I'll post the shortened version of the thing I sent Clebsch (reading over the pages/applications I missed, I probably sent way more info than I needed to, hahaha.)
Appearance
Personality:
I filled out this quick reference personality sheet to give a fast overview. Some other themes:
Loneliness/Low Self-Esteem - Naali grew up unpopular as a child because she was different, and has always worked very hard to gain the praise of others. She always carries board games with her, because as a child, it was the only way to make the other children interact with her.
It also shaped her religious views, driving her towards Sarenrae, who seemed to accept anyone who was a good person, regardless of background or appearance.
She is quick to accept others, and sometimes too trusting.
Hard Worker - Naali works very hard so she can be the best at what she does. Sometimes her drive to achieve puts her in dangerous situations, as she sometimes overestimates herself.
Short Bio:
Naali grew up with her mother in the city of Egede in Mendev. Her human mother, Almorra, was an herbalist in the city, running a small shop that she founded soon after Naali's birth. Naali's demonic ancestry was immediately apparent when she was born, and her mother wanted to keep her safe in a hometown where people would understand and be accepting. Naali grew up in the shop, learning about the herbs and mixtures, and eventually helping her mother run the day to day operations. She spent many years like this, as her mother grew older and she stayed looking the same. Eventually Almorra passed peacefully in her sleep, but other inhabitants of the city became less friendly towards Naali on her own. They resented her looking the same as she had 30 years ago, and the shop started doing badly. Naali eventually sold the property, donating almost all of the proceeds to an orphanage, before embarking on a life of travel.
Naali was drawn towards Kenabres and the Worldwound, especially upon learning of the rarer herbs that grew readily in the region, where most were too afraid to look for them. Unfortunately, her bravery was a bit more than she could handle, and soon she found herself stuck in a ruin with cultists camping outside. Luckily, and to her surprise, a mysterious woman came to her rescue, helping Naali sneak by and distract the cultists and protected her until she was found by a patrol of crusaders. Since then, Naali has remembered the beautiful woman fondly, and most recently had unofficially pledged herself to the crusade in whatever way she could, hoping to see the woman again. She found herself in Kenabres, learning more about combat and the Worldwound, training to take part in the war effort.
Character tie ins are neat. Naali would have been in Kenabres since a bit before the 'Chance Encounter' trait. I don't know how long ago that could have been, and tieflings live a long time, so it wouldn't be ridiculous if she's been there for several years by now. I'm sure there's some reason she'd meet others.
Edit: Oh geez, top of the page. *Hyperventilating*

Just read your background Karas. A very interesting and well written story. Very well done. I enjoyed reading it. I wish you good luck in the recruitment!
Thank you! I very much enjoyed writing it even after the original was eaten by the forums lol. I was worried it wasn't as good but it's really reaffirming to hear a compliment! :)
Velkaria is very well written too! Quite the personality.

You're welcome and thank you! I enjoyed how you did your homework on the Worldwound lore as children born so close to it would most certainly be exposed to planar energies. And also a very interesting way to introduce the silver dragon Terendelev not to mention creating a connection between your character and her.
I had to do my homework on not only tielfing's but also Shelyn, Jalmeray, and rakshasa, figuring out how a divine goddess give birth to a tiefling. And I enjoyed designing her personality too.
I was a bit nervous myself actually as I was worried that I went overboard! But it's good to hear that you liked her! Thank you!

All right, so some new characters to enter into the possible mix. I'm going to be working for most of the day after I post this, but the cut-off for new characters is still noon (EST US). I may not have any announcements to make until Wednesday morning, so don't hold your breath the rest of today. Thanks for the feedback and enjoy possible backstory collaboration. Even if one of the characters you connect with does not get selected and your character does, it will help give you more connection to the game world. I might work some things into the story, but saying more than that would be to give out spoilers.

Just so you know, my work schedule shifts every five weeks. Currently, I'm just starting 5 weeks of working from about the middle of the afternoon to late evening on Monday through Thursday. Then it will be back to a day shift schedule working from about 7 AM to the middle of the afternoon, M-Th. It's not a full time gig, so I usually have lots of time to post in the hours I'm not working. I'm not prone to large amounts of overtime or other irregularities so I should be pretty consistent despite such a shifting schedule. I'll keep you posted as things go from night to day.

Real life has been extra busy this past 24 hours, so I've made no progress on the selection. Looks like it will be 24 to 48 hours before I'll have news. Sorry for the delay.
Well, that's a downer but understandable.
I'm thinking you haven't discarded anyone yet or made a short list, right?

