Seeing how one of the best garments for a witch is a corset, does it mean that if one decides to play as male witch he has to wear a corset? Wouldn't that bring too much attention to him?
Also, please tell me how a corset does not interfere with Arcane gestures, while light armour does :/

Corsets don't cover the arms - leather armor does.
Also a male witch could totally rock a corset if he wants to. Although I personally would see a Reanimator alchemist with ranks in Perform (Sing) if I went that route.

Just call it a "vest" rather than a corset and you're done.

And anyway, for the original question- he doesn't HAVE to wear a corset. He GETS to wear a corset. Preferably, go half orc so you can get whip proficiency.

I frequently play male witches and have had no problem with the corset wearing.
They make corsets for men, and they look damn good.
Icyblaze13 wrote: They make corsets for men, and they look damn good. True, men have been wearing girdles and corsets for centuries.
Just play a overweigth male witch and wear the corset under the shirt to help you in a more manly shape. That is more common than you Think.
Indeed, corsets have been for men as well, particularly in societies where a slim figure was valued. It's quite possible that it would be completely normal and draw no attention. Similarly, corsets do not necessarily prevent vigorous activity; during the second half of the 19th century, when corset wearing was common, there were sport corsets specifically designed to wear while bicycling, playing tennis, or horseback riding. Remember, not all corsets are necessarily kept tightly-laced.

So, I'm thinking about what races have a +Int bonus, thus making them the best sexy men witches in corsets. Elves are in, obviously, and so are gnomes. Let's see, sexy blue Samsarans, hot Wayangs... definitely seeing a lot of goth/short possibilities here.

Men wore corsets, just like they used to wear heels and hose. They stopped. Women still wear those things.
So... he will likely just look like a wealthier person who eats well and wants to appear thinner.
Male corset use persisted into the late 1800s. Though it should be noted that in general corsets are undergarments and thus would be worn under other clothing. So it would only really be as noticeable as a guy who wears a girdle with his tux, which honestly is required for a proper tux. Exterior corset wearing is solely the domain of fashion movements far more fickle that the general "slim waistline good" that corsets as a whole encompass, and thus up to the GM. In general though if ladies are rocking the modern throwback external corset thing, I'd probably have it in vogue for men as well. After all no better way to show off your pecs, without going full shirtless.
There was also the gloriously insane codpieces men used to wear, to exaggerate their manly traits.
An Iconic with one of those would be memorable at the very least! :)

you'd think spammers would know they're gonna get 'pinched in a cinch' posting to a corset thread. Bound to happen.
now a vermlek in a corset could be a rather rocky horror experience...
