I have removed several posts and posts with quoted content due to profanity/vulgar speech. That kind of language is not tolerated here and trying to bypass the profanity filter by typing in special characters is also not acceptable. The English language has many intelligent alternatives that are less offensive to the members of our community.

Since campaigns normally occupy at most like a decade of someone's life, I simply can't see "live forever" as a thing an actual person would spend a feat on in a real game. Let's be real, did anybody play a core monk in PF1 and not (at least plan to ) trade away Timeless Body with a Qinggong or other Archetype swap?

If we just want to give it to an npc for whatever reason, we don't need a class feat for it. Having PCs basically ride into the sunset to be out of the narrative once they hit level 20 means I don't really need to worry about what they're going to do 50 years from now.

Just saying, there definitely are people who would take a feat like that. I'm among them, and from my short time being obsessed with Pathfinder I've found that I'm far from the only one.

I understand that there are a lot of other stuff that is wanted more than an ageless feat, but there are definitely those who want it, even if it provides no mechanical benefit.

I think the thing with that is, where do you put it? As a class feat, it's a no go as it represents a significant departure from keeping class feats along the same level of power across the board. General feat seems odd to just say, "I no longer age because reasons." Legendary skill feat feels appropriate, maybe Occult or Survival.

However, as a rider to another class feat, also feels like something we could see. Like...

"Timeless Body: You no longer age. Additionally, your years of experience push your training to its limits. At the start of every day, choose a skill in which you are expert in. Your proficiency increases to master until your next daily preparations."

Or something along those lines.

I think my idea about reducing the slowed condition had merit. Perhaps a level 14 feat granting a free action to reduce your slowed condition by 1?

A bit more powerful at reducing slow than Quickened Heartbeat, but without the ability to give yourself haste it seems reasonable.

I think, if such a feat were to exist, it would be cool if it was a high level archetype feat. Limiting a cool flavor feat to a class can make a lot of sense, but it would also be really cool if you had a barbarian that was just too stubborn to die (or whatever gives them the ability to keep on trucking) or whatever your favorite class is.

Implying that the OP isn't an actual person would be really uncalled for. And as many of these threads as they made looking for ways to do this, I think it's a reasonable bet that they would spend a feat.

It's not something that I would want to be a feat, instead of a bespoke story arc, and I think that having it as an option to grab as a feat is kind of a net negative. But that doesn't mean no one wants it.

Hi, I hope I'm not ressurecting anything, but I also seek immortality whenever possible. So, there's the Mind Swap ritual in Secrets of Magic.

It allows you to change body with someone of your ancestry, so you can change to a younger body and "live forever", Orochimaru style. You don't even need to have Occultism, you can just be friends with someone that has. It IS an evil act, but I think this add extra spice to it. It must be heightned to level 9th, so you can only use it if both you and the ritual caster are level 17th+. And it costs some gold, but FAR LESS than the orchid sun elixir of something something.

It is the one in-game, RAW rule I found, that is not being a monk or druid to "be immortal". Hope this helps.

If you're cool with probably evil options, the ritual Bathe in Blood has also released since this thread was last touched.

We now have the Book of the Dead coming out. To my understanding, there are a number of archetypes in there that can handle any concerns you might have about dying from old age. Indeed, the desire to not die from old age is pretty much *the* classic reason to become a lich. Technically, those are handled via archetype feats, so....

I also note that brewing the Sun Orchid Elixir takes a month per dose normally.. but as far as I can tell by reading the rules, if a lvl 20 PC alchemist managed to actually get the recipe by some means, they'd e able to brew up stacks of the things every morning with infused reagents, just like everything else.

That's probably true by RAW, but probably not intended. Unlike normal elixirs, this takes a month to craft. While I don't see anything that prevents the specific exceptions of advanced or quick alchemy from working normally, an item that takes a month to craft instead of 4 days really shouldn't be treated the same way.

More fun ambiguity. Your new body begins in peak health, regardless of what your actual condition was at that age. Any physical or mental imperfections— including scars, lost limbs, and curses, diseases, poisons of 20th level or lower— are removed.

Peak health and removing physical and mental imperfections is probably intended to be just fixing the sorts of issues listed, but at first glance it made me think of the super soldier serum and I wondered if it would alter your ability scores.

Also found another way: Unending Youth.
All you gotta do is accept to obey the command of an evil queen whenever she wants, 1 minute per day.

It's on the Legends book.

But hey! You get young again and cease againg and may even lower your Doomed condition to 0 once per day.
Of course, you'd have to be really useful as a person for Queen Abrogail to be interested in making a contract with you, but still.

Very belated apology from me upon being proven wrong! We have archetypes coming out with immortality capstone feats a year from now, and immortality capstones on the new classes being playtested.

I definitely like the idea of getting a bunch of archetypes based on different types of immortality. I hope there are some more common ones but I wouldn't be surprised if they were all rare though
