I'd like to throw (pun intended) another point in favor of Starnkives:
Since they are a melee weapon you can add the Spell Storing enhancement to them. Delivering the spell also does not require a melee attack, it can be done with a thrown weapon. It creates some interesting options when bouncing that weapon around with the Startoss feats.
A Desna-worshipping Eldritch Scion Magus could be interesting.

The big advantage to a dagger is that you can safely stow it in a sheath when not used. A starknife strapped to a belt would be a precarious thing. Forget about running or jumping with multiple blades flailing about, better just hold the darn thing.
Granted pathfidner never made a specific item for it.
but there are sheaths for the closest traditional counter parts (though those were more spike based than sliced based) you could fairly safely strap it to your back with a harness as well and it wont' get in the way of rolling etc.

Yes, the design of the starknife doesn't make any sense whatsoever. It is one of the worst weapons in Pathfinder in regards to realistic, practical and believable design, maybe even the worst.
But since it seems to be protected by virtue of being a "creator's favourite", it is going to stay that way.

Has anyone made a Warpriest build using the Starknife?
A little feat-starved, but go human, all your levels count as fighter levels for specialization/combat feats, and an x3 crit at higher levels scales nicely.
Improved Crit at 9th, Improved Precise Shot, etc.
Archetype to taste, and probably go Dex to damage, though Guided Hand (Wis to hit) opens SAD possibilities...

You could also go with that archetype which gives Warpriests smite. It's a bit odd that it uses charisma, but divine fighting style helps out with using CHA for attack and damage. Maybe even a dip into Lore or Nature oracle for CHA to AC.
Then you just pump CHA while maintaining a decent WIS and CON.

I'm still waiting for a Warpriest archetype that makes the Warpriest a charisma based spontaneous caster (the equivalent to Eldritch Scion).

Champion of the Faith, but the charisma-to-hit from smite wouldn't stack with Desna's Shooting Star, so that's rather wasted.

I don’t know if this idea of mine is the best idea or the stupidest idea ever, but I like the idea of an entirely Charisma-based fighter who takes Desna’s fighting style at level 1, dumps intelligence, and uses Advanced Weapon Training to be one of the most charming people you can find (lots of the skill replacements with AWT are Charisma skills).

I've been tinkering with a charisma brawler that uses starknives with Versatile design [close] so they can use cha to flurry and more damage from Close Weapon Mastery. Splash a level of oracle for Cha to dex and ref and you're set.
