Oh, another note! Thank you also, OP, for emphasizing that the issues you took up with here were personal and based on our past statements rather than bringing up politics, as that would be against our guidelines. Everything here seems valid as far as feedback is concerned. I don't consider all opinions that disagree or express negativity to be automatically baiting.
Hey all! Just jumping in here to say that this doesn't feel like a troll post to me at all. It seems OP has genuine concerns about the depictions in the Society Scenario and is absolutely allowed to express their discomfort around it, especially since it was done in the civil manner we hope to see on our forums! Thank you for this feedback, and I'll pass it along to the team!

Yes, low level dad jokes only!!! You will be missed! I really do love being a part of this community, and I'm so glad to have been given the opportunity to join you all in this capacity ^_^
You bring up some good points, and I'll be sure to include a Product Discussion section when the new forums get made! You're also right in that some of the old threads can still be added to as this is a rolling process the team are still working on. Some can and some can't, but the aim is to have none of them have the ability to be added to. It's just honestly a rather painstaking process. Thank you for seeing our vision for freezing the old forums but keeping them viewable and read-only! It's impossible to expect everyone to remember exactly what they were just talking about when they want to continue, so I think that's the best way to do it. We'll still keep you updated on the changes when they come around!

Yes, we wanted to make sure you knew that questions during this time might not be responded to in the same timely fashion, not because of negligence, but because the usual bridge of the worlds (me) will be out of office!
NeonBorealis wrote: So hey. If I purchased the Hellbreakers PDF for 50 dollars, will I get a refund now that the price has adjusted? I believe as Rue stated above, the changes shouldn't have gone into effect already, so if you paid the higher price, please reach out to Customer Service at customer.service@paizo.com to rectify it!
Lonesomechunk wrote: I appreciate you linking Andrew's response Maya and I am aware of it, however Paizo also said they were working on a new site for a very long time before we started getting concrete confirmation of it, much less any details or dates. Being told its being looked into is nice and all but doesn’t do much to assuage concerns when it could be months away, if it ever comes. I don't want to be rude, and I totally understand price increases are inevitable eventually, but its a bit concerning to be told its because of rising production costs when its being applied to old books that have already been made as well, especially ones like adventures that rarely, if ever, see any form of errata short of a full reprint or hardcover compilation. I could understand increasing the costs of frequently errata'd books like player cores due to the upkeep they seem to require, but this is all purely speculation. Just to be very clear, I don't think you have to apologize for being rude because I don't think you've been even slightly rude! I think everyone in this thread is expressing valid frustrations, and I'm glad you all feel comfortable to do so. This was a hard choice for the team to make and even harder to announce since we knew it would be painful to hear. Thank you all for being honest but for also being civil with your honesty. I respect it highly, and I'm glad to be a part of this community.
For those who have missed it being discussed in other places on our forums, the Foundry discounts have been address both here on our forums and on our social media. Take a look at one of Andrew's responses here!
Check out today's blog for an update about the prices of our PDFs moving forward from our CEO, Jim!
All hell breaks loose in this month's new releases! Brave the fires of adventure and emerge unscathed in the Pathfinder Adventure Path: Hellbreakers, Operation Hellmouth, A Pathfinder Novel, and more in yesterday's blog!
Hello Everyone! After much deliberation from the team, we decided I should actually make an official announcement about this just in case my absence is noticed and causes alarm. I'm having surgery next week, and I need to heal and grow my blood back! I will be out of office starting on March 10th, and I will return on March 30th. The team will be covering my usual bases, but because they also have their own daily responsibilities, please expect forum and social media interaction to be slower during this time! I will miss all of you! It's a very long time to be away, and I have a lovely home here. I will catch up with everything when I get back to the office on Monday the 30th. Please also do not use this as a time to take advantage of my absence! All accounts that have warnings, please note those warnings are still in place, and the team has been informed on how to take action when I'm not here if necessary. That being said, I'm issuing a new warning for every member of our forums! Be less funny! If I hear I missed your best Tar-Baphon or especially Chk-Chk jokes while I was in a hospital bed, I will be very upset! For the record, if it wasn't already clear, this is a joke warning! Best,
Just for the record, I did not say old product pages would be coming back. I said we have no intention to get rid of the old forum content, which is not the same thing, unfortunately. The product pages are not technically "gone." They still exist, but they're kind of hidden within the site and can no longer be added to. The aim when we switch forums is to not have the old forum content hidden in the same way. Ideally, we'd want it to still viewable and easily visible as a resource, but also will not be able to be interacted with, more like a library than a forum. The reason being that the new forums would also have their own Play-By-Post ability, but because it would be impossible to make sure all campaigns are finished before a switch like this, we'd need players to still be able to access their campaigns so they can continue them on whatever the new forums end up being. Please also keep in mind these are all goals and aspirations for a plan we are still working on. Nothing is set in stone right now!
It is very difficult, but we're doing our best! Since I spend the most time in the forums on our team, I've been deeply involved in the talks about the migration. I'm looking at how I interact with you all and how you all interact with each other as huge factors that we need to make sure still shine through in whatever system we use. Some things can of course be improved, like thread organization on the main forum page, but the spirit of how we interact should still be consistent. I'll do my best, AFigureOfBlue ^_^
Drago95 wrote: I did that last week - still waiting to hear back. Thanks again. You're welcome! Please keep in mind they are just three people handling all those tickets, and they're doing their best. We appreciate your patience! Remember as well, when they respond, either way, you will receive a code, either your original one or a new one!

Our old blogs don't have links to forum posts, as they used to just have conversations on the blogs themselves, and we can't go back through all of these and retroactively add forum posts, but all blogs made after the November site change do have links to the forum conversation threads that I post at the bottom!

This is actually something planned for our new forums!! As a fan of the fiction myself, I've been advocating for it!!
carlbidwell wrote: Seems like a few of us are hunting for the Player’s Guides in the new setup—Paizo’s redesign definitely makes finding them a bit of a treasure hunt! For future Player's Guides at least, the blogs we release are pretty good maps! However for older ones, we're still working on making sure those are in good places on their product pages, like the Gatewalkers one we made a mistake on! We're doing our best ^^
Curmudgeonly wrote: Thanks Calcryx, how did you find that? it's not listed on the AP pages, that I can see... Please note that we haven't actually publicly released the Player's Guide yet, which is why it's not on the page! It just got sleuthed! All Player's Guides get released with a blog, so if you don't see a blog for the guide you're looking for, it's not out yet officially!
