Persuasive or Deceitful would be good. Spell Mastery (hideous laughter) would be an excellent choice. Item creation feats are decent. Other metamagics would be okay. Depending on your want for Knowledges or languages, Cosmopolitan and Scholar would be decent choices as well.

I wonder what I've gotten myself into over here by myself at the docks :I Hopefully Zogarthy sends you guys this way with his local check, assuming he has one.

I just realized I'd never taken the 'extra skill point for a craft, profession, or performance' as the house rules indicated. I updated my character sheet with a craft (metallurgy). It's what Gaileyon would have been doing for his family while getting trained by his Great Uncle.

El, once you've had your fortune read, I think we'll be looking to you to try and diplomacy our way into having to fork over MUCH less than 50 gps for this info =)
And that sucks about your mother board. Hopefully the hard drive is still intact. Losing important work like that is just sickening =\

Sorry for the delay, have family visiting during the holiday weekend. I will try to have a post up Sat or Sun.

So, in case you missed it, I really like the harrow deck and harrow readings.
If you've played CotCT, each module has an ability score related to it. With the harrowing, you will be getting harrow points that you can spend during the module to get certain benefits associated with the ability score.
It took me a while poring over the module to find which stat was best for which module. For this first book, it is Intelligence. I will put the Harrow points and the possible uses in the campaign tab.

I didn't pick them, you guys rolled them for yourselves with the d9 I had you roll. It seems the website dice know Elrawien well.

I thought of an interesting idea for Dareon.
So when he takes alchemist levels, I might not end up going with the aforementioned archetypes, unless Aardvark is willing to houserule something. That's the thing I'll ask first.
So Aardvark, in the Master Chymist PrC, it says that it stacks with alchemist levels with regard to bombs. If I take the vivisectionist archetype, can it stack with regards to sneak attack instead? If not, i won't be taking that archetype, because I want to go into Master Chymist.
So my idea: when Dareon takes alchemist levels, and he drinks his first mutagen, he's thrilled by the increase of combat prowess that it gives him. It'll give him potency in battle that he's never known before, that his knightly training never instilled in him and never will. He'll still occasionally take a cavalier level, but by the time he's a cavalier3/alchemist4, he'll have grown addicted to the mutagen, and will go into master chymist, developing an alternate personality that revels in the savage kind of battle, that wants to stick around but knows that he can't because of the time limit on the mutagen. He'll endeavor to mutate during every battle, and Dareon will love it.
what do you guys think?
Dareon Niroden
Hmm, you're right...that's kind of a bummer. It's gonna be awhile, then. Probably after 12th level, which sucks. I want 5 levels of cavalier for the free Mobility to both myself and my mount.
Dareon Niroden
Hoping I can nab some mithril armor, but I might actually want to do that.
Actually, just a moment, I have a really demanding question for Aardvark. Would you mind if I retooled my character, mechanically, into a Lore Master or Strategist fighter? It would only be for the first level, and I likely would not change my stats. It's only been one combat, and that combat's only been with pugwampis, so it wouldn't impact much, but I would be much more incensed to go the Eldritch Knight route if I was a fighter instead of a cavalier, because I wouldn't feel like my challenge ability would be a waste of an ability.
What do you say?

I have no problem with you changing to the Tactician Fighter. As it was I warned about the problems with the mount. Now you get roughly the same build without having to worry about it.
Are you still looking at taking alchemist for your arcane? I'd let the vivisectionist keep stacking (as it says "Add the character’s alchemist and master chymist levels together to determine the damage done by her bombs"). Your bomb damage is in sneak attack form, so it would keep increasing as it would if you were a normal alchemist.
Dareon Niroden
Change made. I'm pretty sure that I'm wanting to go into wizard at this point. I can just eat the ASF chance, and I can grab some mithril breastplate and one of the arcane armor training feats for 4200gp and a feat. That'll get me all the way down to 5% failure. Totally fine by me.
What do you think of the Scroll Scholar Archetype for Dareon?
Dareon Niroden
1 - fighter - Dodge, Mobility
2- wizard - Scribe Scroll bonus, diligent student (history)
3- wizard - Arcane Armor Training
4 - wizard - INT bonus
5 - wizard - Spring Attack
6 - wizard - Craft Wondrous Item bonus, diligent student (dungeoneering)
7 - eldritch knight - Combat Reflexes, Bodyguard bonus
8 - eldritch knight - DEX bonus
9 - eldritch knight - Improved Familiar (imp), In Harm's Way bonus
I'd be going diviner specialization, opposition schools enchantment and evocation.
I've totally hijacked this thread for a really long time...hmm...I should stop.

Elrawien, you could, but everyone is with you unless you want to split off from the group. I figured you had wanted to do it without someone in particular present?
Aardvark DM
Will you tell anyone (like Fade) where you're going? Or are you just going to veer off? It will be after you guys get into the upper district where you three rich kids are more at home.

Are we waiting on me to get back to the Manor, because Oz is most likely going to stick around till the shady characters show up.
Aardvark DM
Okay, Elra
Oz, I was also going to mention that to them.
Since IC, no one knows what he's planning, this is why I asked you guys how long you are willing to wait for him to return.

Also, thanks for the invite, Shalafi, but I'm going to have to decline for the same reason I passed on that other DL game - I'm pretty well at my pbp capacity at this point.
It's tempting to sign up for other ones when every one of the games I'm in are moving slowly, but that quickly gets overwhelming when any of them inevitably pick up the pace. I read through your recruitment thread and it looks like you've put a lot of thought into bring the DL world into a Pathfinder ruleset so I hope you have a lot of fun and success with it!
