"let 'er rip!!" it's still very cold in Ct., and were getting 1-5 tonight (snow) But it's ok, I'm well stocked with guiness extra(yellow label), lagunitas pale ale, and some polish blackberry(brandy) just in case...

It appears that, that's it, if everyone's still around we move on from here. If Sean, Minister of Quisp (I know it's ktsp-and fully agree, but every time I see it I think of Quisp and if he had a minister ie "his boss" He would be a beholder from Saturn) is still interested in running something, I'm here, but we'd probably need 1 more player so I suggest we ditch this illnamed thread for new digs

quisp

(in case you guys have no idea what some of that is about)

Let's at least use this thread to find out what Sean wants to run, if he's still game, before setting out a call.

If it's Pharoahs, I'll probably pass, but don't sweat it -- I've got enough to keep me busy.

Male Human

ZERO!

*Leans casually on the plunger*

So what name did you have in mind?

Male, but you really don't want to know how to check gender on a beholder... Human. You just can't beat that extra feat and those extra skill points. Gamer 20 (specialist school - DMing)/Theater Tech 15/Writer 10/ Slacker 30

Howdy gang.

I'm about to head out to work for the day. I haven't fully decided, but I'm still leaning pretty heavily toward Pharohs. I've read it twice already, and running it would take far less work for me. Sorry, Pat.

No worries. See y'all in other games!

Male Human

Same characters or different ones?

I think I'd prefer to keep the same character though I may change some of his equipment around. I don't have this mod so I might need a heads up on setting and what changes (if any) need to be make to our characters.

We'll get to that. I'm not entirely opposed to keeping characters, though I'll have to look over the characters in question to make sure they're appropriate for the module. I believe the modules both start at the same level.

Also, just a heads up -- I might try to recruit some more people. I may modify the character creation rules, and if I do, any existing characters will need to be brought in line with the new setup, but it should be mostly painless to do that, I think.

Anyway, I will make an announcement for my other two PbP groups first, to give them first pass, and then, maybe, I'll make a more open recruitment announcement.

Now, if there winds up being a lot of interest, I may run multiple parties through the game simultaneously. Pharaohs is uniquely suited to having multiple competing parties run through it.

More on this as it develops.

Sounds interesting. I'll keep my eyes open.

I forgot to announce it over here, but I have opened a new discussion thread:

Those interested in playing Entombed with the Pharaohs, sound off over there, and I'll post updated info about the new game later tonight.

Today's probably going to be busy for me, and tomorrow is a twelve hour day for me (though I may have opportunity to post, and I will if I can).

If we wind up with 6 or more players, I'll split it into two teams. I think it would be a blast to run two competing teams through the module simultaneously.

Male Human

Yes, I'm interested!

*You see the plunger sink under his weight*

Oops..
