Possibly the Bone Speaker feat at play too.
Usharak showing himself to very much not be above using evil ends while still not harming innocents (that we see) is a nice balance for an iconic.
Nice to see this!
So glad you liked it!!

Love runs deep for Usharak, a commanding force that takes him to The Outer Rifts in today's first necromancer Iconic Encounter! Take a peek into the story behind the new class releasing at Gen Con in today's blog!

kaid wrote: I think one of the issues that gets investigators rated a bit lower in general is a lot of what they do sort of needs GM buy in/support. To really shine they need lots of stuff to investigate. A very flavorful and fun class but some tables just don't let them play to their strengths.
But if you have a gm and an adventure that plays to their strength you can go full on sherlock holms goodness.
This right here!!!! If you have a GM that sees your passion for the class and wants to make sure you still have fun, it can be done!!! Please GM's hear my plea! We can have both brains and brawn!
Tridus wrote: So I find this really amusing because in my Strength of Thousands game, the Investigator is nicknamed "The Terminator". He got that name because his go-to strategy is "shoot it in the face with a bow" and it's gotten him a lot of kills.
He recently picked up a Fatal firearm, so he may be doing even more of this in the future.
Oh absolutely!!! 100000%!!!
TheTownsend wrote: To put things in context, just glancing at the timeline in World Guide… Pallemi might not know what Elves are. They mostly left Golarion during Earthfall, over 5,000 years before his birth, and didn't return until about 2,000 years after his mortal body died.
Other things Pallemi would not know about:
•Aroden dying, and related events like the Eye of Abendego
•Any of the Starstone-Ascended gods
•Any of Taldor's Successor States
•Irrisen and the Baba Yaga
•Thassilon's return
•The Whispering Tyrant
•Alkenstar
•Arazni
And more!
Oh, our Pallemi. So many things to learn from each other in turn!

While I won't make a full tier list right now, I want to say something controversial and yet so brave lol
I love investigators. I feel empowered by gaining information. The Pathfinder Tales books that involve, to ME, the most powerful and intriguing stories are the ones surround investigator class characters.
All this being said, I'm aware that an investigator in combat is about to do some razzle dazzle in a corner and likely not actually... kill anything lmao BUT! I STILL LOVE MY NERDY DUDES (gender neutral)!! AND I JUST WANTED TO SAY THAT! INVESTIGATOR S TIER IN MY HEART! IT'S MY SILLY OPINION!

HalcyonHorizons wrote: Exemplar - Additional Ikon
It would be nice if there was additional clarification on if Additional Ikon through Advanced Glory Archetype Feats (at 16) could be taken and works to grant a 3rd Ikon, or if it only works if you already have 3 ikons to gain a fourth.
There's no restriction, so it could be interpreted as a text oversight.
Definitely take this to Rules Questions and discuss there first! It may not actually be an error!

I've moved this to the Second Edition Advice section for you, Wch85 336!
Hey Demothrin! This thread was flagged as in the wrong forum, since this Advice section is general used for questions about the game itself. Since this falls closely with content creation for streaming and actual play, I've moved it here to see if other online content creators can provide you the advice you need!

This thread has been pointed out to me, but I think tiers lists like this can just be a bit of fun! I personally like them and make them for Pokemon, so carry on! Keep in mind it's just for fun, and I don't see any harm in it!

I've been monitoring this conversation for a bit, and although I had to remove several comments for baiting, I don't think one side has been anymore heated than another side! It also hasn't really gotten past civility until today, really. Please keep things kind and agree to disagree where you have to!

Several comments here got flagged for being in the wrong forum, but I'm a little confused as to why? Everyone's been talking about undead things and necromancy for a bit, and they're all about that, so they seem on topic to me.
Just as a note, we can't move individual comments on a thread for being in the wrong forum. We can only move whole threads, so flagging a comment as in the wrong forum doesn't really do much? Just wanted to let you all know!
All this being said, I see no issue with these comments, so I'm removing the flags!

