Fort save: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (12) + 4 = 16
"Die by fire you vermin!" Sath proclaims as she grabs the centipede that had just bit her...
Fiery touch: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (17) + 5 = 22
Damage: 1d6 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7

Astrianna Sparacello |

Astrianna growls and swats at the insects, their annoying yet dangerous bites causing her to flinch. "Damned fish bait, get off of me!"
Fort saving throw#1: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 1 = 8
Fort saving throw#2: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (9) + 1 = 10
Oh dear.

Darius Rotarion |

Darius is relieved to see the others, but he clearly seems distracted by something. At Henk's question, he nods, "Searched everything behind us. Only things we found was a box and some barrels full of powder."
He grips his head and looks back for Hawk.
"Let's...let's keep looking. We have a job to finish."

So the last centipede is dead?
Astrianna shakes her head as the poison affects her, blinking rapidly a few times. She attempts to close her hand and finds it difficult, but she attempts to ignore the poison. "One of those little ones got me, feels.. strange. We're lucky those were babies, the Mopaka’mu’loa can grow to the size of a a schooner."
She sighs and plucks the arrow out of the deck...

... and finds it to be intact. Stumbling a little as she goes to inspect the bag of pearls, the bard sluggishly raises an eyebrow at them.
Appraise Pearls: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (7) + 6 = 13

Astrianna Sparacello |

Astrianna stares at the pearls for a few moments, turning them over in her fingers to look at the color and grain. She glances at the druid and magus, briefly considering taking them for herself. Heh, pearls before swine. But... The half-elf imagines the look on the captain's face when she shows him these pearls... he will be most pleased, and she still wants an officer's bunk.
"These are some nice pearls, I would love to have some earrings made from them. The captain will be pleased." A brief cast of prestidigitation to clean the bag of blood and grime is followed by carefully slipping it into the extra-dimensional space of her haversack.
"One silver and I'll clean that dino-dump off of you, Sath." She says with a sadistic grin, putting her bow around her neck and retrieving both her sword and crowbar. The half-elf tries to put her crowbar in her sack only to feel a significant force push back. Already? I need to clean this out. She puts the bar of metal in her belt.

Darius Rotarion |

Darius makes his way south through the fog, passing Hawk along the way. "Sir, gonna go clear this portion of this ship before returning top side," he says as he passes him.
__________
Will be moving south and around the bend into the unexplored territory. If I do not encounter anything, I will use a double move to do so.

Astrianna Sparacello |

Astrianna follows along with the group, staying with Henk and Adriel. She notices Thalios for the first time through the fog, and sizes him up. "You're the rescue? What happened to you? Or maybe a better question- What didn't happen to you?"

Darius Rotarion |

"Door, stand back," Darius says to Hawk as he tries the door. If it is locked, or jammed, he will try to force it open. Though, the first shoulder into the door is really just a test of how well it is barricaded...
Sure it was...lol
Strength: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4

Thalios Dondrel, NPC |

"Aye, I am Thalios Dondrel, Son of Mordekai, perhaps you have heard of me. I am a renown lover...many a broken hearts have been left in my wake. But lass you have a look about you....like the angel of luv has speared me heart." With a dazzling flourish he bows and kisses your hand. "Excuse my near nakedness...your companion could barely keep her hands off me." He winks. He has an interesting pendant coin around his neck.

Embrianna |

Astria is more than welcome to Dondrel. With any luck, he will forget all about me..
Bri follows behind Dirk and Darius, though rather grumpily. While she doesn't want to explore the ship anymore, she also doesn't want to be left alone either, so she resigns herself to finding something else completely horrible during the explorations.
"Dirk, you don't have a cat, so why do you keep calling for one?"
I swear, everyone BUT me has gone and lost their marbles.

baldwin the merciful |

The pops open and you can see inside as the fog has not seeped in ...yet.
This long chamber is filled with a thick wooden table, its surface cracked and chipped from decades of wear. Atop the table a few dishes and pieces of crockery lay in disarray, more than a couple of which have smashed to pieces on the floor as well. The stink of rotted food is heavy in the air.
Dirk continues his call for, "Alabaster....here kitty."
And there is reply "Meow." The famished cat leaps into Dirk's arms and nuzzles with him.
You are a bit suspicious now. If anyone knows the cat’s name, they know other things about the ship they aren’t letting on!

