Only if you do not allow duality, a Patton so complex it looks like 'Chaos' is still a Patton. Knowledge is what revels the form, take chaos theorem, could be he working in a area of Math beyond that.

Gods (and similar) in many of the classic tales were merely representations, defined by humanity, of personified aspects of reality-- so this makes sense, especially if you take classic Greek mythos, as your example.

Perhaps -- to follow your line of thought, my Chaos guy isn't chaotic as we understand it at all, but sees EVERYTHING in a neat organized manner, thus, we've just removed the need for Knowledge!

Have you read, the Amber books by Roger Zelazny, that's what he went with, a big pot of Chaos spat out law. etc.

Nice Idea

Zelazny is one of my (perhaps the) favorite authors. I have not read much that compares to his genius in establishing rich and meaningful universes.

I nearly wept when I read of his passing. There is not a day I won't let go by without praising much of his work.

It's a subtle point-- but, I didn't say /he/ or it, was organized, merely that is saw all of reality as organized and perfect, which no one else really can.

Thus, there's no need to take control, nor eliminate that which exists, the perfection of Chaos. :)

Entropy is disorder - but in a very orderly way. It works better in my brain than in text... however, Entropy is very all-encompassing. We don't, for example, have a Patron of Mass or Energy, nor do I think we should.
