I have just enough Kraken rum in my cabinet for a proper celebration tonight! What a wonderful way to wake up this chilly morning!

Congrats!

Ten thousand humble thanks to ALL ye fine backers who have brought the 10 year saga of Razor Coast to a close at long last (that's right, 10 years, many of you think you know the whole story of this book, but its saga is even LONGER!).

I'll have MUCH more to say tomorrow, believe you me. I got the news while I was out at colleague's poetry reading and went out on the town to celebrate in style - now I am exhausted.

Pele is appeased. Our piratical desires shall be sated on 350+pages of evil goodies.

Now - onward cutlass swinging, grog-addled backers - onward to the HEART OF THE RAZOR! Just a few pledges more and its ours for the taking!

YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAR!

Wooo Hoooo so cool, raising a beer in celebration!

This seems appropriate.

This is very good news. Here's hoping for the stretch goals. Heart of the Razor would be great and I am most excited about the "Fire as she bears" stuff !!!

Most disturbing, I tell you.

Indeed, the long wait is all but over. I will finally get my pre-order and then some. I just to figure out what rewards I want to reap out of all of this. But it's nice to know that Razor Coast will freaking finally see the light of day. Pele be praised!

Funded! Woo Hoo!! Now lets see some stretch goals!! I want those hardcover extras!!

Kraken Rum? I don't drink, but I'll have to check that out. Maybe I'll bring some to give to my players who are also running a Skull and Shackles game that I am not involved in.

Me: "Looks like you'll need to roll up a new character."

Player: "What! How did Willie the Wizard die?"
Me: "He drew his dagger and rushed into combat against 3 Barbarian Lizardfolk."
Player: "I don't remember doing that..."
Me: "His warcry was some slurred version of 'Kraken Rum!' Do you have any idea what that means?"
Player: "..."
Me: "Also, you ate three of my Hissers last night. What got into you?"
Player: "I think I'm going to be sick."
Me: "You already were..."

Hey Aaron > most folks drink rum with Coca-Cola, but Kraken rum is a dark spiced rum and IMHO mixes better with Dr. Pepper! ;)

Oh yeah, and stretch goals! Yay!!

And upgraded my pledge - we need the Heart of the Razor. There you go. It's noodles for a week, but totally worth it!

Ooh, I'll have to try that: I really like Kraken with ginger ale.

It is also smooth enough to drink on its own (well, with a couple of ice cubes for company).

I was snowed off work today and have been taking the chance to re-read some of the indulgences: consider my appetite well and truly whetted.

I am pleased as punch (laced with grog). Congratulations to Nick and Lou and everyone else who stuck by you to make this happen!

Nick, you are an insanely billiant master of the macabre (and pirates!) Lou, you are a saint. We already know that Greg is a true Paladin.

Bill, you are and will always be my hero.

Sorting through the project page, here (I think) are the pdf related bonuses at the $110 and $150 levels if we hit $80,000 (which seems likely). Please correct as appropriate:

You've got the campaign book (with 8 indulgences) and the Player's Guide pdfs at the $50 level.

$110
Advanced Options: Fight Like a Pirate (Super Genius Games)
The Malefactor (Total Party Kill Games)
Q3-Death on Signal Island (Pacesetter Games)
Dead Man's Chest (Necromancer)

$150 (includes those listed at the $110 level)
Super Genius Presents: A Brace of Pistols (Super Genius)
101 Pirate and Privateer Traits (Rite Publishing)
Grave Undertakings: Ship of Fools (Total Party Kill Games)
Bucaneers of Freeport (Green Ronin)
Book of Magic Pirate Spells (Jon Brazer Enterprises)
A12 - When the Ship Goes Down (Adventure A Week)
The Heart of the Razor - 4 adventures (Frog God)

Man, that is a lot of stuff at $150! 10 extra pdfs AND four more adventures written specifically for the Razor Coast.

I wanted to get the pdf stuff in one place. But since it plays a big part in the value, I'll add that at:
$110 - Hard copy of the Campaign Book.
$150 - Autographed hard copy of the Campaign Book and hard copy of the Player's Guide

POST CORRECTED FOR HARD COPY INFORMATION. THANKS FOR CORRECTING

Somebody pointed out that Dead Man's Chest is 3.5, not Pathfinder.I think that Bucaneers of Freeport is one of 3.0/3.5/True20. Most, if not all, of the other stuff is Pathfinder.

How much will Heart of the Razor be to add-on a print copy? I'll bump my pledge ahead of time if I know what it'll cost.

