I would be open to both of those suggestions, although the crafting is somewhat time dependent. Scholar would most definitely have welcomed your company on the road, as she is only passable as a warrior even when fully magically enhanced, but can make you and especially Raksasa terrifying. She also would absolutely love to learn more about the realms of the mammoth lords. She has never been that far north, although she has traveled quite a bit, most of it has been to the south.

She would be willing to smith skymetal if it doesn't take too long (she's willing to smith something for a few weeks, but not years, which is partially why she doesn't have a mithril breastplate). Not sure exactly if there are any accelerated crafting rules for Torch; normally, Adamantine takes a long, long time to forge.

Ahhh, I think Crusty house-ruled it to be reasonable (in which case you could presumably make your own breastplate mithral). I forgot that RAW it takes years. I think he said it brought it to the same or slightly longer than the time to craft with iron...but he can correct me.

Female Human 4 Oracle (Seer)

That would be nice, crafting exotic materials stuff takes forever otherwise. I was kind of wondering if Torch had a bonus for doing that; they mention in the player's guide that smiths come from all over to use the flame to work adamantine, and I could totally see that being something smiths would travel long distances for if it sped up construction to the same speed as a normal steel item or something.

|Init:+3|Dark-vision:60ft|Perception:+4|AC :17,touch:13,flat-footed:14|Fort:+3,Ref:+5,Will:+5|Resist:acid 5,cold:5,electricity:5|

Lookin' forwards to 'mosey-ing' with all you folks. ;)

Also, given the DM's comment about where the party is going to end up... We can craft there, right?

I mean... it's a place of nothing but junk (By the description so far)... from which we can work out bits of useful stuff and bang at them until they get into the right, new shape, right?

It will be difficult without a forge, but possibly.

You'll have to see it first.

|Init:+3|Dark-vision:60ft|Perception:+4|AC :17,touch:13,flat-footed:14|Fort:+3,Ref:+5,Will:+5|Resist:acid 5,cold:5,electricity:5|

*Nods*

*Looks though 'Ultimate Equipment' to see how much.. or even IF such a thing as a 'Portable forge' exists...*

(~_^)

Wishing every one all the very best.

As mentioned to Gyr on roll20, we're gonna give Fractional Base Bonuses a shot.

OK, I got a second wind and have his crunch pretty much in order. There may be one or two tweaks (or errors) but it's ready to review.

BTW, we discussed the ability to craft skymetal in less-than-years on roll20 and Crusty's decided: not possible at our level, so we should assume we pay full value for skymetal weapons/armor.

Cheers!

Alright so I think we're all juuuust about done if not done, so I'm gonna review everyone's characters tomorrow and possibly get this thing started!

For now though, sleep!

@Groog:
You still list your +1 deflection bonus to AC. In addition, you haven't added your +1 to Armor from having an attuned suit of armor. End result is the same (except touch AC which is one lower), but so we don't get confused later, if you could change it that would be great.

Your resistances are also off - it seems you added a +1 to will, but not to fort and reflex. You should have 7/4/-1 instead of 6/3/-1.

I don't see any other issues right now.

Going over everyone's character so we can get started soon! Hopefully I'll be able to start the campaign after work tonight.

@Isabel:
Could you enlighten me how you got your stats with a point-buy of 15? I don't see how it works.

I'm really not fond of allowing Wayang Spellhunter and Magical Lineage to stack. Just seems like its begging for cheese to happen. I love my cheese in the real world, not in pathfinder.

That being said, since you're not trying to make it a cantrip (as some people on the forums tried to do), I'll allow it - just know that I really really really don't feel bad for the changes I've made to the campaign with this power level I'm seeing ;)

Hey Crusty, here's the doc where I built up Small Tarl. It has a few notes in it to show my calculations. Might be helpful to review.

https://docs.google.com/document/d/1V_L_m-ffIs88m7doZJ03Dsf0KbURwbPsVJLXqyh MyWQ/edit?usp=docslist_api

I already reviewed Small Tarl and didn't see any problems - though I'm assuming that your gear is just written in to remind you that you have a +1 to all resistances, not that you actually BOUGHT a cloak of resist or +1 armor/weapon, right?

