Turning the characters in Andor into SF2e characters would be fun.
I'm wondering which playtest scenario or adventure might be the best to test the Technomancer and Mechanic. Any of them would work but wondering which one has the most tech-related interactions.
What excites me the most is it looks like Paizo is really going all in on the release of SF2e, by the time the Player Core is out we will already have 7 flip-mats, the 4 playtest adventures, 2 hard-cover books. With what else is coming at the release of the Player Core and shortly after SF2e looks to be set up for a great start. I don't remember if they have release dates yet but the Starfinder novel and Infinity deck being announced is exciting too.
But for me, the big question for April is, after actually printing last year's April Fools joke as a hardcover book, what will happen this year? Part of me thinks it's futile to try to outdo The Gap which is one of the best lore books ever not written.

I read both PF1's Distant Worlds (a delicious buffet of pulpy goodness) and SF1's Pact Worlds (which expanded Golarion's solar system by leaps and bounds while still preserving its history and pulpy soul), so I'm pretty excited to see the canon carried forward one more time. I'm also, like, really eager to compare the six new ancestries to their 1e versions and my PF2 favorites, just to see if I can get a nice taste of how the edition's gonna shape out.

To clarify and give you a specific date to be excited about, the playtest starts April 21st! Since we got some feedback last time about lack of updates on the timeline of our playtests in the forums, in addition to the blog announcing the first day, I'll also make posts in the Announcements section about how long you have left for the playtest. Hopefully this helps the community some!

Any chance we'll get any 'clean up' errata to bring the previously released material closer to what we'll see in the final product? It would be useful for gauging Technomancer and Mechanic against the other classes and making sure their gear hits like it is supposed to.
There won't be any additional errata apart from what is usually listed in the wrap-up blog! They can't do those so much during the playtest since the community offers feedback throughout the entire period, and the team prefers to get all of it in before making those lists.

Thanks!
So the "corebook" for GMs is actually the PF corebook that already exists, instead of a new book? Or is the Galaxy Guide actually kindof the GM core? The description includes player options.

Galaxy guide is a setting book, like the Lost Omens books, they have character options, but are mostly to help players and GM's get a sense of the world.
And the core book will be released this summer at Gencon. I think it's going to be like the first CRB for PF2e, and player and GM Core will all be in one book. Could be wrong about that. But they have stated that they will have full rules printed in a SF2e book, you will not need PF2e books to play after release. They did that with the Playtest to save time.

Considering we already have a product listing for Starfinder GM Core I don't think it'll be merged like PF2e launch, and we'll probably just get it slightly later. Which admittedly does irk me a little. Even the PF2e Remaster made sure that the Player and GM Cores came out together, what is supposedly a new and separate (even if compatible) system not launching with important things like GM advice or a bestiary rubs me the wrong way, but it's too late to do anything about it now.

Because the Cantina feel is so important to Starfinder I believe the Galaxy Guide is being released ahead of the rule books to give us more ancestries at the official release of SF2e. It also lets people new to Starfinder learn about the setting or SF1e players read about the changes in the setting.
We don't have dates for all the SF2e core books yet but we know they are, Players Core, GM Core, Alien Core, and Tech Core.
