Hey, Pett, did you get your fez from Fez-o-Rama?
And did everybody get an eyefull of the goblin wearing a fez in the latest PfAP? Sweet.
Fez-o-Rama indeed. I bought mine at Quegly, Smythe, Robson, Donaldson, Forbes, Mimplewrad and Cadwallader's Royal Fez Manufactory.
Dinner party time, the salmon is ready, the duck roasting nicely, the wine is warming and the trapeze is swinging.
See you fine fellows (and Louge) tomorrow. Don't forget I'm ringing you on sunday to discuss - ahem.
Good night Mary-Ellen.
Panama - you have the crease sir! I feel a long innings on a damp wicket against a mound of cads is ahead of you and can only apologise I won't be joining you at the crease this evening - but soon sir - soon.
Courage!

Thanks for your patience everyone! I will chip away at RC during this busy time, but as soon as summer rolls around (in a month and a half) I will gloriously have NOTHING to do for my day job (the joy of acadamia), and can finally put Sinister Adventures first again (and for three full months until October). I can't friggin wait!
I'll just be patient then. This is so far the only book for my preferred system to do much of anything with Polynesian culture. I have my Tiki obsession to think of so while I am getting sick of waiting for RC. I will wait for the finished product to be done and in my paws.

You scallywags taking my name in vain and creating silly little aliases with a slight misspelling of my surname is simply unacceptable. There is only one true Lougue, I'll have you know. And you other pretenders need to give it a rest.
Really...it's sick.
And as for you Mr. Prett: I know where you live, and I'm on the same island now. There is no hiding your c o c k from my punch.
At PaizoconUK there shall be a throwdown of epic of proportions - and when they are cleaning your crumpety innards off the walls, I'll pick my teeth with your stiff upper lip.
Don't miss the slugfest ladies and gents. PaizoconUK, be there!

So tried registering again on SA's forums and the registration doesn't work. Anyone have any clues what the problem is and when and IF it will be fixed?
The website has been hosed for months.
Supposedly it had been hacked (over and over) and now there is something wrong with the security thingy (believe it or not but I am software developer) - some people can still post but most of us are relegated to the Shout Box.

Hi Krome!
I can reboot the website and fix the problem apparently, but we'll lose all the forum posts, so I am attempting to create cut and pastable archives of the old posts. However, I have been so swamped I just haven't gotten around to it yet. Sorry for the delay!

I have limited experience with forum software, but don't you have the option of downloading/backing up the forum database?
Or is the problem integrated into the database?

Depends how the forum backup works and where the error is that is causing the problem. There is a chance any backup would save the error as well.
Likely the best way to handle it would be to make a second forum. Leave the old one up and rename it as a archive forum of sorts and just go with a new one. Not a perfect solution but a quick and easy one. then later if a option to import the old threads is found you can then import them later.
But the short term is active forums again.

Just to let you know Nick, he is not the only one with this problem.

Ugh. Sorry about the website troubles. Hope to get them worked out as soon as I am finished with the term.

I am shining my eyepatch, honing my cutlass and teaching my parrot to praise Dajobas in anticipation ....
Oh, it's sooooo good. I can't wait to get it wrapped up in a pretty bow for you all. I had a chance to whack at it some tonight and it is really shaping up to be all-sorts-of-f&@&ed-up.

Cues the hornpipes
Fifteen months waiting for this book
Yo ho ho and a bottle of dew
Waited so long to take a look
Yo ho ho and a bottle of dew.
For I am an impatient geek
Good pirate fun is what I seek
When it's delayed I twitch and tweak
I curse the hand of improv'dent Fate
The evil wench who makes me wait
What little hair's left falls off me pate
Yo ho ho and a bottle of dew!

Notices for first time that Mr. Logue does not appear to have an 'h' in his first name....
Umm, how do you feel about a 'britification' of your name by the addition of a 'h' for 'hook mountain', Mr. Logue?
