Ok, seriously, does nobody know about the Pull universal monster ability? So many items are trying to duplicate the effect of it with Drags and weirder things. Why not just use the already extant rule?

Looking in the PF books, it seemed to me that most items didn't describe how they look. I took that as a signal there was meant to be something to let the GM/player use their imaginations on. I think you can go either way but over-description seems more of a mistake than under as far as aesthetics go. Maybe that's just me.

I've roughed out how to make a gunblade. That's not how you do it.

(Exotic Weapon Proficiency (Gunblade) to be able to take the shot during the strike, you decide before you hit and lose the ammo either way. It's counts as a bastard sword for one handed/two handed rules. And of course you need Firearms proficiency if guns aren't commonplace.)

Um, the drag maneuver is an extent rule. One specifically intended for PCs instead of monsters.

No, that isn't a gunblade - for one, that weapon is a sword or a gun, not both at once. A gunblade is bastard sword at least. Arguments for it being a greatsword are also available.

The black blade from the bladebound magus archetype comes to mind. Though that's not a specific item so much as an item that is linked to the character class.

It wouldn't surprise me if some of the older players supplied those. Dragon Magazine 72 for 2nd Edition D&D has an article of several joke/jock items. I've seen at least one item I could swear was made by a 2nd Edition ex-pat.

The Drag maneuver has very specific language that makes it...awkward at range. It also limits what you can do because you have to move while dragging. Pull would work significantly better for the half dozen or so items I have seen that try to use "ranged drag" or whatever else they did.

Not many. The Holy Avenger, from the core rule book, uses paladin level. A few other items use character and class levels.

Like on one item I can start out like "Oh god, why, no. Designer, have you ever tactical mapped before? Do you know how strong repositioning is? I have to downvote you. I couldn't let that kind of juggernaut into my games." then transition to "Well, at that WBL price you want those kind of tricks since you've really kinda lost your other options against appropriate CR.*sigh* How should I vote this..." and finish off with "Y'know what? It's a new option. New options are good. Whatever, I'll start upvoting you." all on the same item on different votes.
