Still have two Triple Race: Naga/Shade/Vulpine boons to trade.
Got a Tien ancestry I don't mind trading either.

But I doubt I'll see anything before Gencon.

While I realize none of these are really an optimal offering for a race boon in such high demand, I don't yet know what boons (aside from GMing, which I intend to keep) I'll be getting at Gencon. I would love to get my hands on a racial boon of some sort. catfolk preferably, but goblin or kitsune would be cool as well. there are too many wayangs in my local group, don't wanna go there. dhampir and ifrit seem way too popular, won't even bother asking for them.

Since when was this allowed? I am sort of confused. You aren't allowed to trade gold and goods from other plays, how/why is this allowed? Man, cane a guy for house rules, but this is good?

The difference is that a boon is something the PLAYER has, gold items etc are things the character has.

Hey all. I'm from south-Africa. Only started this year. Our cons didn't have boons , so can't trade. But would really like a Kitsune boon if at all possible.

The difference is that a boon is something the PLAYER has, gold items etc are things the character has.

my understanding is boon trading or even gifting was encouraged, outright selling was prohibited.

I've seen boons for boons, services for boons (painting minis, etc), and several minis for boons.

While I knew trading for boons, gratitude, and even services was allowed, I didn't think boons could be traded for physical goods. After all, how would that be different from just selling them, since someone could just buy the item to trade for the boon?

I had seen others offering miniatures in trade, and didn't see anything explicitly prohibiting it. I'm new to PFS, only been involved a couple of months and was able to attend the con because it was local.

the minis I was offering were kickstarter exclusives. it's not like I just placed an order from paizo.com or anything. and I've offered them up for people to come to me with an offer, I'm not trying to browbeat anyone into taking minis for their boons.

if this isn't kosher, I'll retract my post.

well, painting a mini doesn't actually cost me anything, and gives someone something cool they can put on the table, along with a story of how they got it.

Wait until after GenCon. Most of the GMs will be getting a race boon with all the elemental races to choose from, including Ifrit, so I'm sure some of them will get traded around.

I've got a number of these from previous GenCon and PaizoCon's, but since none of them were ones I wanted I haven't used them.

If I had known of this thread in the past, I would have put all mine up here for trade. I will after GenCon.

But this brings up a question. Why are these randomly given out instead of "which boon do you want" method? There would be no trading and everyone gets what they want?

Or alternatively, have a trade bank table. Where you can bring boons and swap for something left by another.

I couldn't agree more, since I've got at least 12 boons I'll never use. To be clear, all the special boons I've gotten I have not and shall not use. But I've seen a few in the past I would have liked.

We should set up a "boon trading day" at GenCon and all of us bring our boons to trade? Anyone interested?

So it's Gen Con time and I am unfortunately stuck on the other side of the world.

My four-year-old son really wants a Grippli boon and I have nothi- just KIDDING.
I have loved frogs since forever and I will do a full-body colour custom commission of one of your heroes in exchange for the boon. I will work to your specifications, including description of weaponry, equipment, all that cool unique stuff. I will send through a draft to get edits or alterations before committing to colouring.

I'm interested in a grippli race boon, maybe suli.

To trade, I have: beginner box bash (dhampir/raise dead), expedition manager and xenophobe.

I can also trade pretty much *any* miniatures from the DDM line for those who are more GM-inclined. Pick your monsters and don't go too crazy.

I *could* conceivably trade some minis for a kitsune race boon, as I have a local friend who would probably like one at last.

Yup. That's on the list.

But that is the one bonus that you didn't get to keep when your Shadow Lodge character changed factions; it seems implausible that it would be available to anybody this year.
