Okey dokes. Well, in true Mediaeval German style, they're in a pit, armed with a large stone wrapped in a veil, and I'm outside with a club. We have both been stitched into skin-tight greased leather suits.
However, the pit-diggers forgot to account for the fact that my darling spouses are both bricks, hence they're both just lying at the bottom of a three foot hole, and neither of us can reach the other.
O well. At least we have the Straining Contest to entertain us while we wait.

Water hammer is a real life thing. It can be quite destructive.
I looked it up. interesting. So just a shock wave from water suddenly changing directions typically while in a pipe or something.
I never thought about it but that does make sense. It's like how I never thought about water pressure until you realize that actually that many gallons of water are weighting down on you.

So if he is a fish he needs oxygenated water to breath yeah? If he is like a shark he has to keep forward momentum or suffocate. I don't think gills can do dry drown right? I am not a fish...ologist... I do know a few good ways to prepare fish though so we have that to look forward too.
