I feel I would be fine with either option, perhaps a slight leaning toward Aspis.
I imagine many of us are relatively happy with either one. I think at this point it might be easier to ask if anyone has a strong objection to one of the options instead?

Aspis, although at this time I've figured out how to work Holomog into my backstory if necessary, so I'm really fine with either.
I'd say that as the GM you just pick which you'll like more.

He did say he was allowing planetouched races, and I think fletchlings are planetouched.
I wasn't planning on it. They are like 17 RP. Higher than any of the other races I was considering. By planetouched I meant tieflings, aasmiar, ifrit, undine, sylphs, shaitans.
Not really, I mean if their rp is a problem just houserule away one of their skill bonuses and they are down to 15 same as an Aasimar. I love them for flavor. That said, I'm probably going in a different direction character wise anyway. Just like to stick up for my ashen friends :P
Jelani, not that I'd be likely to play a fetching, but I suspect that the 4d6 stat rolls will be far swingier than race choice.
