You'll find DMs recruiting in the Gamer Connection thread. Happens fairly often - a guy can join 4 or 5 games over the course of a month conceivably. The trick is to find a good game. Check the PBP board, how many posts, how often....
Also, you need to ask yourself "how much will I check the Paizo boards?" because that's part of the habit. Being in a few games helps keep you interested because sometimes things move a little slow in a PBP.

And it's great fun when they all suddenly pick up at the same time...
Also, it's very true what Kruel says. While I am probably a bit more of a glutton for punishment than most (I am currently playing in 10 and about to start another) there are definately times when the games can stall, so it's good to try and get into at least two if you can.