Barbarian 8| HP: 85/85|DR: 1/- | AC: 19 (FF: 17, Touch: 12) | Fort: +11, Ref: +5, Will: +1 | Per: +8 | Init: +4

Changes made.

Right. Cool. I'll add a loot/gear spreadsheet link to my profile. I like having one of those for myself anyway.

@Gaius: Looks good!

@Scholar: Whats your mystery? I don't see it or your curse (even if I know what the curse is) anywhere. Other than that, looks good!

Thron and I are lurking, I'm gonna get a scene set up while we wait for everyone to finish.

|Init:+3|Dark-vision:60ft|Perception:+4|AC :17,touch:13,flat-footed:14|Fort:+3,Ref:+5,Will:+5|Resist:acid 5,cold:5,electricity:5|

This character is okay now, DM?

Still using a 24 or so point build as far as I can tell Sunset.

..for some reason I called you Isabel earlier, I don't know why.

|Init:+3|Dark-vision:60ft|Perception:+4|AC :17,touch:13,flat-footed:14|Fort:+3,Ref:+5,Will:+5|Resist:acid 5,cold:5,electricity:5|

That's okay with crossing names. :)

Nope...um.. this Sunset is a 20 point build.

Were we using a 15 pointer set?

Much cheers to all.

Yep. We're 15pt for this game.

|Init:+3|Dark-vision:60ft|Perception:+4|AC :17,touch:13,flat-footed:14|Fort:+3,Ref:+5,Will:+5|Resist:acid 5,cold:5,electricity:5|

Eeep!

Sorry! Sorry! Sorry!

WIll adjust when I have time (IN about eight hours or so)

Again, very sorry!

Female Human 4 Oracle (Seer)

Ok! Scholar's Mystery and Curse have been added (not sure how I missed writing those down) along with a bit more info about the revelations and the effects of the Curse.

I should be ready to go, I think.

|Init:+3|Dark-vision:60ft|Perception:+4|AC :17,touch:13,flat-footed:14|Fort:+3,Ref:+5,Will:+5|Resist:acid 5,cold:5,electricity:5|

Okay... editing done... I think (hope?) I got every thing right?

(>_>)

Heh, got my 'Home game' HeroLab folder mixed up with the 'DM Crustypeanut' HeroLab folder. ^^'

Sunset, do you have gear that increases your stats? I'm sick right now so it may be my addled brain but you still look like you're over 15 to me.

I'm assuming:
Str 2=12
Dex 7=15+2 aasimar
Con 2=12
Int 1=11
Wis 0=10
Cha 7=15+2 aasimar +1 level

==19 pts. Did I miss something?

|Init:+3|Dark-vision:60ft|Perception:+4|AC :17,touch:13,flat-footed:14|Fort:+3,Ref:+5,Will:+5|Resist:acid 5,cold:5,electricity:5|

Um... I think there's an extra Aasimar bonus in there for a +2 to Cha?

I... generally trust HeroLab?

HeroLab shows point/buy values of,

Str(12) = 2 (Base value12)
Dex(17) = 7 (Base value15)
Con(12) = 2 (Base value12)
Int(11) = 1 (Base value01)
Wis(10) = 0 (Base value00)
Cha(17) = 3 (Base value13)

Other than e-mailing you a copy of the .por file?

HeroLab is not giving me any '!' messages?

Terribly sorry to hear you're not feeling well. :(

*Hugz* Wishing you and yours all the very best.

Ahhh, so you're taking the alternate +2 to CHA aasimar bonus, for a total of +4 to CHA? That would explain it, assuming Crusty allows choosing the extra stat bonuses from that table.

Thanks for the well wishes! I think a good night's sleep will do me wonders.

Peace!
