OK item, you're not only not different enough from an existing well-known PFRPG item, you're not different enough from the original well-known item that has existed since the days of Gygax.

Had the same thought when I saw that one. (presuming we're discussing the same one but I think we are.) It also sort of borders on jokey, because there was no reason to give it THAT particular name when it applies to more things, so it definitely feels like a modern/real-world shout-out more than anything. Does Golarion even definitively have X?

Auras come in three strengths, faint, moderate, and strong. If you item has an aura strength different that this, it's either an artifact, or you're just making up terms. Either equals a downvote.

The more voting I do the more angry "Joke" items make me. Not "Funny" items, items using humor or alliteration that are honest contest entries may or may not always be my cup of tea but are fine.
I mean items that make no attempt at the contest and honestly feel mocking to the voters and the contest itself. Really upsetting due to the lack of respect towards how much effort contestants, judges, and all others involved with the contest have put in.

Yeah, but no. You have all these über abilities for ridiculously cheap, and your "drawback" is negligible. If you are so good a PC would take you over any other item at twice or thrice your price, you are broken. Worse, your brokenness makes your owner a spotlight hog.

You know, I like joke items, too. They can help to break up the monotony of voting. But I sort of wish there was a separate entry for joke items, specifically. Then, maybe, after so many votes, instead of getting another pair to vote on, you're given a joke item to help you laugh. I just get tired of having a joke item in a voting pair.
Is it legal to resubmit a slightly modified version of your item from a previous contest?

Well, that looks like a plot device item. And not a very original plot. It also seems to give penalties when it should give bonuses. That's weird. Down vote.
I just had to vote up an item that gave an insight bonus but never specified the number because it was up against an item with a word in the name comes right out of the real world.
