Illuvin special unconscious for: 3d6 ⇒ (3, 5, 1) = 9 hours

With a DC 12 Medicine check someone can realize a good smack (that deals damage and of course costs such) will get you awake.

Map is all set, slight change since I couldn't quite make what I originally imagined. You are in a tent just outside the chief's hut instead of a curtained off section of the chiefs hut. The 3 warriors have raised it in some sections to enter. You can hear, but not see, the chanting from 4 marked "?" locations outside the tent.

Melgrom was attempting to stay awake the whole night in said position sitting agaisnt the wall, do I need to make a roll to have stayed awake or do we just assume I dozed of at some point?

Yeah, I thought Molok would stay awake as he mistrusted the Yak-folk, but I did not actually mention it...oops!!

AvernusArt 2Grid

Its alright, if Mel and Molok want to be awake not going to change much in the grand scheme...just half movement to stand and its already tight quarters so likely not moving much anyways.

Male Mountain Dwarf Ranger Lv 7 - HP 48/61 - AC 16 - Lv 1 4/4 - Lv 2 3/3 - Ini +4 - Passive Perception 16

not sure if its a surprise round for us but since I am bout to head to bed considerd this my turn so I don't delay the whole group by oversleeping!

Melgroms grabs up his heavy cross bow from his lap as he hears the chanting and does a small chant of his own, making his eyes glow unnaturally as he looks at yellow yak man before rapidly releasing two bolts at him.

Bonus action to cast hunters mark and then 2 shots.

Jax fireballs far back enough to get green and yellow without touch his allies after getting up. This may also get the 2 questions marks or just 1, but his main concern is to hit the minotaurs dmg: 8d6 ⇒ (3, 3, 1, 2, 6, 1, 4, 6) = 26 dc 14 dex for half.

I’m confused. Is it our turn yet?

Female Triton Paladin 7 LoH 35/35 HP 60/60 1st 4/4 2nd 3/3 HD 7/7

I think we are just posting so that our posts are there when the combat starts
Bonus action Elain mutters some words, and casts shield of faith on Jax +2 AC
as her move she stands and goes to the chief tent and tries to attack the chief if she can reach it, if not she will dash into the chief's tent sword and shield at the ready
I'm going to wait until i know i can attack until i roll any attack rolls, because i just know with my luck i'm gonna crit

AvernusArt 2Grid

Initiative was rolled at the end of the previous page. Sorry for delay, late getting around...

Round 1:
Sohar (unconscious), Jax <--UP (modify action)
Enemy
Pindleton, Molok, Elain, Melgrom, Urth, Illuvin (unconscious), Thumps

Jax, it doesn't get the unknowns but it gets Sohar. The pink circle is the tent's radius and is a barrier to targeting magic. No way to get just the yaks or only one yak without getting Sohar and probably burning tent down on top of you. Still want?

Thumps, you are fine but sense an odd metallic taste in your mouth.

AvernusArt 2Grid

I'll bot Jax in an hour or 2

AvernusArt 2Grid

Jax's fingers erupt in his signature magic missiles...

3d4 + 3 ⇒ (4, 1, 1) + 3 = 9

Yellow and Green converge on Melgrom and Thumps...

Attack Melgrom: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (16) + 6 = 22
Multiattack Melgrom: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (2) + 6 = 8

Attack Thumps: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (10) + 6 = 16
Multiattack Thumps: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (10) + 6 = 16

...Melgrom gets clipped hard by the wellcrafted blade...

Dmg Mel: 4d6 + 4 ⇒ (1, 5, 4, 2) + 4 = 16

Meanwhile Red engages Molok...

Attack Molok: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (9) + 6 = 15
Multiattack Molok: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (17) + 6 = 23

...drawing a thick gash across the stoneman's features...

Dmg Molok: 4d6 + 4 ⇒ (4, 6, 5, 2) + 4 = 21

AvernusArt 2Grid

Mel, you have disadvantage on the above rolled crossbow attacks due to them advancing on you. You can retake your round 1 action if you want.

Molok retaliates instantly, badly crippling Red on the edge of the tent.

You hear more of the concerted chanting outside and a great boom like a tear in the very fabric of existence rings throughout the area...followed by a strange snarling and noise like an avalanche just outside.

Round 1:
Sohar (unconscious), Jax

Elain will try to get to the chief's tent by slashing through the sides to reach there. If she can make it without using an action than could she look around for some sort of wife or sun and grapple them?

Thumps draws his rapier and stabs at the Yak hoping to catch it while engaged with so may targets.

Rapier Attack: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (15) + 7 = 22
Rapier Damage: 1d8 + 4 ⇒ (5) + 4 = 9

He withdraws his bloody rapier, chants a few words and sarcastically warns the Yak, "ICOMING" as the anvil of Tymora coalesces and drops toward him.

Spiritual Weapon: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (1) + 8 = 9
Damage Tymora's Anvil: 1d8 + 5 ⇒ (2) + 5 = 7

"Maybe next time make the snarky comment following the success."

Urth stands and unsheathes his sword.

"Illusio Vim!" The sailor shouts causing the redyak to see blue chains jet from the end of his sword and entangle it preventing all movement. The chains then start to compress.

DC 15 Int save. Phantasmal Force of course of course.

AvernusArt 2Grid

Elain, you could do that on the south face of the tent, but would provoke an attack of opportunity from green. Will wait for a yes/no on that. Thumps, anvil placed feel free to move where you want.

The yak snorts in confusion as his wrists get closer and closer, binding him in place.

Round 1:

Pindleton, Molok, Elain, Melgrom, Urth, Illuvin (unconscious), Thumps <--UP

Looking for confirmation of AoO from Elain, and need disadvantage roll from Melgrom unless he has some ability to fire in melee.

Female Triton Paladin 7 LoH 35/35 HP 60/60 1st 4/4 2nd 3/3 HD 7/7

Let the poor little bastard try

AvernusArt 2Grid

Tearing a gap in the side of the tent reveals the source of the chanting, more yakfolk dressed in ceremonial garb (priests, perhaps) appear to have summoned the aid of interdimensional creatures made of earth...

AoO, warrior: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (8) + 6 = 14
AoO, elemental: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (6) + 8 = 14

...but somehow Elain slips away.

Tear in the tent as indicated on map. Other locations are still blocked from sight

AvernusArt 2Grid

Jax feel free to act while were waiting on Mel and Pindleton.

Male Mountain Dwarf Ranger Lv 7 - HP 48/61 - AC 16 - Lv 1 4/4 - Lv 2 3/3 - Ini +4 - Passive Perception 16

I'm going to cast slow spell on red, yellow and green, since I can be selective with slow wis DC 14. Our best chance of not being corner.

AvernusArt 2Grid

Thanks Mel, I thought I remembered something like that, was having a hard time finding it on Beyond char sheet.

AvernusArt 2Grid

Sorry guys will bot Pindleton later today, work responsibilities. Last of it for a few weeks will be after tonight though
