Let's not think humans are without bias when talking about their friends. These guys clearly have selected their sides and conclusions as well.
Small reminder that all these emails went to me personally, and I'm still working through them! I can't respond to all of them, but I'm reading them all, taking notes, and passing on my findings to the team!
It's still being worked on and on my radar! I'll update when it's done!
I've moved this to Second Edition Adventure Path General Discussion where I think it's better suited! Thanks for the flag, Cori Marie!

It's not against the rules to discuss dissenting opinions nor is it against the rules to publicly discuss moderation decisions. If you look at my posts, I've welcomed discussion for moderation decisions, and as said previously in this thread, the multiple threads about the AoN discussion are proof enough that discussing it isn't against the rules.
Your post was removed for baiting! As always, if you ever have any questions about why a post or comment was removed, you can ask me here publicly or in DMs! I value myself in being as transparent as they come!
pauljathome wrote: A sincere thank you for that Maya. You are appreciated.
I can indeed now see the reviews.
Now the reviews themselves weren't particularly useful but I'm pretty sure that is NOT something that you can help me with :-) :-) :-) :-)
I do all I can!! Glad it helped as best as possible though!

Oh, great news very quickly! This is a known issue that the team is working on, so hopefully it will be resolved soon! I'll keep you updated!
Hey pauljathome! First, I know you were initially looking for reviews about SFS scenarios, since this is also a general question about reviews on the website, I've moved it to General Discussion, as it was also flagged for being in the wrong forum.
As for your question, it seems you're right! I checked the website, and the bottom of the page just shows all the reviews. In addition, when I clicked like the "2 reviews" next to a specific product, it then took me to all the reviews rather than those reviews. So, I'll reach out to the webstore team about this and get back to you as soon as I can!

Reminder as well to everyone that I'm working on a project for an easily accessible folder of ALL art that abides by our Community Use Policy for anyone to view and use. It's paused right now because of Gen Con and the Mariners game, but it's my main priority once those are finished!

Demolish ◆, ◆◆ or ◆◆◆
You Strike an object with your bulk. Make a Strength check vs a basic DC, quadrupling your Strength modifier. Your damage is at x2 (One Action) x4 (Two Action) or x8 (Three Action) (doubled on a successful Critical result) and ignores Hardness. When Demolish is completed, make an Intimidation check on all who can see it.

On a silly whim, I asked Jason Keeley if he could make Jimothy a companion in the game, and he then... totally did.
Keep in mind, Pathfinder Second Edition and Starfinder Second Edition are compatible now, so you can play with Jimothy in BOTH GAMES! Here is the detailed info written out!
Jimothy
Unique, Animal, Minion
Through much coaxing and patience, you are blessed with the aid of Jimothy, the creature of legend. Jimothy is a raccoon-like creature with thin limbs and a round body. All who look upon him are blessed.
Size Small
Melee [one-action] jaws (finesse), Damage 1d6 piercing
Str +1, Dex +3, Con +1, Int –4, Wis +1, Cha +2
Hit Points 4
Skill Stealth
Senses low-light vision, scent (imprecise, 30 feet)
Speed 30 feet
Special Jimothy doesn’t grow larger in size when he advances, though he gains all the other benefits. Jimothy can use his hands to perform simple Interact actions, such as picking up an unattended object, but he can’t wield weapons.
Support Benefit The very sight of Jimothy lifts your allies’ spirits. Choose yourself or one ally within 30 feet of Jimothy who can see Jimothy. Until the start of your next turn, they gain a +2 circumstance bonus to saves against emotion effects.
Advanced Maneuver Tumbling Swipe
Tumbling Swipe [two-actions]
Manipulate, Move
Jimothy Strides up to his Speed. During this movement, he can try to move through the space of one enemy and take a small object from them. Jimothy attempts a Stealth check against the enemy's Reflex DC as soon as he tries to enter its space.
Critical Success Jimothy moves through the enemy's space and takes an object of negligible Bulk from the enemy that is worn but not closely guarded (such as a pouch). Jimothy must have a free hand to take the object. If he doesn't have enough Speed to move all the way through its space, Jimothy gets the same effect as a failure.
Success As critical success, but Jimothy treats the squares in the enemy’s space as difficult terrain (every 5 feet costs 10 feet of movement).
Failure Jimothy’s movement ends, and he triggers reactions as if he had moved out of the square he started in.
Critical Failure As failure, but Jimothy also then falls prone.

