@All- I almost forgot, and I know it's meaningless to most of you, but Happy Autumnal Equinox. I'll be spending some time walking around through the wooded areas by my house later on, gathering herbs and whatnot. This and Samhain (Halloween) are my favorite holidays. While I have bought all gamemastery flipmats published I just decided to get rid of them and use the galeforce 9 vinyls for the future. They just look better and are smoother-however, they do cost a bit more and just one side.

Yeah dunno about flipmats and Vinyl.
I got myself a bunch of 750mm x 1200mm x 3mm boards from the local Building suppliers, covered them in 25mm grid paper, and contacted the lot.
Lay them out side by side you get an area 240' x 450' of 'battlespace' that you can just draw up with whiteboard markers. I made up stacks of 'terrain counters' I can throw on the board as well in various sizes, to make trees or brush etc.
Works quite well and very quick.
I just got sick of combats always happening in small spaces and even when there was a massive anmount of terrain about they seemed to always take place when everyone was on a 120' x 60' mat... hmmm. Start the parties 300' apart and watch the game change.

I'm just not yet seeing a RP reason to have Vaughn even suspect Berry wants to adventure, or has any suitable skills for it. as thigns are right now, he's expecting to drop Berry off at that gnome's place, then head back for a nice bit of R&R--and likely never hear from Berry again. So . . . what now???

Well yesterday went well!
Daughter's grading performance was pretty much flawless, so I'm sure she will enjoy her nifty new belt next week. I also got to smash a lot of boards and roof tiles, and fight three other people so I was all gravy :)
