Picked up Silhouette CORE Version 003 today for $2.00 US. Seems to be decent enough from what I am seeing so far.

Thanks for travelling down to Newtown to catch up today Shifty - was an enjoyable afternoon chinwag and realization that even a city as big as Sydney isn't too big for some six degrees of separation surprises!

Apologies for the absenteeism, holiday evenings are basically consisting of me welded to the couch with an eight month old on my chest and I've not been able to wrangle posting time until late at night (generally past midnight). Normal service will resume in three-ish days once I'm back at home base.

Hmmm - went to the Museum of Science and Industry here in Chicago yesterday. There was a big sign up about genetically modified chicks. All I could think about was whether they were modified to have big breasts and firm thighs. Did I misinterpret something?
No...hopefully not!
Sadly, no. I killed lots of mosquitoes, though, and only got bit maybe once. We also saw a poisonous snake, but someone had stomped on it and killed it on the trail.

On the other end of the temperature spectrum- Reign of Winter wasn't of much interest until I saw where book 4 and 5 are going. Sounds pretty EPIC.
Yeah I'm headed right for some of the worst of it.
Heaps of it has out of control fires as well... kinda bad to have to deal with the terrain and realise you could have a fire front crop up that is a hundred miles long.
Well, here is a video on what to do if you should run into that hundred mile fire line - or an atomic bomb.

The other 30 are for practice. You cannot become proficient in the Toss Ally feat without practice.

Is Warhammer 40k worth getting into? The models have always intrigued me, but the game is just so damned expensive.
Quick question about Deathwatch; what are the best supplements for this game? I have the core book and was looking to expand a little.

And regarding 40k - I'd say no! Just play Dust :)
I have played Dust and liked it. Much more affordable than 40K. I'll look into those books, also.