Pacifist Paladin wrote: In general 2e seems to have moved away from top-down "this is the Canon™ truth of the universe" to more in-universe commentary and theories on what that truth could be.
I am usually pretty down on the in universe fiction included in rulebooks but I wouldn't mind the inclusion of an in-universe debate on necro-ethics in IM, similar to some of the stuff we saw in SoM. Paizo can have it's cake and eat it too, allowing the differing in-universe perspectives to do the heavy lifting.
Want to have a character that thinks Pharasma is a wrong or a lier? Cool! Want to have an edge lord who thinks they're doing a little evil to stop the big Evil? Great! And that can spiral out into the opinions of non-necromancers and how they see it.
It'd be a win-win and maximize character concepts, which I'd wager is what Paizo will prioritize.
Not saying this as someone who works here, but I like the flexibility! Sometimes I hear about a concept and have an idea about it, and get really excited to play it, and then get discouraged when a big scary book says "Ha! You thought you could fanaticize in the fantasy book??? How foolish!" That being said, I do enjoy when things are canon, but I just also enjoy the flexibility.

Happy Pride to all! Just a reminder that although June is Pride Month of course, we really do care about making our spaces welcome and safe for everyone and the queer community all throughout the year. Representation is just as important on December 9th as it is in June! It's always important! We don't poof away after June ends! Although if I did have the ability to disappear in a puff of smoke, I cannot guarantee that I would not use this ability... all the time....

I just wanted to say that I'm in the forums reading and responding and helping where I can every day! I bring threads to the team for further review when applicable, and the Rules & Lore team also uses the Errata suggestions threads when they review possible errata. Please do not take decrease in posting from the team as lack of involvement! A lot of the time it's just the fact that the team members are pretty busy and don't have as much time to socialize as we'd like to! Regardless of that, I'm always here. I basically live here. If you need anything to get to the team, direct it to me, and I'll do my best when applicable!

I forgot to update you all yesterday! I took this to the team, and they said that it's definitely an issue. Some orders didn't jump to the next correct date, so they show Nova Rush this next month, not the correct product the following month, and they will get it fixed ASAP! They're doing a deep dive on this today! Thank you all for bringing this to our attention!

Twas a bit of word play. Now the fun part is rolling high enough on Maya Lore check to determine if you are Fey or Fiend (Devil) as both love to make use of word play.
My intuition learns towards Fey though.
Fey in theory. Fiend in practice. (I'm bad at it)

0xTJ wrote: I'm seeing High Seas being gone, though I also have the Nova Rush Flip-Mat showing up again for the upcoming order. I did have some issues with my June subscriptions and had to get some things tweaked by CS, so this could just be something specific to me. Would that mean you are receiving the map twice? Definitely reach out to CS about this to see if this is an isolated issue! I haven't heard any others mention this map specifically, so it'd be best to do that just in case!
I just heard back from the team! Our system didn't process the Lost Omens subscription line correctly after High Seas shipped, so things got funky. This should be resolved for the vast majority of customers now, and the team is fixing about a dozen or so customers by hand today! The vast majority are set though!

I had a processing issue this month and now my shipment for this month has been stuck at "awaiting fulfillment" for nearly a week. I'd like to know when the shipping window ends, so I know when to contact customer service, if my book doesn't get shipped soon. There isn't really a concrete estimate on shipping windows right now since it fluctuates for everyone and we did just have some restructuring. I'd recommend for shipping questions, to always just reach out to Customer service at their email customer.service@paizo.com for best info on your specific order and resolutions for it!

Since the last day of June is also a week from today! Sorry for my poor wording before. I meant last week of June as in the last week that contains dates from June, which is next week!
Nicolas Paradise wrote: Took long enough for the forum to come!
I like this Pallemi quite a bit. I like that their being a construct was a willing choice as opposed to a soul being forced to power a golem type thing. It also serves as a great way for the character to have a grand backstory but still be a level 1 adventurer.
Can't wait for the Icoic Encounter with them.
So sorry about the delay! I usually make these, and I was out last week moving house!
As a fan of thinking up a construct of this nature, I'm also a BIG fan of Pallemi.
