What is the current state of everyone's hp? If two or more are injured, then Orophin will channel, leaving one use for emergency, otherwise CLW!
Looking increasingly fatigued, Orophin again shares the life energy of the spire.
"This is not as easy as it looks. The life here is tenuous. Gather around. "
Still, he shares what he can.

Kerastes moves back to the big room and takes a pick axe in his hands. He starts shifting the rubble to make an entrance.

Kerastes starts clearing away the rubble. Anyone else want to join? I'm assuming he gets help.]
Eventually, he manages clear the passage to the chamber beyond. The small chamber reeks of filth and rotten meat. A heap of coins and other valuables lies piled in the middle of the room. The largest item in the pile is a gem-studded copper sphere. Though completely motionless, the light on the sphere seems to flicker and fade like a desert mirage.

I thought there was something about a secret door that meant we didn't need to clear rubble. Ahh, now I look at the map and understand, it goes somewhere else.

If you look at the map, you'll see two passages: one through a secret door, the other behind the rubble. The room behind the rubble has the copper orb behind it

Cirri sighs. "More undead." Cirri grabs her staff and does a quick flourish, causing an icy bolt to shoot through her hand.

"Tt..thanks.." says Orophin, somewhat shaken by the appearance and then rapid removal of the ghoul.
"Foolish of me, I remember now you saying there was an undead hiding within it. All those hours moving rocks must have cast it from my mind.."
He sits for a moment to rest and then resumes his study of the orb.

It is indeed the orb of stars that lies in this room, as well as a heap of treasure left here by Sevenfingers. Once, the treasure was packed in several leather backpacks, but it seems the hunger of the ghoul was large enough for the leather satchels to be torn apart.
With the orbs of stars secured, the only obstacle out is the leech-infested pool, though a quick wade through will prevent any harm. Outside, daylight shines, still casting strange shadows over the gloomy spire. Another two-hours descent by stairs brings the adventurers back to the Grinning Pixie.
Before ordering the Pixie to return to Drenchport, Calisro Beanery addresses the PCs once more: “Pathfinders, you have done a great service for me and the Society. The recovery of the Orb of Stars paves the way for future expeditions. Soon, perhaps, we’ll learn more about the Gloomspires’ mysterious creators, unravel their arcane secrets, and perhaps even delve deeper into old Sevenfingers’s tomb to liberate his ill-gotten wealth. Considering what you’ve seen, you’re all now among the foremost authorities on the Gloomspires. I hope that I may call upon all of you again should the Society decide to fund another expedition.”
Congratulations! You have emerged safely from the hall of the flesh eaters. I'll prepare chronicles and report the game once I get the link.

"I'm glad you were pleased with our work. I need to go find more faces to break. Good breaking faces with you all." Seline, though pleased, still wears the same smirk on her face, and looks ready to go start a fight with someone for the fun of it.

"Thank you for your kind words captain. Will you take care of those poor people we rescued from that spire? I know they are cannibals, but I hope there is redemption to be found for them"

![]() |

"I can't believe it's all copper. Well, glad to help. Happy to put down some undead."
On the trip back, Cirri tries to teach the cannibals how to fish. She does try to show them how to cook, but she knows that's a lost cause.
Cirri asks Scare a million questions about him and his giggly friend, probably getting nowhere fast and/or annoying Scare because she won't shut up.
If Seline doesn't mind, Cirri will certainly spar with her. Staff versus Fist: The eternal battle!

"Outmatched! I'll show you out-"
And Cirri does. By getting outmatched. And Knocked Out.
Haha, loads of fun! Thanks for the fight and thanks for the run!

Orophin is also keen to ensure the local cannibals are taken back to somewhere there is a more fulfilling diet.
"I guess that secret door and the stairs down is for another trip" he sighs.

Oops, sorry for not getting the PFS# to you, and thanks for the run!
Cacumattus - and his digestive system - fare much better on the return journey. If anyone were ever to ask, he would swear that his regular casting of Prestidigitation around mealtimes is only to keep the smell of the cannibals at bay, and not, say, because meeting them made him curious what the flavour of the humanoid races might be.
