A thing that came up:
If you want to buy some stuff that is rather mundane and you are in a city or settlement that normally should sell those wares like a POCL for example, you can do that without notifying me. I trust you that you note all changes (especially gold-wise) on your sheets.
So six decks of many things is a-okay? :P

So, I have been thinking lately about Bonzo... and I've decided I don't know if I like the character very much. I like the personality, especially with the Halfling theme of the party, but I'm not enjoying the actual mechanics of a Summoner. I know we just recently introduced Saflon and Berry to the group, so we've been going through a lot of changes already, but I was wondering if I could potentially make a new character concept and see what you think of it?
Let me know. Also, if I do scrap this character, would it be okay for my recent wealth to either go back to the rest of the group or towards a new character?

Leather armor +500 and an adamantine rapier of speed +500 are real cheap in Sandpoint these days - these qualify as mundane as opposed to the +5000 equip I was looking for right?.

Thanks Zyren.
OK, so my laptop is apparently on it's last leg and I don't have the cash right now to get it repaired let alone to buy a new one. *Sigh* fml. If it does die out completely I won't be on quite as much because I'll be relegated to using only my pandigital for pleasure surfing, and it kinda sucks to type on. I'll end up having to use my friend computer for school until I can get a new one but that may not be until January.

Gah I forgot to post this earlier! I'll be gone tomorrow-Sunday for Larp!
Bonzo Rozer |
Does that sound reasonable to you? A little contrived, but it would accomplish everything we'd need it to and wouldn't be too jarring of an adjustment for the group.
Gonna roll ability scores...
4d6 ⇒ (6, 2, 6, 5) = 19 17
4d6 ⇒ (5, 2, 2, 6) = 15 13
4d6 ⇒ (2, 2, 4, 5) = 13 11
4d6 ⇒ (6, 4, 4, 6) = 20 16
4d6 ⇒ (2, 6, 2, 3) = 13 11
4d6 ⇒ (1, 3, 1, 3) = 8 7
Tallied up it is 75, exactly the minimum, again. I've been having awful luck with rolling ability scores on the last few characters. And I'm gonna have quite the dump stat, haha.

Alright, decided: Urban Ranger Skirmisher. I'm going to have Kaer Maga as my favored community, and I think the new character will have already been in Kaer Maga for a while. Since Bonzo's family doesn't know where he went off to, this new guy (still no name) would have recognized Bonzo as part of the Wee Bluets and sent a letter back to Riddleport to let his family know. They asked him to ask Bonzo to come home, and Bonzo goes home. New guy fills in the missing Halfling role in the party :P

My daughter just tried to break my nose :(
My daughter is shooting for her (junior) black belt on Sunday. Crazy gelfling is always trying to get shots in on me (in a good natured way), its like living with Cato from the Pink Panther... she waits to spring ambushes on me 'for teh lulz'.
I don't want to derail a good plan, but In HOL, the amethyst heptagon was feeling so urgent and crucial. Would Solaric feel ok postponing that leg of the quest to go to Carrion Hill to help the mayor?
With Victoria so close to her own rank and title she can practically taste it, Solaric so close to being granted entry to the noble ranks and thus able to pursue his 'justice'.... well making the Countess happy is about the only thing on Victorias mind. Her interests are more motivated by her own ambition; raw, naked, burning ambition. You may have missed the part where she just practically sold her own father up the river...
The Heptagon is urgent and crucial, but hey, they wont be going far when we still hold a few chunks of it, we can sidetrek :p

Lol, how often is she able to get these shots in on you?

We do Tae Kwon Do together.
I've kind of been doing varied martial arts a long time now, so she doesn't often get too many through - which makes her try harder. On the side I take her (and some of the other students) through chokes, locks, and grapples which are missing from the sylabus. :p

Wow. Apparently I don't exist, roflmfao. I had to share this with you guys. I'm sorry, it's just too hilarious (and a wee bit infuriating).
This lady says that there is no proof that LGBT people exist!

So does that mean that my mother having bedroom olympics and kissing up on another woman just means they're really good friends?
Wish I knew that earlier, might have saved a lot of drama growing up.

Now there is a woman who has never had an orgasm.

Better late than never :) Yeah I started at an early age as well... I used to spend a lot of time as a wee kid in the Chinatown cinemas watching all the Kung Fu flicks, and of course The Samurai, and Monkey Magic. Got me hooked fast.

I started when I was 15 or so. Been doing Yoshin Ryu JuJitsu and several other styles ever since. Owned a Shoot Fighting Gym prior to joining the service. Started teaching my kids, but had to hold off when they strated working their preschools mates over. My 3 year old goes to town with his nerf axe all the time, lol. Seen him power attacking groups of older kids in neighborhood battles. Like a Halfling Invulnerable Rager, hahaha.

Nice - I started age 8 doing Karate and Judo at the local Police Boys Club (like a community hall, but run for local kids in bad areas by the local Police) and like you, have been pretty much at it ever since.
My daughter is a very patient child, and so far hasn't hit any other kids out of anger - but she loooooves sparring and tournament fighting.
Otherwise she's an angelic Girl Guide who sells cookies and stuff - its quite funny to watch the psychological change when its 'fight time'.

Hi HoD players! Garabbott here. I've been thinking lately about my character in HoD and I decided I wasn't getting all I could out of the game. While I enjoyed Bonzo's personality and the semi-Halfling theme of the party, I didn't much care for the game mechanics of a Summoner, and it was starting to drag down my enthusiasm. I liked the general idea behind Bonzo and Donna, but decided I was looking for something else--I've never been too much of a caster player, and maybe I should have started with something a little more straight forward.
Anyway, so... I've worked some things over with Zyren, and soon you'll be meeting a new Rozer: Bonzo's distant cousin, Jazz. He'll be a little more hardened, know a bit more about Kaer Maga (he's been living here for at least several years), and is a super sneaky Urban Ranger. I'll be building the character over the next few days, and hopefully it won't be too weird of a transition process.

Jazz Rozer - sounds a bit more gritty :)
@ All:
I have used the new interface options now and all campaign journals have been moved to their proper places and all discussion are now linked to this thread here and all your chars should now be member of their respective campaigns.
I hope you like the new possibilities the board gods gave us.

@ Bonzo: It's all about fun, so I'm totally ok with any changes. You can transfer the money, no problem, but the gear has to stay with Bonzo.
You may spend half WBL though for a new char.
Zyren, sorry but I just want to clarify, do you mean that I can spend half WBL (5250 for 5th level) on gear? The concept of transferring the money has me thrown a little bit.

I've been press ganged at the last minute into another weekend of skating. Got to go skate around the isle of wight (80ish miles) for charity. Might just try to get the whole thing done on Saturday so may be back Sunday but we'll see.
EDIT: Actually thinking about it, I'll still be in the UK so my phone should still work and I'll probably be able to check the boards and post a bit. Well that is until my phone runs out of battery.

Sounds like a good time Kanyk. I doubt they had to pressure you too much to convince you :->
and it also sounds like we could open a Zyren's Marauder's Martial Arts Academy. Im studying Hek Ki Boen Eng Chun Kun