I don't think the $110 level includes the Player's Guide (although I would be happy to be wrong).

Yes, and they're converted to Pathfinder.

$110

...
Dead Man's Chest (Necromancer)

And just to be sure it's clear, this is 3.5 - though there's a ton in there that's useful to any game such as general information about oceanography and weather, random weather tables, and so forth.

@Zherog - I am such a Necromancer fan boy that it didn't even occur to me to distinguish that it's not Pathfinder. Dead Man's Chest (and the companion Glades of Death) are EXCELLENT books.

My drink of choice is aptly named for a Razor Coast campaign: the Skinny Pirate. But don't ye dare put a lime in it, ya filthy scallywag!

I will surely raise a glass tonight to celebrate the project's funding. AAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRR!

Yep, both are indeed awesome. And both have plenty of material that can be used in any game. The science stuff in both books is spectacular. I just wanted to point it out for completeness in case somebody cares.

Kinda surprised Paizo didn't kick in Pirates of the Inner Sea. Any link in the patron's mind between Razor Coast and Skull and Shackles would seem like a good thing. I get it's not a huge thing, but that AP gets further in the rear view mirror as each new one comes out (in a new setting).

Similarly, how much will it be to add on as a PDF for us lower-level pledges?

Yes Dead Man's Chest (Necromancer) is 3.5, but is loaded with all sorts of cool stuff and written by Lance Hawvermale including 3 adventures, Ship and Sea Rules, Weather as well as Feats, Prestige Classes, Spells and Magic Items. I have the hard copy in front of me.

Fantastic news! Well done to Lou for guiding this difficult birth, to FGG for all their work and help, Nick for writing the beast, Lou's team, Great Pele, and all of us for hanging in there, pledging and hoping!

Can't wait to actually see a real RC book!

I picked up Dead Man's Chest for a song at a convention years ago. I have never regretted that purchase.

I emailed the folks at Raging Swan, 0One Games and Zombie Sky Press and asked about kicking in one of their pirate-themed pdfs to sweeten the pot. Raging Swan and Frog God are my two favorite Pathfinder 3pps.

I definitely like Dead Man's Chest. But Glades of Death is one of my favorite third edition supplements. It's full of cool stuff to incorporate into Golarions' Darkmoon Vale campaign.

Heart of the Razor = unlocked! Woohoo!

I like Glades also. Necromancer had a few turkeys but not many. Most were the best I have seen in 32 years of playing D&D. RA is still top of my list though, but we will see when the Razor comes out!

I saw that Raging Swan had donated "So What's that Pirate Ship Like" and "Villianous Pirates" for the ENWorld Kickstarter. Still, it would be a good fit with this as well.

Scarab Sages

Funded and first stretch goal on the same day - Pele be praised!

I'm going to try some of that Kraken Rum. Hey everyone - thank you all so very much for your support. I'm a little overwhelmed, actually, and deeply grateful.

I'm not surprised Creighton donated for the ENWorld project. He's a good guy.

Oh...

Hello and congratulations everyone. I'm not a backer yet but I was wondering through which site would the 3PP PDFs be fulfilled? Would it be through talesofthefroggod.com, paizo.com, or some other site? Sorry if this has been asked and answered somewhere else I didn't find it.

A very important shout out as well to all the amazing desingers/writers and publishers who helped make this happen.

The potent skills of the devilish cabal responsible for Heart of the Razor.

The tremendous creative powers of Adam Daigle, who remains one of the few people who the mere mention of brings a warm smile to my face.

John Ling whose talents go well and beyond most developers and crunch-lords.

And a very personal and important shout-out to Tim Hitchcock. What can I say but this: Tim is my favorite adventure designer, and a worthy friend who loves gaming more than any human being I've ever met. He's also a titan in our world. A force of personality at the gaming table, a noble hearted harlequin who japes at power, is fearless in the face of the world's many hard turns, and whose virtues as a human being are unshakeable. I love this man, and its been far too long since I've said so, or seen him. Two things I can rectify at Gencon this year if he's going to be on deck.

Thanks everyone who pledged. Now let's CRUSH these stretch goals and keep sailing for adventure.

By the by: There's very little I wouldn't do if requested for a Captain's Parlay. All you high rollers out there: Dream up any crazy gaming scenario and I'll make it happen. Contact the Frog Gods and fulfill your wildest gaming desires. I dare you.

We will be creating landing pages on talesofthefroggod.com for each of the backer levels with unique usernames and passwords. We will send those out when the project is complete and the surveys have gone out.
