Is the roof only slate? I could sunder a hole in it but that leaves the issue of ferrying everyone through while being shot at.

Baldwin pointed out that that is not a flat surface, but a cut-away view of the room under the slanted roof.

Yeh it's a bit confusing, I understand why paizo did the map this way for cost but it's a bit problematic when playing by post.
Think of the rooflines as several "A" frames connected together. At the peak of the main house (where the archers are located) the top of the "A" has been cut away, or opened up, so there is a concealed walk way for the archers. Hence the reason why it was impossible to spot the foe as you walked around the outside of the wall.
I was trying to avoid disclosing the "attic" since that is information the party would not know about without a thorough search of the building(s).

Housework here as well. Painters came to paint apartment and now I have to get everything back into place.
Possible suggestion to Orin. You have Levitate and Communcal Spider Climb so those ccould get Orsin and Andrea over the wall.

Lets just mow down the mooks and get to the main event.
I know the archers/guards/attack poodles are here to give experience and money/equipment, but at this point, I feel we should be cruising towards the final showdown rather dig out the minions.
Kind of like how Arnie/Stallone movies would really drag on if they had to spend any longer than 'Pull the trigger' to deal with the minions.
Perhaps I'm just feeling the burn right now and getting tired.

As a bit of warning if your not up for a tedious dungeon crawl this section will overwhelm you. Some of you may remember the pathfinder finder mansion that you had to laboriously search...welcome back. That why I rewrote the the mayor's mansion adventure because it was repeat performance.
Andrea I understand your concerns...I actually think these 6 book APs are a book to a book and half to long. It's also why i wanted you all to get in your RP'ing before you began this scene.

E3 - This section of roof has been cut away to form a flat area protected by a low lip.
You'll need to investigate E3 to determine what that thing is.
