While I eagerly await a resolution to the second part of my April shipment, I have a timely question for anyone to answer, customer service or otherwise...
Can I purchase Paizo gift certificates using pre-purchased Visa or MasterCard gift cards?
My intent is to continue using store credit to pay for my monthly subscriptions. But I'd prefer to use Visa or MasterCard pre-paid gift cards to purchase the store credit.
Thank you in advance for a response. This directly affects how I go about paying for my upcoming May subscriptions.
(I've asked a similar question in the past w/o receiving an answer, so I've posted this same question in the April thread).

You can. I've done it. The primary thing you need to do is go onto the gift card web site and set up your name/address on the gift card so Paizo's back end card validation will work.
How exactly you go about that depends on the gift card, but every gift card I've ever purchased has had a web site that goes along with it.

Just to flag that Pathfinder AP #130 is not showing anywhere on the My Subscriptions page in my account. The next volume to ship according to that page is PF #131 which is incorrect. Appreciate that info is not always accurate but given I've not had April SF AP volume yet I wanted to avoid a problem with May's shipment as well.
Thanks

A common problem I have seen reported in this forum is the breakup of subscription (and other) orders into weird combinations of multiple packages even though it would seem to make more sense in most cases for all of the ordered items to be shipped together.

Auth appears to be all wrapped up. If your order has issues, please let us know by email/starting a new thread as soon as possible. We're going to start shipping things out as soon as we can (probably late this afternoon or first thing tomorrow).
Yea! Looking forward to "Blood of the Ancients"!

Have you guys managed to reduce your S&H? I could swear that the S&H for a single AP used to be more.
My UPS ground shipping on the AP and Companion to Alabama is almost $23. Are you using the standard shipping?

I think they started on Wednesday the 16th (possibly Tuesday 15th, based on Sara's post above).
I suspect they'll struggle to get it all wrapped up before Paizocon, given the delay in authorisations this month. So I can't imagine it being any sooner than the 30th (Friday 1st June would be my guess).

Count me in the "still waiting for April shipments" group. My books and my Hydra miniature are sitting somewhere in the warehouse, waiting for their escape. Thankfully, I was lucky enough to get my Jungle of Despair case.
Did you get any part of your order, or is the whole thing still hung up?
The customer service log says they are caught up through May 7th. My guess is that just means private emails to customer service, otherwise I think I'd have heard from them by now.

Like you, I got the Jungle of Despair case, but no Hydra or books. My order page now lists them as part of the May shipment.

I see people talking about shipping, personally I would be happy with USPS Media Mail for my books. Until, They are authorized for Society use they don't hold much worth to me.
USPS rules prohibit Paizo from using USPS Media Mail shipping options. See this comment from Vic. Those standards are still in effect according to the USPS website.

Looked at a Player Companion and my Advanced Player's Guide and both of those would qualify as "incidental announcements of books". I've seen novels with more book announcements in them than what I saw in the 2 I checked.
I think the real reason is that they don't want the extra hassle of even more separated shipments as only the books and audio recordings qualify. Flip-mats, and other non-bound materials would have to ship separately.
I'm sure that if I took any of the books in and talked with the MDO at the local P&DC or the NDC about an hour from here they would say that they qualify.

Paizo work in this business and their whole job is resolving these issues. They do that literally for a living. May I ask what are your credentials before believing your anonymous messageboard conjecture over their official statement?
