Complicated but original item wins against obvious variant of an existing item.

Have now seen two items that hyperlink out... to D20PFSRD. *buzzer noise*
And another designed in less than 5 minutes item. With almost proper formatting this time, but even less original than the previous one :-(
You are a GM item. And your designer must really enjoy playing sadistic tricks on his players :-/

Lion is definitely the animal of choice this season. Unconscious homage to that famous lion who got killed recently ?
Well-formatted, badly written SIAC vs. very badly written, badly formatted item with no special abilities other than a drawback? Hmmmmm.
Many doppelgänger-y items this year.
This item is overcomplicated, impossible to manage as a GM and a cursed item to boot.
Oh dear. Like many other entrants, you should have used the preview function, Mystery Designer. I mean, that applies for lots of items, but... you really needed it. You lost half your basic readability to that.
This item feels like it has been written by a kid. Maybe it has.
If you had gone without the plot device aspect, your item would have been better :-/

OK, I get what this does but...why not just take the thing?

Tuxedo mask, is that you?
No, really, wizards are pretty powerful already without needing an uber buff.
Wonderfully imaginative, though the crunch would need some revision IMO.

Name differs between title and description :-(
Description's name is better IMO
Mission Impossible would like their hearing apparatuses back
Oh hey, Harry Potter item.
Whole lotta speaking with dead dudes this year.
First ability is GREAT. It is the rest that have should been trimmed. Sadly the end result is an overpriced SAK :-(
Good for you that the other item is an unoriginal SiaC.
I have seen at least two items inspired by snow globes :-)

Urn versus urn...only the urn can win!
Plot device loses to unformatted item :-/
Pseudo-technological item beats badly formatted and phrased SIAC.
Saw one of the item I reviewed. It is really great and easily upvoted. Makes it to my Keep list actually.
No formatting vs No formatting. Fight !!!
Several people do hate the chakram's penalty in melee :-))
I am used to spell in a can, but feat in a can is cropping up for me a bit more.

+10 points for specifying the bonus type.
-10 million for not telling me what it's a bonus to.
How big is this ring supposed to be that it uses the hand slot?!
And another plot device. Far more of them than last year it seems.

Hang on hang on hang on... that's not an item, that's.... like number redacted items.
Just realised I forgot <very important thing> in my entry and I think it's DQ-worthy. Welp.

I think this year's theme is Dockside Tavern.
I'm thinking "party in the library" - I seem to have seen quite a few books so far too!

I'm pretty sure you designed the hat from the D&D cartoon, except it's not a hat.
It's ALL CAPS ITEM vs. no caps item! What a quandary!

Messing with incorporeal creatures seems to be a recurring theme.
I blame Monica's spectre blight.
Okay seeing another theme this year I'll call it "inspired by KY" as this pertains to at least 3 items.
Let's Remember its:
"Dexterity drain"
Not
"dex drain"
(Just an example, not from the actual text of the item.

Ah, the item that only gives you a bonus when you can't use it. How... zen.
I'm so glad those fireballs still smell like they normally do! I was worried for a second there.

In Character Quote!!! BLARGH!
Why do I keep running into this same joke item?! Leave me alone, the joke is stale!
kitty decided to vote for that boring item... bad kitty
