Hajoth Hakados information up in the campaign tab. Much bigger town than Torch for certain! Let me know what you guys are up to either before you leave Torch or after. Torch is unique in that its the best place in Numeria (besides Starfall) to smelt skymetals; Hajoth Hakados, however, has a better selection of everything else.

IN ADDITION

Once everyone is done with their gear purchases (Although we haven't gotten to Hajoth Hakados in-game yet, assume you can purchase your stuff there or Torch and do it ahead of time), please tell me as much and say in big bold letters GEAR DONE.

Once each person has done that, I'm going to record their gear, money, etc in the Gear Tracker so I can keep track of encumbrance, supplies, and who has what.

I'm also going to make a few adjustments to the gear tracker here soon.

I will pester the ever-living s@@@ out of anyone who doesn't have a complete set of their gear listed on their char sheet (or separate sheet in the case of Gyr). This is for my benefit as a DM to keep track of things when you guys seem to forget stuff. Pluusss I might be able to use it for things like area-of-effect damage possibly damaging your gear. I'm not going to be using this for THIS campaign, but I want to design a thorough system for another campaign.

We will not be proceeding with gameplay until everyone has done this.

Hurmm. Trying to decide if a +1 inferno pistol is worth the 3500 GP for Hoots. On the plus side:
- deals fire damage, so I can switch to it vs things with hardness or DR/slashing
- It's +1 so also damages folks with DR/magic
- range increment: 30' instead of my current 20'
- no misfire chance vs my current 10% chance

Cons:
- I'm paying 3500 gp for something that doesn't hit any harder (DPR of 1d6+1 == my current pepperbox DPR of 1d8)...and in fact is has only a x2 crit vs my current x4
- I could use that money for, e.g. a DEX belt, giving me +1 to hit, AC, init...and at next level, damage, for the same price.
- Ammo: get 10 shots from every nanite canister. assuming we always find them (so only pay resale value=250) each shot costs me 25gp

Alternative:
- I can make adamantine bullets for 61gp /10 = 6.1 *0.9 after materials discount = 5.5gp each ...now that the torch is back up and running.

That seems like a *much* better deal...in fact I'm 90% convinced it's the right choice...but if anyone sees something I'm missing, please chime in!

Fire damage is reduced by hardness. It DOES bypass all forms of DR though. DR/Adamantine, DR/Epic (not that you'd see that), DR/Evil, etc.

I kinda wish they gave her a standard laser pistol, because the Inferno Pistol is certainly 'meh'. Plus nanite charges are expensive.

If we were level 6 I'd recommend a quick runner's shirt, but you don't have two attacks to benefit from the pseudo-pounce. Hoots, as to the fire pistol thing, chuck it in the bin, it's a pretty meh weapon.

Not just a cleric, but a Cleric of Brigh, Goddess of Invention and Clockwork! Her faith I think is strongest here in Numeria and Alkenstar. Interesting goddess, they have an article on her in the Lords of Rust book.
