Have these been done yet? Are there any Pathfinder books out right now that can be used in addition to the 3.5 PHB?
thanks
Mike
As of today, my son and I are signed up for Pathfinder #1 thru #4 adventures at Gen Con Indy.
I'm assuming there will be some more information forthcoming regarding character creation. I can't imagine we'll be expected to spend time creating them during the first event.

My son and I are signed up for all 5 Pathfinder Society events at Gencon. We are definitely looking forward to it and can't wait to get our hands on the character creation rules.

I interested in this issue too. I'm assuming we aren't playing pre-gens but don't know where to find the rules for generating my own character. Is everyone starting at first level?
Is it possible to advance to 2nd within the four mods or are more expected to be needed?
Any help out there?

My goal is to have them ready by August 1 at the latest so that everyone coming to Gen Con can have their characters ready before they start playing.
I'm hoping, should we be using the point buy system, that we get 28-32 points. My poor Bard is going to have a rough time of it if its any less...

Correct me if I am wrong, but is this D&D 3.5?
The sample Dwarf looks 3.5, but that seems counter productive.
If you folks are launching your new PFRPG, then why aren't we all using the Pathfinder rules exactly? Someone official let me know what is up with this, please, as I was really looking forward to playing the PFRPG, not 3.5. I though we were all working towards the future of this little project and all...

One thing at a time. No point in running an OP system off rules that are in beta. It gets incredibly frustrating for players when things change multiple times throughout the season to match rules fluctuations. We'd rather change them once, in August 2009.

Yeah; the Beta RPG rules are still in Beta, and will be until Gen Con 2009. That means the rules are still in flux and changing: the game's still quite far from being done.
We didn't want to force everyone to remake their characters every few weeks or months or whatever whenever we made an adjustment to the Beta, so Season 0 uses the 3.5 rules as a result.

You can try out the new rules in the Paizo booth by running our dungeon delve. :-)
That is, if you survive long enough to try them out ...
Ha! It'll take more than a few suped-up new-and-improved monsters to take ...Er, where would my character be from if I was going for a Spanish/French duelist?