fritterfae wrote: Forgive me if this has been asked and answered. I've searched the thread and didn't find mention of it so here goes.
In 2018 you officially announced that Archives of Nethys would be serving as the official system reference document for both Pathfinder and Starfinder for OGL purposes. I know that you've moved to a new ORC open license so I'm not certain how that obligates/interacts with the need to have and maintain a reference document that specifically identifies the non IP game content within the system. So if you're ending the partnership with AON to provide them with this documentation are they no longer operating as the official PFRD and SFRD for these game systems? And if not where will those free and open rule systems be maintained?
I unfortunately do not have an official reply for this, but I can say as someone who uses AoN myself and speaking on behalf of a lot of our team members who do, it's definitely still our main go-to resource for online rules! We use it often, and we like using it! For an official capacity, I cannot say! We don't know right now! But on an unofficial capacity, AoN is great, and I use it daily along with the books on my shelf.

As always, thank you for all your work and the reply. I don't envy your position in times like these with so much activity.
I will politely reiterate my suggestion that something that could help in general with community perception about Paizo's communication in future would be marking that a comment has been removed instead of just "making it disappear", for lack of a better phrasing.
I appreciate your apology! I also agree with you wholeheartedly! This is a feature that we are keeping at high priority for our future forums. We realize that these forums kind of work like we took all the bad comments to a scary black site, and that doesn't feel good. We're hoping that the future system will allow us to communicate even more transparently about moderation! It's one of the factors I am bringing up in each discussion with possible future platforms!

Your post was removed for baiting and calling us bozos. Calling us bozos would be using an insult. That's kind of it! I read it and wanted to keep it since a lot of it was valid criticism, and I considered just getting rid of the insult, but it seemed the insult was also part of your point, and paraphrasing feels like a gross over-management. For those reasons, it had to be removed as per our Community Guidelines. I'll keep these comments since we're just having a transparent discussion about it!

As the person removing comments, I am not just removing comments of dissenting opinion! If I was doing that, I'm not sure there would be a thread at all. We need the dissenting opinions to see where we failed here so it doesn't happen again. You can't get better if you only listen to praise.
Comments here have only been removed for breaking our forum guidelines, and so far the rule-breaks I have seen were mostly baiting, insults, and excessive swearing (I say excessive because on SOME posts, I have just removed the swear and noted that the post was edited to remove said swear so as to keep their feedback and opinion accurate and immortalized.).

On Paizo's side, do they just press a button or something, to enable that? Computers and programming is not my thing. How much extra would it take to make everything repeatable?
It is my understanding that this is actually quite difficult for all involved, but a worthy hurdle!

Redelia wrote: I think you've got this completely backwards.
The community and Paizo were partners in building up this game. Now Paizo is inferring, and some of Paizo's supporters in these threads, are telling us "Either support everything we do or we are going out of business." And having been bullied with that bluff too many times already in the past, we are calling their bluff.
I do want to address this and say that we are not intending to bully anyone or make any bluffs. The blog was just to explain what happened with the Archives of Nethys crew from our end. We have no control nor seek to control over whatever you choose to do with that information. Choosing to support us or not support us is your prerogative, now as it always has been.
All that being said, we're listening to your concerns here. I'm passing on important info to the rest of the team as well as team members reading it themselves to understand your perspectives. I'm reading every single one of the 1200+ emails I've received about this to better inform us of what we could do moving forward to fill the space that all of this has created. I just wanted to make that very clear!

As an update, for first steps as I've mentioned in this thread and some others, I'll be working with the team to get a massive Community Use Art package that will fill some of those art holes at least. We've been in discussion of doing this for a while now, but we acknowledge that we need it now more than ever. This project will be kicked into full gear after Gen Con because Gen Con is... well... Gen Con. It's busy. BUT yes, it will be kicked into gear after! It's just one step, but hopefully it's one of many that will get things back on track!

As always, I'm still here reading and moderating! I have to say it's a shame that some posts had to be removed for baiting, insults, and swearing. I say that because all your opinions are helpful and valued, and if I have to remove them because of breaking a rule, it feels like silencing where I'd rather not. Some of the posts hurt, sure, but no one is free of valid criticism.
Anyway, please keep things civil so that your voices can be heard and not removed with a mod hammer!
