Speaking of dragonlance can someone confirm this info for me. My old DM was quite sure the dragonlance world was all located on the first layer of the abyss. on that plane. I can't seem to find the info to confirm or deny it.

I don't think it's wise to question why Goattoucher is anywhere! In regards to dragonlance, I had a quick look and while it doesn't say exactly where the dragonlance world takes place, but I did read that the gods of the dragonlance world are in opposition to the forces of chaos. So I don't think that it is in the abyss (not even on the first layer) as that would give the forces of chaos a "home advantage".
