Prodded for instructions on the details of such a ritual shares his vast knowledge on the construction of portals about 5 minutes in and a fter a few lengthy pauses in which you can literally see the Gnome wandering of to the far reaches of his gray matter to restore minuscule details stored there centuries before he begins to scratch his chin.
...however admittedly I have no idea of how this one would work precisely...
The gnome eyes his dumbfounded companions as he is studying the jade figurines. Sensing their irritation Mido turns quickly towards the portal but is tripped up by Nuk's trunk in a high arc the figurines go flying from the Gnome's grasp and shatter on the floor and all of a sudden...

The group gathers into the arcane circle, as Master Mido tries to explain and ultimately figure out how to perform the ritual. As the jade figures escape his grasp they fall to the ground, the figurine of the wolf bounces in the direction of the hollow. While the hare figurine shatters, jade dusts covers the circle, suddenly there is a loud bang and a portal of swirling jade green mist opens where the hallow stands. An instant later, Master Mido is magically pulled through the portal.
In the next instance whirling naginatas swing in from cleverly disguised areas of the ceiling, blocking your path to the portal!
You feel yourself uncontrollably pulled through the portal, apparently only you were forced through as you are alone on the other side.
A veneer of regality struggles to mask the decaying features of this once-opulent court. A fraying carpet leads from the chamber’s arched entrance to a raised marble dais featuring two worn leather chairs. Flanking the dais, a pair of marble statues each depict an imperious samsaran woman. Porcelain jars and ornate boxes adorn alcoves in the north and south walls. In the eastern portion of the room, hundreds of small mirrors are carefully arrayed in a circle on the wall. Together, the mirrors reveal a raging snowstorm.
A beautiful samsaran woman in a flowing silk robe stands before the northern chair, she is attended by four monks.

Mido heaths a heavy sigh as he realizes that his companions were not able to join him on the other side and hopes they will be able to make it swiftly.
Mido quickly decides that with numbers stacked firmly against him and this lady likely commanding considerable mystical power a fight would be his swiftest path to demise. Thus it was time for an extended conversation. The Gnome straightens the folds of his Kimono and bows so deeply that his nose barely touches the ground he holds the pose for many moments before rising.
My Lady! I am deeply honored to finally make your acquaintance. After all I have been through I am somewhat relieved to finally be here. This one goes by the name of Mido.
Mido does not blink and remains calm as a cucumber as he awaits the inevitable monologue.
Doing things as slowly as possible. And Mido is a grey old Gnome he can draw things out :). Is that a lever on the left hand side?

Beauregard manages to grab the wolf figurine just as it is about to slide among the swinging blades. As the blades, swing the portal mists continue to swirl beyond.
The scenario actually doesn't mention what that is.
Indeed Mido, you are brave to come alone. I had hoped for someone taller, but I guess you will do. What of Mata Ryuu did you manage to vanquish him? Is the child still alive?
She pauses a moment to take in your reaction. Then, Oh yes I know who you are.

Sorry if what I'm trying to do is totally unreasonable, I just didn't feel like we had any other way last those blades, as you can tell from the remaining parties acrobatics rolls...I was just trying to come up with something creative, to maybe give us a chance of getting through and saving Mido, if he isn't already dead.

Beauregard leaps in among the whirling blades he attempts to grab hold of them. For a moment it looks like he may get ahold of one. Seeing Bo step in, Elska, Nuk, Giltman, and Sharaheen all rush toward the portal. Elska and Nuk doing the best to dodge the blades, but Beauregard can't quite hold onto the blade and it whirls free, right into their path, as the second blade whirls first past Giltman who is stumbling toward the portal, then towards Bo. Finally the blade swings toward the samsaran girl.

She rises into the air and sheds her robe, revealing that her body is but a floating head trailing a mass of slick viscera. Jujanil laughs and says, So kind of you to bring me a new wardrobe.

A spilt second later Miyako lets loose the arrow of slaying (undead), as she does a small shadowy trail that looks like an leaves her bow and hits Sharaheen. As it does the arrow also hits the visceral of the undead Jujanil.

Bo tumbles through the portal and nearly hurls at the sight of entrail-laden head flying about. He'll then draw out another potion of Enlarge Person.

Move to tumble through, Standard to draw a potion, I imagine I had to drop it to try and catch the blades, I should of specified at the time but didn't think about it till later. I really need a third hand.

Beauregard emerges from the portal, drawing a potion as he arrives.

He emerges somewhat worse for wear, the blades clearly slicing once more as he leaped through.
Jujanil screams from the mist, Attack you fools!
The monks rush forward, into the mist.
Sharaheen begins to glow brightly with a luminate halo. The light in the whole room becomes bright. Strange reflections play over the are surrounded by mists.
Jujanil screams out Noo...it burns.
Shareheen voices suddenly changes, she now sound more liked a well educated man.

Elska inflates the little mammut, increasing Nuk to a large full sized mammut. Nuk charges at one of the monks but his gore is off the mark.
Giltman increases his defenses and charges forward into the mist swinging at the first target he finds.
Within the mist a creature 5 feet away has concealment (attacks have a 20% miss chance). Creatures farther away have total concealment (50% miss chance, and the attacker cannot use sight to locate the target.

Beauregard drinks his potion and moves forward.

It may just be the mist and strange light but Nuk suddenly thinks he sees three of the Monk in front of him. A flurry of blows assaults the mammut from the 3 monks. The first blow seems decidedly fierce.

Another sort of light, like a protective shield radiates from the samsaran girl.