baldwin the merciful |

David "Dirk" Hawkins |

Bri right as you finish saying Dirk doesn't have a cat....a cat jumps into his arms.
David strokes the head of the cat on and around its ears with genuine affection, a small smile on his lips. Placing the cat on his shoulders, he absently pets it with his hand as he pauses for a moment to consider his companions.
As he listens to them talk he digests what it is that they said to each other, and about him.
After listening he is now quite confident that his companions do not need him. Therefore, he shrugs and elects to move to the door barring Q:-0 and see what is behind it.
Although there is some semblance of fog seeping into the ship, no amount of obfuscation will obscure from his mind the recollection of doors ahead and their relative position.
Now – as to what is behind the door, that remains to be seen…
If it is locked and we are indeed able to take 10 on Strength Checks, he will do so to open the lock and see what is behind it.

David "Dirk" Hawkins |

"Dirk, you don't have a cat, so why do you keep calling for one?"
As he pets the cat, something seems to clear in his mind and his eyes focus as he strides forward through the now opened door at Q:0 to see what is beyond - the room still empty of fog as it has not had a chance to seep inside it.
"I don't know... I remember things - things I shouldn't... I, I know things... I don't know why..." he says as his eyes suddenly dim again even as he advances through the door, his weapon out.
"Beg pardon, madam - 'tis no time for idle chatter; we've a task assigned us and we'd best be about it quick-smart..."
"Gods! What I wouldn't give for a quiet moment before a starlit sky with naught but the peace of a good smoke from my own pipe," he adds the last, as if recalling happier times.

Darius Rotarion |

Darius eyes Hawk warily, before saying, "Hawk...sir...is there something you should be telling us about the ship? Your cat was here well before us, so you've obviously been here...what aren't you telling us?"

Astrianna Sparacello |

Astrianna is intrigued by the man's suave speaking, and given a proper shower he could be a rather dashing fellow. The bard seems unfazed by his nakedness.
She smiles as he kisses her hand, chuckling softly. "Well Thalios Dondrel, I have not heard of you, but that simply tells me that all the ladies I have met want to keep the secret of the Son of Mordekai to themselves." The bard says with a grin, walking down the hall to follow the others towards the newly discovered mess.
She scoffs at the mention of Embrianna, leaning in to whisper to the man, who definitely needs a shower. "I would be wary of that one, I bet she's been passed around by every sailor from Absalom to Riddleport, and probably carries around every local flavor as well. Lamashtu herself would not take interest in such a foul and, frankly, infested set of nethers."
The half-elf nods matter-of-factly, intent on making sure that hussy does not get the one good-looking man they've met so far, especially after Embrianna planted that ooze in the wet room.
Emerald eyes glance at his amulet. "I see you have one piece of clothing to your name, what is that...?"
Any knowledge roll I an make about the amulet?
Astrianna is ignoring whatever is going on with that loudmouth Dirk, and whatever animals he's decided to adopt. He can talk to them instead.

David "Dirk" Hawkins |

Darius eyes Hawk warily, before saying, "...what aren't you telling us?"
As David moves forward he glances behind at Darius.
"Very likely quite a bit, Number One; if I could recall the particulars, and if it was worth noting, no doubt I would share it with you - but as it stands there is very little that comes to my mind at this time worth mentioning."
As he looks around the newly discovered room he calls back over his shoulder at Darius.
"Rest assured, if I recall something worth noting I shall certainly make it clear to you post-haste," he adds with a dry smile.

