@ I already chose my magic Item, GM. What I meant is that without the possibility of buying magic items there seems to be few opportunities to spend the money.

Seth, oh. Maybe I should have made a list of available magic items? I could have rolled a treasure hoard to be a shop in Waterdeep perhaps. If there's something specific you were wanting let me know. I just used the standard default starting wealth for 5th level from DMG not knowing better.
Jysson, nice voice, sounds pulpy.

In general, money in 5e is spent on things a normal person would buy, rather than things a PF character would buy.
House, castle, army, political influence, booze, ships, businesses, etc...
Gone are the days of only spending money to increase your stats and improve your own character sheet.
However, for personal use items, there's still a list of things you may want. Rope, pitons, cooking supplies, food, horse and wagon, hirelings (a driver, personal guards or retinue, etc), gear for a specific environment, back up supplies (as a caster, you'll want more than one arcane focus as a backup), etc.
You gotta think as a PC in a real world, rather than stat building.

Sure, I'm alright with that, but would prefer if its a common type. If we had actually played the first scenario in Nightstone you guys would have found a few magic items.
Edit: To give you an idea of rarity in the adventure as written, levels 1-4 you would have only obtained:
potion of healing
potion of heroism
potion of invulnerability (not guaranteed)
1 roll on magic item table A
So giving you a free uncommon one was pretty powerful, but then I'm a fan of magic, so...

Seth, for a bit more detail, when you cast a spell like identify as a ritual:
1. It takes 10 minutes longer
2. It doesn't spend a spell slot
Pretty awesome.
Another ID spell (I'm still learning the 5e spells myself) is Legend Lore (5th level). Its a 500gp non-ritual that is basically a poetic google. You say the name of something, and get a little vague paragraph of info.
Warlock doesn't have any of those spells on its list, and using a scroll requires class list, but there is also wand of magic detection. Its 3 charges of detect magic that regenerate 1d3 charges daily. A similar item wand of secrets detects traps. Both are uncommon.

I can get (and actually already have) some spells as ritual spells. Ah, btw, I have find familiar, Can we suppose I've casted it already?

10 foot climb? Easy! I can jump it! Standing jump is 1/2(3+str mod) or 3.5 feet.
You can reach that + 1.5x height.
How tall is my PC? Let's use Paizo's height and weight. For an elf, that's 2d8 + 5'4" (64")
Height: 64 + 2d8 ⇒ 64 + (1, 8) = 73 or 6' 1"
My standing reach is 9' 1". I just have to hop up a foot to grab the ledge of the chair and pull myself up. :)
Weight: 2d8 ⇒ (8, 5) = 13 x 3 = 39
139 lbs

Eh, sorry I couldn't come up with a better hook. I was going to exclude this cloud castle and just start in Triboar, but changed my mind at the last second.
No problem. I like it! I'm into the awe and wonder stuff and it works great with that, even if it is kinda random and forced. :)

I'm fine either way. If you want to post AC & hp, that's ok with me. Can even speed it up towards the end when PCs start waiting to see who is finished off or not.

one thing that I've seen working in other campaigns is to put the initiative order into the campaign infor "short description" section.
| Jysson |
Oh, sorry. I think there's been some confusion?
The header works for me.
Generally what I have an issue with on my phone is too much text in a single line, so it breaks up the standard page width. Like if someone were to put all the text in a single long link.
I also have issues with Roll20 on my phone, but I'm good with other maps.

Here are two pics so you can see what happens when someone doesn't break apart text.
In the problem pic, I often have to zoom in to read it, then have to swipe the screen left and right to get all the text.

Guys, I guess as of yesterday the online site
is a way to get 5e rules fast. Its free to setup an account, but not sure what all is included yet.
edit: Just made a earth genasai bard in like 2 seconds, its pretty nice but I guess you do have to purchase content outside the SRD.

I have been REALLY looking forward to that. Yeah, only SRD and EEPC are there for free, but you do need to buy any additional content.
However, I went ahead and bought the core rulebooks since I really wanted a good online reference (easier to sneak in game prep at work with online rather than physical books!). I might actually get the “Legendary Bundle” of everything once I have the money (but will avoid peaking at this adventure, of course). One cool thing is that you can share purchased content. So I set up a “campaign” to share content and can PM the invite URL if anyone wants to try it out with the full content from the 3 core rulebools (and Sunless Citadel, cuz I was curious how adventures looked).

Thanks, I joined with my little test character. Yeah, the interface is super sleek, I really it. I doubt I'll care much about the character generator but just having the easy reference makes it pretty tempting. If they stick to the slow rollout schedule for content it will probably be pretty cheap to keep up with.

Yes, I LOVE online rule references. For PF I swear by d20pfsrd.com and have barely cracked open an actual book in quite a while. Sadly between license limitations and other buggy aspects, 5esrd.com just doesn’t cut it for me, however. But the rules reference compendium in D&D Beyond has been great so far!
Plus (I sound like a paid shill, but I promise I’m not), what really sold me on it is that my son just started gaming with his friends. (High school teenagers) With the content sharing, I can give them all access to the books at no cost to them. In short term may be a lost book sale or two (mostly they just keep fighting over the 1 PHB rather than buying their own anyway), but in the long term it gets them fully involved with a much lower bar of entry.

It is. The subscription is to remove ads and share your character sheets.
The Hero Tier at $2.99/ month is intended primarily for players. It removes ads on the site, allows players to create an unlimited number of characters, and add publicly-shared homebrew content to your collection to use within the toolset.
The Master Tier at $5.99/ month is intended primarily for Dungeon Masters and full groups. It grants all the benefits of the Hero Tier, and also allows a DM to share all her unlocked official content with other players within a campaign - so content does not have to be unlocked by every player.

Sorry, everyone! Traveling (for the eclipse actually, and a college visit for my daughter after). I should have full access again Thursday, and intermittent access between now and then. If it gets to me again, you can bot me. Probably just rely on ol’ trusty bow.
And speaking of telescopes, are kicking ourselves. Managed to get solar film ordered in time, made a filter, packed it carefully so that it won’t be damaged on the drive, packed the telescope, and... forgot the case of eyepieces. :(
Ah well, still gonna be incredible. We can just use our set up other times to look for sun spots or something. Good luck with viewing it!
