The first order of business is whether or not to use Roll20. I've never used it before, but I've heard good things. If not using roll20, I will just use Imjur links for maps and whatnot. Does anyone have a preference?

I've fiddled with roll20, but only used it for a single encounter of a single game. Seemed to work out reasonably, though.

will redo Archaon background today to make him more sinister. Roll20 is pretty sweet I play a lot of PFS online and use it a lot. The learning curve is pretty much none for the players, they just move their tokens around. IF your using if for full game then there is a bit to learn with rolling and macros and what not but still pretty easy. I hear its pretty friendly to the GM as well with editing maps and what not but haven't done that yet myself.

so money I get 120,000 + 20,000 for 140,000 since there is no ingame bonus right? I just need to spend money and change background and I will be good to go. Will post in gameplay later to introduce myself.

For actual introductions since we will hopefully be playing together for a long time :).

My name is Charlie. I work in IT for the state of florida. I post very often and multiple times a day while at work. I only check once or twice on the weekends and sometimes don't check at night unless it seems thats when everyone usually post. I have played pathfinder from the start and have been playing D&D for 25+ years. Lets kick some branded but.

I'm william, I work in IT in the great state of Tennessee, I have relatives in Florida
I am constantly on these games, and am most active between 9 and 2 (9am-2pm) as I don't have class at that time other than on Mondays and Wednesdays
I am in the eastern time zone
I'm 19, I turn 20 in July
I got my start at playing DnD with 2e, and I played that for a few years, then switched to pathfinder
I usually play casters so this rouge is a slight change of pace

I have to alter the crimson blade to make him corrupted so i have to take the time and do that sooner or later.

Welp looking over my guide he's going to need a full rewrite to make it as corrupted. MAny of his powers are distinctly anti-evil. Which would be awesome given his previous inclinatios.

So, if it is at all possible I'd like to rewrite him again with a different "race" so to speak.

Question, crimson blade, if you're going to be a monk with "blade" in your name why are you not a weapon master monk

Because a 1d6 sword pales to a 2d8 piercing unarmed strike.

gotcha, but why would you use a 1d6, a 2d6 19-20 x2 exists, so do 1d8s and 2d4 x4s or 2d4 19-20 x3, etc
and weapons are cheaper to enchant,
but really what I'm asking is where did the name come from, to what blade do you refer

I'm thinking rather than go through the tedious process of rewriting him completely of just asking if I could just scrub out the instances of "Evil" in the unicorn powers and replace them with "good".

you know a half celestial (infernal) one is only 1 CR higher than a standard one yes? and it flies

I'm not sure it works like that in this game. Aside from that I'd rather just scrub the good and be done with it. I'm rather attached to my 7th level in the other class.

I'm still here (or, I'm here again). I'd started writing a post, but had to run off to work, and by the time I got home, I was feeling miserable from a cold I just managed to shake... I haven't been keeping up on anything over the last week.

Given the other thread hasn't gone anywhere either, he probably got sucked back into his RL responsibilities.

Not that that makes him magically appear to run the game, unfortunately.

And if not, it won't be my first gestalt character that got abandoned nearly unused. There's something about gestalt that seems to attract GMs with reliability issues, it seems.

if you need a gestalt there's a lvl 16 gestalt game called avalon academy, they're always "enrolling" new students,

it's mostly RP and there are about 4 DM's and the game has been going strong since before 2011 (it was renamed at that point and moved to a new area)
