Sorry Doug!

dang, scroll-related DCs are pretty tough at low levels! I always kinda wrote read magic off 'cause my groups usually handwave identifying "normal" magic items

I'm tempted to get a wand of read magic.

I really should start tracking how many of Oiur's attacks actually hit :p

So we're wrapping up here. I have your character info and day jobs from the beginning of the scenario (though anyone that has a folio re-roll they haven't used is welcome to use it on their day job). I'm going to start working on chronicle sheets. Does anyone want to go slow progression for this one?
Professor Lacrymose
|
I'll reroll.
Craft Alchemy+Crafters Fortune+GM Stars: 1d20 + 24 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 24 + 3 = 30
Normal Progression plz.
Rowdy Copperpelt

Thanks for running Dennis! Fun as always. I can't help but get a little sad when our party says goodbye.
Since it's only 1 Exp Rowdy will go normal.
I'll re-roll too. Prof: Gunsmith: 1d20 + 5 + 3 ⇒ (5) + 5 + 3 = 13
GM Dennis

Didn't Rowdy re-roll against the mummy rot?
Rowdy Copperpelt

Oh you’re right! Sorry, I forgot.

So, what's next? :)

It’s a little while until it comes out, but I really want to play Eugressia in the new Concordance scenario!
Eugressia Biogon

It is a 1-5, and it comes out the end of February.

Anyone have any plans for another PbP anytime soon? This is a great group and I'd love to play with y'all. Happy to GM, too, if I can get some guidance.
GM Dennis
|
We could do something short before then if you want, though we don't want the higher level people to level out. Does anyone have a 1-5 they want to play and/or GM?
GM Dennis
|
Or we could do something not-PFS. Kate and I have played it already (Adam, I can't remember if you were in that game too), but I do have a third party adventure where you can play as murderous leshys.

Between Ruins of Azlant and Honey Heist, I think I've got enough on my PbPlate 'til the Concordance scenario, so I'll sit out 'til then
GM Dennis
|
I could also GM something in the meantime too, if you all want.
I don't think there's anything on my list that I am dying to run (I recently prepped Sewer Dragons and Black Waters for tables that did not muster lately, but everyone's played those).
So, if you like, I can gm whatever.
I have played neither of those, and I don't think Kate has either. That said, I'm happy waiting until the concordance scenario, too.

You wanna be a bear criminal, Adam?
Oh My Goodness. I have heard of this amazing and legendary thing. Yes. I never knew how much until right now.

I've played Sewer Dragons, but not Black Waters.

HERE are your chronicle sheets. Let me know if there are any problems, or if you've decided you'd rather go slow or something.
Also, does anyone have any lingering questions about this adventure? I'll tell you that for all the crappy things that happened to you, you avoided one of the worst. There was an item you rolled poorly on, failed to identify, and discarded. If you'd made the check (DC 20) you would have identified it as a periapt of wound closure. Only if you'd made a DC 30 spellcraft would you have realized that it was actually a cursed periapt of foul rotting (needs a remove curse, then a remove disease, and then a f!%~ing heal/miracle/limited wish/wish to fix!).

Really!?
The rotting can also be countered by crushing a periapt of health and sprinkling its dust upon the afflicted character (a full-round action), whereupon the periapt of foul rotting likewise crumbles to dust.
Didn't we find an amulet of health? Maybe this is why the author thought it would be okay to include its cursed counterpart… just trying to rationalize the thought process for this free RPG day punishment.

Ah, good point. You did find a periapt of health, so you could have done that.
Rowdy Copperpelt

That’s so cruel! Doug and I were talking about how we expected cursed items in this mod.
Yeah, what a mean free RPG day mod this was.
Sir Ibb

I think Doug played black waters already, assuming he wants to play a pbp between now and the end of February.
Oiur
|
There's some cognitive dissonance, on occasion, between how we treat Ibb as kind-of-a-child and the fact that he's a big muscly adult who kind of carries a lot of encounters for us!
Although I say we, but now that I think about it, maybe that's more of a me thing?
Irp

It's sort of bakes into the character concept.
Irp is supposed to give Ibb a sense of guidance and function as his superego (as a figment of his own mind), but the little thrush also a chaotic jerkface :)
Ibb is also super lazy, so he will always let other people do the work / thinking if possible!
Sir Ibb

Thank you, Dennis!

Yeah, thanks for runnin'!

The plan is to take a break until the concordance scenario comes out? I'm down with that. Rowdy is only 10 exp, so he'll be in range for a while.
But, by the end of February I will almost certainly be a sleep deprived new dad, (spoiler alert!) so my posting will most likely be erratic.