Embrianna |

"Well, call me a sea monkey, there is a cat on board. Though obviously not a very good mouser, at least not from judging my the amount of rats on board."
Bri lets the fellows handle getting the door open and will then follow them if they go inside.

baldwin the merciful |

Embrianna |

Bri is rather happy that nothing has jumped out at them from the room yet.
"Well, at least this room doesn't seem too bad." Bri will poke about the kitchen a bit.
perception: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (11) + 6 = 17

Sath Saltblood |

The stairs at R 5-6 were to the upper deck of the ship, correct?
Sath moves over to Bri and pulls her aside to speak with her quietly- "We need to get to the deck and destroy the mast- it's doing something to Dirk and a few of the others- but I fear if we try to get them to come with us, they might become violent- it was when I last mentioned destroying the mast that the damn flying reptile s%!+e on me. Are you with me?"

baldwin the merciful |

The kitchen has an assorted amount of dried and smoked meats, mostly fish, there are some hanging bunches of garlic and basket of onions. The other veggies - most likely peppers - are moldy and rotten. there is broken keg at one end but another tapped keg nearby. Overall this room look pretty undamaged and preserved. This is unlike the bloodstained table that is in the mess hall.

Adriel Mistleaf |

Adriel looks around suspiciously, moving forward to keep Rose and Songbird in sight.
Darius had apparently, not betrayed anyone yet, but tue bard's jealousy of the love sick Embrinna and him was clear for all to see.
He the bard was clearly torn between her own inadequacies as a swordsman amd her natural lust for him. Rose on the other hand had been more than receptive to his advances, so he worried the bard might take her frustration out on his future conquest.....
Again, the Songbird needed saving. For someone who claims to be no damsel in distress, you play the part VERY well.

Embrianna |

Well, at least Sath is saying something sane-ish. I would certainly like to destroy the whole cursed ship anyway, why not start with the mast.
Bri will casually nod her head in agreement with Sath, not wanting to speak to much to alert the crazy ass people in the group.
"Well, certainly nothing in here, which is both good and bad I guess?" Bri shrugs.
Embrianna will head on back out of the kitchen and mess hall. She will go ahead and follow Sath to the stairs and onto the deck when she/he goes.

Astrianna Sparacello |

Profession: Sailor: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 8
Astrianna peers at the amulet, furrowing her brow. She gestures and whispers a spell, staring at the amulet in an attempt to determine if it is magical. "Good luck piece? Hold still a moment, Thalios..."
Astrianna casts detect magic, concentrate on the amulet.
She sighs as Adriel's blabbering momentarily breaks her concentration. "I can play any part, Adriel. You have not seen my craft on stage. I can be anyone, anywhere, anytime. As for saving, I killed the giant centipede myself, without any help from you." She goes back to concentrating on the amulet.

Sath Saltblood |

Once she has been assured of Bri's assistance, Sath heads back out into the hallway and heads to the R5-6 stairs.
"I'll double-check the hold to make sure we didn't miss anything." She exclaims as she goes out to the hallway.

Embrianna |

Bri sighs as Sath moves to leave. "I'll come with you Sath. No one should be going about alone on the ship. You just never know what will pop up at you."
Bri follows Sath.

Astrianna Sparacello |

Astrianna's curiosity has taken full hold as she sees the aura around the necklace. "Thalios, your necklace isn't just lucky, it's magical. If you'll allow a lady a moment to study its aura, I may be able to tell you exactly how lucky it is..."
Diplomacy: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (3) + 12 = 15

David "Dirk" Hawkins |

David pauses first in the ship's galley and takes a few scraps of dried fish to feed his lovable cat as he strokes it around the ears.
"Ah yes - delicious," he says inhaling the smells of cooking.
Then he turns on his heel, the cat still relaxing on his shoulders as he strides with a casual purpose to enter the room that Darius is standing in front of.
He turns to Darius who is ready in front of the door, clearly eager to go inside.
"Very good Number One..." he says, giving him the nod "...make it so!" he adds with a look that somehow says It was inevitable...

Astrianna Sparacello |

Astrianna puts her hands on her hips, one cocked to the side. "I'm not a thief, Thalios, I just want to know what magic your amulet holds. You don't want to unlock the secrets of its powers? With the proper trigger words, it could do more than protect you..." Her eyebrows raise suggestively.

Sath Saltblood |

Sath leads the way up the stairs to the deck of the ship and then moves toward the mast cautiously, drawing her scimitar as she does so and placing her darkwood spear into a strap harness on her back intended for that purpose.
"So Bri, are you ready to kill it with fire?"
