Its been a long time since ive last played the rpg Rifts. Thought id ask on here if anyone is interested in playing in a desolate far-future america with crazy D-bees, rail cannons, magic, cyborgs, Saamas armor,and so on.
To be up front with everyone who reads this, its been 25 years since ive played, so id relearning the system.

Always wanted to play RIFTS - even have a few sourcebooks.
I think I would be seriously hard pressed just with the character creation, but would give it a go.
The biggest problem is trying to pick a subset of all those rules to keep things sane.
I would definitely be in if went the route of Savage Rifts, unsure with the Pal Rifts....
It would depend on the available books, etc..
Id be using just the first Rifts sourcebook
Smart...with what...24+ world and other source books...the options get headache inducing :)
That sounds super cool, I always wanted to play rifts, at least the setting was always fascinating. Though I'm not sure I have it in me to learn a new system with two little ones at home.
If we are just using the core book, I would be interested.
I would love to. I only got a tiny taste of Rifts and then it ended shortly afterwards.

B-but....RIFTS is Palladium (unless you use Savage RIFTS) - is there a GURPS version of RIFTS?
Ok. I see that there is some interest in this, which is cool.
Im going to read up some more on character creation, and i think the best thing to do would build a character step by step so that everyone is on the same page.
Ill get a proper recruit thread going in a couple days and will detail character crwation, setting, and so on.