A Jester's tale while we wait:
"Upon a cave were three men,
who sought glory, gold and fame.
The first a strong proud Kelish man,
A Knight of Everflame.
Second a vogueish, rogueish sort,
who stole for fun, for glee.
A halfling man with half a mind
to take from you or me.
Last a man a day from death,
this wiz was one so wise.
His life had but a few breathes left,
till he chokes and croaks and dies.
The Paladin of Sarenrae
charged in with a yell.
But to the holy man's dismay,
He tripped, he slipped he fell.
And a paladin, when they fall,
must pray, redeem, atone.
He threw himself onto his knees,
in prayer upon the stone.
The tiny little halfling knave,
who always acted bright,
walked cautiously into the cave
after he lit his light.
And a torch in hand the man did see
a laid out iron strand.
This wire we must all agree,
tripped the man from Lands of Sand.
The wise old wizard wandered in,
senile in his age.
He gave the rogue the widest grin,
'Nothing cantrip a mage.'"
Wealth: 4d6 ⇒ (3, 2, 1, 6) = 12*10 = 120

I hate to say it, but I'm going to withdraw from this recruitment. Though it's full of awesome, energetic people... Well, my confidence that I could stomach that much Pathfinder is waning, and it would be a real shame to get burned out partway through by the same issues that drove me away from the system in the first place, especially when there are so many awesome people wanting a spot. So count me out, and I hope you all have fun. :)

It has been an unusually busy week, sorry to say, so I'm just now settling down to consider pros and cons. [I'm a teacher and this is the first week of a new term and I've had to develop some new assignments, which takes hours of time that I'd usually have for role play.] I'll try to have a decision as soon as possible. Thanks for being patient.

Is this part of the test? Are you testing our patience and commitment? :)
Seriously though, what's your best guess on 'as soon as possible'?
Game on!

I know how you feel - I'm working 9 to 10 hour days with an hour plus commute on either end of it. Oh, and my work computer system blocks the boards so no posting for me during the day =(
Good think my wife goes to bed early and I get a couple of hours to be online each night!!
Besides, anticipation makes it that much more interesting! =)
Now excuse me while I go attend to a few matters - my patron is calling and he is not patient...

Drum roll. The following characters are invited to post on the discussion board in preparation for starting the adventure path as soon as characters are ready to go. It was a difficult choice with many good characters and players left out. Best wishes to those who did not make it and keep an eye out for a PM, in case one of my first choices drops out. I'll invite another character to fill the hole if it happens early enough in the campaign.

I want to thank all the players who posted for your interest, your comments, your enthusiasm, and your spirit of adventure. May you always make your saving throw!

I have been enjoying moderating a really great group of players for 8 years and through two and a half of the six books of the Wrath of the Righteous PF adventure path. At present, however, I'm feeling burned out and need a break from being the GM of this game.
I don't want things to end here, however, so I'm hoping someone with GM experience might be willing to step in and take over the GM chores.
Two of the players have been with the game since the beginning. We lost four a while back, but recruited two new players to keep things going.
Post here if you might be interested. I'll give you a full explanation of where things stand. Thank you for considering this.

Liliyashanina |

Hi, I am currently GMing wotr, we are about to attack the grey garrison, albeit things are considerably modded and it could be called wrath of the morally flexible at best
I do not have act 3 post taken Drezen quite a prepared, and its traditionally where one can start to go ham with individual player character sidequests, so I will need some prep, make an overall plotplan etc. .
I do have a bunch of things ready for act 4 though.

The following post is almost completely tongue-in-cheek, a ridiculous exaggeration, and 'tormenting' Liliyashanina. :) Except the die roller part; that thing is killin' me.
As a player at Liliyashanina's table of WotMF (an apt acronym if ever there was one) I can attest they are mean, cruel, they've cursed the die roller against my PC, they punched me in the onions, constantly get my PC's name wrong, and made fun of my clothes. I mean the clothes, that's just savage. :(
All kidding aside they're a blast to be at a table with and your players will be in good hands.

Sounds great. This game is considerably further along, so make sure you're willing to get up to speed on the stuff between book 1 and 3. I can tell you that it can be challenging keeping track of the PC abilities when they are 10th level with 3 or 4 mythic levels. But I think this is where things get really fun for the players, having all that ability to unleash on ultra-evil forces.
I'd suggest skimming through the Gameplay thread. The group is in Book 3 (Demon's Heresy), ready to start Part 3 (The Demon's Redoubt). To speed the game along, I've been just running the sections that involve the individual quests related to the campaign traits. They'll play through the last two parts, however. Players just leveled up to 10th.
Let me know what I can provide. If you are interested in assuming the GM duties, I'll ask my players to peruse your other campaign, in case they have any questions or reservations.
