Is there any god / godess / demigod / ect whose sacred weapon is a bomb?

Advice

Is there any god/godess/demigod/ect whose sacred weapon is a bomb?

I have an alchemist in my game who wants to take the Sentinel Prestige Classes with bombs in a few levels and none come to mind.

Not the 20 in the core book...

Scarab Sages

Your best shot would be some obscure Archdevil/Demon Price/Daemonic Harbinger/Qlippoth Lord.

Scarab Sages

No, there are none. While the bomb is a weapon for the purpose of feats, it's more of a class feature than a weapon, so I wouldn't expect any deity to have it as a favored weapon.

The closest thing I can think of Cixyron, a Daemonic Harbinger with a Musket as a favored weapon.

That wouldn't work well. Your alchemist would be better served by taking levels in Evangelist, as that would advance his bombs, extracts, mutagens, discoveries, etc., while providing him additional class skills and so forth.

In a game I was in we had a goblin "cleric" (read: alchemist) who worshipped the great god K'Boom. The guy was awesome to play with, as he fleshed out pantheon to contain K'Boom's brother, K'Blam, and his son, K'Blooie. The universe was started when K'Boom and K'Blam came together and created the first bomb, resulting in the Big Bang. K'Boom is the god of things that violently explode, and K'Blam is the god of the things that explode violently.
While that particular pantheon probably won't fit into your game, it probably wouldn't be too hard to justify a goblin god of fire having his favoured weapon be some form of bomb :)

How does the Evangelist Cleric Archetype advance his Bombs, Extracts, Mutagens, Discoveries, etc? Am I missing something in the description?

Have you heard the Word of Atom, brother? He welcomes all into his radiant presence! These weapons of war are our salvation!

Scarab Sages

No, the Evangelist PrC.

Wrong Evangelist.

Thats actually very nice, and I have that book. However, it does state as a pre-requisite the ability to cast 3rd level spells. Do extracts count as spells? Was there an official ruling on that because this might be a nice idea for one of my characters.

Basically, the only drawback is that the prior class progression is delayed by one level? Do I understand that correct?

Look at the prerequisites carefully. You don't NEED 3rd level spells, you need AT LEAST ONE of the BAB, skill rank or 3rd level spell requirements, not all three at the same time.(As well as deific obedience and all the other requirements that are not the BAB, skill and spell requirements) This is so martial, skillmonkey and casters each have their own entry method.(Though hilariously enough for spontaneous casters with delayed spell progression(Sorc, Oracle, Arcanist) the skill requirement is often "faster" to meet than the spell one and thus the preferred entry method.) As an alchemist, with 6+ int skill ranks and int-based "casting" the skill rank requirement will be something you should naturally meet just by leveling, so use that to qualify instead of spells.

Unfortunately, extracts do not count as spells so you are out of luck there.

EDIT:Or apparently it doesn't matter since there is a choice of what prereqs to fulfill. I should really have gone and read the PrC before posting

My mistake. SO, as an Alchemist you would qualify by selecting a diety within one step of your alignment, taking one feat, and putting 5 ranks in a skill. 5 levels in alchemist and you could easily transition to this PrC. Now to check on the diefic obedience benefits.

EDIT: I was ninjaed...so I have removed this redundant post after the fact! =D

Thanks for the impute!

Norgorber's Evangelist abilities directly add additional capability to bombs. I think it's the only one that directly alters the existing alchemist class abilities beyond the base Evangelist PrC's ability to advance another class.

Nogorber is a God right?
Are they listed somewhere? Havent found what he gives evanga yet

Scarab Sages

Norgorber info, including boons.

If you take a class in warpriest, couldn't you use the weapon focus feat on bombs. Thus allowing you sacred bombs?

Sadly they prevented that.. i would've loved it

"This increase in damage does not affect any other aspect of the weapon, and doesn't apply to alchemical items, bombs, or other weapons that only deal energy damage."

Silver Crusade

If you're willing to accept a little homebrew, I would consider myself one...

Why yes, people should worship me as a deity.

I already favorited this post, but I just really want this to be a thing.
