Alchemist Dedication after Rework / Remaster

Rules Discussion

After the remaster the Alchemist class gets Powerful Alchemy as a free feat, therefore Powerful Alchemy is no longer a feat you can take. This means that RAW (AFAIK) you cannot get Powerful Alchemy as if you have the Alchemist Dedication any more. It is still listed as a requirement for Potent Poisoner, so it seems like Expert Alchemy should unlock Powerful Alchemy.

Is this an intentional change, i.e. that dedication alchemists shouldn't be able to get Powerful Alchemy any more?

I would expect that this is the sort of edge case player core 2 will address.

As I mentioned earlier, this isn't a change made in the Remaster. This is a change made in the 2nd printing errata of the Core Rulebook.

PC2 and the new printing of Alchemist may make some changes, yes.

But for the current rules, Potent Poisoner requires you to have a class feature named Powerful Alchemy. No you can't get that from the Alchemist Archetype. Yes, that may be unintended and is a viable candidate for houseruling.

lol, who is going to spend their level 20 feat on potent poisoner?

Alright, thanks for the clarification!
