I just got a pm saying that there was no tanky type people and 3 casters and a bard along with me.. if you want I'll change back to barb for the first lvl and go fighter or anti-paladin whichever fits better for you next. Whatever works for you, I can play what suits best for playstyle for this type of campaign.
OK this is something quite important: I didn't envision this adventure as a "let's kill everyone yei Evilness!". This will be an option of course, but there will also be an option for a smarter kind of evil. That is why the relative absence of a tank doesn't worry me much. You are not an orcish horde. You're much more than that.
Also since there's a comedic element, slaughtering everyone kind of cripples the possibilities.
Wholesale slaughter is such a...messy business. so inelegant and rather unbecoming. It is a pleasure to serve my lord Dagor in any way that I can. ;)

GM, can we got 5 minutes to gear up before we go to do our thing? I don't really see Lilliana lounging languidly in armor. If they were summoned anticipating business, then she'd be ready, but if they're just home and this is a total surprise, then she'n not be fully armored.

Can I ask you to use the [ ooc ] tag a bit more carefully? Don't use numerical positions like j8 or k10 if you are IC. Everything in black should read somewhat like a novel.
Save the translation in rules terms of your IC plan for the ooc-colored part of the post.
It just makes for a better narrative flow.

The enemy is coming down the road, from the north to the south in a loose formation (10 ft apart).
We are in the brush to the west of them, about 40 ft from the road.
Bru, Lillianna, and Zexil are up north to the west of the back foe, while Lilliana's companion is west of the captain, a square south. Can't tell where Icabhod is...on my phone.

If I can hold 3, we can drop G2, and take on the captain. Although she may have more information, if we can get her KO'd, but skelly don't do non-lethal well...

Bru was gonna attack a 2nd one this round yes.. Im targeting the same with a damage spell unless he kills it.. I would like to take the captain, but something tells me she would rather die than give info to us.. So my opinion is we take the held one, kill her the and other.. Reanimate them at our leisure. I feel certain the guard will speak if we let Leknep at him for a min or so.
Worst case scenario, we got Speak with Dead, for post-mortem interrogation, but there's so much more you can do with a live one!

Unless it gets full HP (cause even with 5+2 its' gone with 7 damage) It's "destroyed" but only for the time being as its a Bloody Skeleton. But the HP thing will let me know what happened
No, I'm afraid it's a regular bloody skeleton, so it's destroyued for the moment.

Liking the roleplay so far - even in the middle of combat. Bru that charges amidst the discussion of non-lethal submission, Ichabod fussing about his poor aim, Leknep looking for bugs. That's good stuff guys - can't wait for the roleplay bits of the adventure.

Totally forgot about the animal messenger, or really that we weren't able to attack it... dang. I think it may behove us to get with the interrogation the night we return after letting the prisoners stew for a bit. I'll see what Lillianna can do with the soldiers at least.

To clear the timeline: the battle happened at dawn and the walk back is just a few hours - you come back to the Fortress that is slightly earlier than midday.

Ok, so here's the deal.
In June 18 I'll be going away for a project, where most likely I'll have little to no internet access. It will last at least until the 6th of July.
I've been busy, among other things, with preparation for this trip and this PbP is by far the most time-consuming of my engagements here on the boards, since I'm GMing a homebrew and I do not have a module to rely upon when my writing muscles are tired.
So I'm sorry for the long pauses - I do not think resuming posts for a few days is going to change anything.
I apologize, but I will put this PbP on hiatus until early-to-mid July. When I come back I'll see if I can devote to your characters the attention that they deserve.

Well I noticed that he was still posting on the boards and e-mailed him but didn't get a response. So I will just drop out here.
Guys, I'm very sorry. This is by far the most time-comsuming of my PbPs, since it's a homemade adventure and I can't just run to the module when I'm out of ideas. Coming back from Iceland I also had my work schedule completely reworked, and I find myself in the position of not being able to continue posting.
I renew my apologies, as well as my thanks for the good, while very short, gaming experience you gave me so far.
Fo sho man. It was fun. Breath of fresh air and light hearted fun... Odd for an evil game I guess, but I'll take it. Lol
