You just need to 5ft step north again, Gerard can do the rest (get to the far side).
Helps (us all) to get his +5d8 in play. Else he's 1d4+1 in this fight. 1000% (x10) dmg increase.

Crap, forget to inspire as a move action in Rd 3 since I wasn't retrieving anything from my haversack and just straight up cast a standard action spell. If we're still on my turn in the init, can I begin inspiring courage as well?

You can crawl 5 feet as a move action. Crawling incurs attacks of opportunity from any attackers who threaten you at any point of your crawl. A crawling character is considered prone and must take a move action to stand up, provoking an attack of opportunity.

I'm not sure why your citing something that doesn't apply. The prone enemy has yet to move or crawl, he has been attacking from the prone position with his -4 penalty (F,14). The second enemy has been taking 5 ft steps but he is upright(He went from D,14 to E,14 in rd 4; then from E,14 to F,15 in Rd 5.[/ooc]

They are BOTH prone now.
Gerard gets an AOO at the one I just tripped in the corner.
AOO if either stands or crawls.
If the corner dude does move to flank me I can 5ft step out to flank him with Gerard.
Sorry you lost SA dude, but I did get you an AOO and a PRONE opponent.

Why does Gerard get an AoO? Not up on tripping.

Daniel has the Greater Trip feat, so when he trips someone the target provokes an AOO.

Pathfinder has some cool things with Trip that is pretty hard to defend against if your are bi-pedaled.

I have a fauchard wielding Lore Warden. Dipped into Knife Master & Quick Draw.
Adjacent foes, no longer an issue. Haven't got to the heavy tripping yet.

Lore Warden is best at CM's bar none.
Potent combo is Gtr trip+felling smash.
When you close you attack 2 handed for damage (trip as a swift action), gtr trip grants an AOO.
So you get 2 attacks for damage 2 handed whenever you move and make a foe prone.
Then he sucks the -4 to AC and attacks and provokes for moving/standing.

Talon Skyfall in my Into the Obscure campaign can be a nightmare with his tripping and insane crit modifier...

So possible tactics if we meet more of these strange things.
1.They can cast Deeper Darkness which can counter Daylight including the Morrowfall(IMO this kind of defeats the point of it being the McGuffin if it can be punked like that) So we need to put them on ice/control the area so it doesn't matter so much.
2.Area control spells like Sound Burst/Confusion/Frog Rain seem like good spells to cast before we melee and can soften them up(Too busy getting frogs out of pants to fight)

I need to put this game on hold for a few days - Wednesday night or Thursday - for a couple reasons: 1. I have an insane 48 hours of work ahead of me; and 2. I don't have maptools right now and this is will be too much work to describe the scenes. I realistically won't be able to try to get Maptools fixed until Thursday.
